CAN SATAN PREVENT PRAYER FROM BEING HEARD?

WATCHMAN’S CREED!

Ezekiel 33:9
[9]Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

The choice is yours to make, so there are no excuses, as you were warned and you “chose your path”!

SPIRITUAL FOUNDATION

Matthew 21:21 KJV
Jesus answered and said unto them, “Verily I say unto you, if ye have faith and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, ‘Be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea,’ it shall be done.

OBSERVATION!

The answer to the question comes in the form of a question. According to this verse, if we pray without doubt in our hearts, then our prayer will be heard and honoured by Yahweh! The question then is, why are so many prayers not being answered?

When I survey the Ecclesia, I hear I believe in God I trust God! I pray every day, but nothing is happening. I am so worried for my flock?

Please pay particular attention to the last statement. It is the answer to your question of why there was no response to your prayer or you didn’t like the answer!

COMMENTARY!

I am opening with this scripture for a profound reason. 2 Timothy 1:7 KJV
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

So if we are as believers given a sound mind, then it would mean we have an ability to exercise the gift of discernment which the Holy Spirit has gifted.

It is through this discernment I desire to show how you are being robbed of the power of prayer by Satan instilling one word in your mind causing doubt in your heart in order to cancel your prayers against him and his work in your life.

Matthew 14:29-30 NKJV
So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. [30] But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!”

Nothing ought to frighten those that have Christ near them, and know he is theirs; not death itself. Peter walked upon the water, not for diversion or to boast of it, but to go to Jesus; and in that he was thus wonderfully borne up.

Special supports are promised and are to be expected, but only in spiritual pursuits; nor can we ever come to Jesus unless we are upheld by his power. Christ bade Peter come, not only that he might walk upon the water, and  know his Lord’s power, but that he might know his own weakness.

And the Lord often lets his servants have their choice, to humble and prove them, and to show the greatness of his power and grace. When we look off from Christ and look at the greatness of opposing difficulties, we shall begin to fall; but when we call to him, he will stretch out his arm and save us.

Christ is the great Saviour; those who would be saved, must come to him, and cry to him, for salvation; we are never brought to this, till we find ourselves sinking: the sense of need drives us to him.

The following is why Satan plants his one word in the minds of believers to cause their prayer to falter and drop before them. The statement, I worry. This statement is one of doubt in the hearts of many.

The following is a perfect description of why God has called us to turn to Him in all matters as it clarifies and defines the charity in our hearts and what significance our actions in prayer mean in the eyes of God.

Some of the effects of charity are stated, that we may know whether we have his grace; and that if we have not, we may not rest until we have it. This love is a clear proof of regeneration and is a touchstone of our professed faith in Christ.

In this beautiful description of the nature and effects of love, Charity is an utter enemy to selfishness; it does not desire or seek its own praise, or honour, or profit, or pleasure. Not that charity destroys all regard to ourselves, or that the charitable man should neglect himself and all his interests.

But charity never seeks its own to the hurt of others or to neglect others. It ever prefers the welfare of others to its private advantage. How good-natured and amiable is Christian charity! How excellent would Christianity appear to the world if those who profess it were more under this Divine principle and paid due regard to the command on which its blessed Author laid the chief stress!

Let us ask whether this Divine love dwells in our hearts. Has this principle guided us into becoming behaviour to all men? Are we willing to lay aside selfish objects and aims? Here is a call to watchfulness, diligence, and prayer.

We see our charity in action through our faith in Yahewa’s love as we place all of our needs before Him in prayer as our love for all abounds in hope and trust.

To sum up the excellences of charity, it is preferred not only to gifts, but to other graces, to faith and hope. Faith fixes on the Divine revelation, and assents thereto, relying on the Divine Redeemer. Hope fastens on future happiness, and waits for that; but in heaven, faith will be swallowed up in actual sight, and hope in enjoyment. There is no room to believe and hope, when we see and enjoy. But there, love will be made perfect. There we shall perfectly love God. And there we shall perfectly love one another. Blessed state! how much surpassing the best below! God is love, 1 John 4:8, 1 John 4:16.

1Corinthians 13:13 KJV
And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

Robert a humble obedient servant to Yeshua and his Father in heaven Yahewa. And all of God’s children say Amen and Amen.
