SPIRITUAL FOUNDATION!
Matthew 10:16 KJV
Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
OUR PRAYER!

Father in heaven, hear our call for your wisdom to be brought before us, fill our hearts with your desire to serve in obedience. Lay your plan before us, Father, that we would know our direction and destination. Lift from our eyes the binders of darkness that we will identify those who have strayed. Fill our soul with your information that we are able to separate your sheep from the wolves in sheep’s clothing. Flood us with courage, discernment, through your knowledge and understanding. Anchor our feet on your solid foundation so no spiritual storm can sweep us away from our task. We thank you, Father, for this assignment and pray in the name of Yeshua. That you bless us with meekness, so we remain your faithful servants. And all of God’s children said Amen and Amen.
COMMENTARY!
Our Lord warned his disciples to prepare for persecution. They were to avoid all things which gave advantage to their enemies, all meddling with worldly or political concerns, all appearance of evil or selfishness, and all underhand measures. Christ foretold troubles, not only that the troubles might not be a surprise, but that they might confirm their faith. He tells them what they should suffer, and from whom. Thus Christ has dealt fairly and faithfully with us, in telling us the worst we can meet with in his service; and he would have us deal so with ourselves, in sitting down and counting the cost.
The ministry of the gospel calls men to receive Christ as a Prince and a Saviour; and he will surely come in the power of his Spirit to all places whither he sends his faithful servants.
But the doom of those who receive the grace of God in vain, will be very fearful Those who despise the faithful ministers of Christ, who think meanly of them, and look scornfully upon them, will be reckoned as despisers of God and Christ.
We are not to confine our attention to Judas. The prophecy of his treachery may apply to all who partake of God’s mercies and meet them with ingratitude. See the infidel, who only looks at the Scriptures with a desire to do away their authority and destroy their influence; the hypocrite, who professes to believe the Scriptures, but will not govern himself by them; and the apostate, who turns aside from Christ for a thing of naught.
Thus mankind, supported by God’s providence, after eating bread with Him, lift up the heel against Him! Judas went out as one weary of Jesus and his apostles. Those whose deeds are evil, love darkness rather than light.

Robert a humble obedient servant to Yeshua and his Father in heaven Yahewa. And all of God’s children said Amen and Amen.
