IS OUR JOURNEY ANY DIFFERENT THAN THE ISRAELITES WHO EXITED EGYPT?

SPIRITUAL FOUNDATION!

There is scarcely any sin against which our Lord Jesus more warns his disciples than disquieting, distracting, distrustful cares about the things of this life. And we recognize the reward for those who choose this path in the following scripture.

Matthew 7:22 KJ21
Many will say to Me in that Day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy name, and in Thy name have cast out devils, and in Thy name done many wonderful works?

And those who hold the Lord in their hearts as Caleb and Joshua did, will hear the Holy Spirit reveal to them this promise John 14:2-4 KJV
In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. [3] And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto Myself, that where I am, there ye may be also. [4] And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.”

COMMENTARY!

Here is an important realization that should hold a profound meaning in the hearts of many. Recognition that our journey is no different than the Israelites Exodus from Egypt, with exception, we have the Holy Spirit guiding us to our promised land under Salvation through Yeshua and with Yahweh’s grace offering forgiveness for our sins as we continue our journey on the now found narrow path few follow.

When you can accept your journey is an Exodus from the slavery of a sinful life, it becomes easier to accept the warnings and teachings of why we must sepnarate from the luxuries and comforts of the world as the example was set by 799,998 Israelites of what happens when we are not obedient and believe in our minds we are worshipping in righteousness while adopting and including worldly and pagan customs into our worship and refuse to assess and change as they did. And we see, as a result, there were only two who made it to the promised land, Numbers 32:12 KJV.
save Caleb, the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite and Joshua, the son of Nun; for they have wholly followed the LORD.’

Blessings to all who hear and receive these words. I desire to relate, the world represents the Egypt I made my Exodus from when I  accepted Yeshua’s call to follow him (my Salvation and freedom from Satan’s  slavery) and never want to go back to that slavish life of sin, suffering the pains of anguish, and the emptiness which I never realized I languished in. Compared to the peace I now have in my spirit while daily, receiving spiritual manna from the Holy Spirit feeding heavenly wisdom to my soul. Knowing our Lord is providing, guiding, and protecting me as I continue my journey through this desert I recognize as the world offering me only a return to emptiness and mirages. I now see the world similar to a wasteland, filled with traps, pitfalls, snares, and dangers. I give my Hallelujah and praise, to  the Lord who is with me, as my pillar of fire leading me in the daylight and protecting me at night as I rest. And reminds me, I am in the hands of his angels.

Psalms 23:1-6
[1](A Psalm of David.) The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
[2]He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
[3]He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
[4]Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
[5]Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
[6]Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

When you can accept your journey is an Exodus, it becomes easier to accept the warnings and teachings of why we must separate from the luxuries and comforts of the world as the example was set by 799,998 of what happens when we are not obedient and start thinking for ourselves. Matthew 7:14 KJV.
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

The Lord has set this  before us to acknowledge and take Yeshua’s teaching in Matthew 22:37 KJV
Jesus said unto him, “‘Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.’

Seriously to heart and assess our walks daily to know we are on that narrow path.

Traveling the narrow path is not an easy task, and it is frought with persecution and ridicule from those in the world and in the Ecclesia envious of your position within your faith.

Those few who do travel, the narrow path become the Beacons on the hill reflecting God’s light into the datkness of the world to guide those seeking and yet to find their way and courage to break free of the world’s grasp on their souls even though they seek this freedom.

James 5:10 KJ21
My brethren, take the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, as an example of suffering affliction and of patience.

If you should be called to wait longer than the husbandman, is not there something more worth waiting for? In every sense the coming of the Lord drew nigh, and all his people’s losses, hardships, and sufferings, would be repaid. Men count time long, because they measure it by their own lives; but all time is as nothing to God; it is as a moment. To short-lived creatures a few years seem an age; but Scripture, measuring all things by the existence of God, reckons thousands of years but so many days. God brought about things in Job’s case, so as plainly to prove that he is very pitiful and of tender mercy. This did not appear during his troubles, but was seen in the event, and believers now will find a happy end to their trials. Let us serve our God, and bear our trials, as those who believe that the end will crown all. Our eternal happiness is safe if we trust to him: all else is mere vanity, which soon will be done with for ever.?

Ezekiel 18:17 KJ21
who hath taken off his hand from the poor, who hath not received usury nor increase, hath executed My judgments, hath walked in My statutes – he shall not die for the iniquity of his father: he shall surely live.

The soul that sinneth it shall die. As to eternity, every man was, is, and will be dealt with, as his conduct shows him to have been under the old covenant of works or the new covenant of grace. The question here is not about the meritorious ground of justification but about the Lord’s dealings with the righteous and the wicked.

Robert a humble obedient servant to Yeshua and his Father in heaven Yahewa. And all of God’s children say Amen and Amen.
