“NARROW IS THE WAY WHICH LEADETH UNTO LIFE”! ARE YOU UP TO IT?

OPENING PRAYER by Robert

Heavenly Father, I come before you as a humble servant and lay before your Throne my petitions for your intercession on behalf of those who are seeking to work out their walk in your footsteps. I pray Lord, you fill them with the spirit of knowledge, Truth, Self-appraisal, the sense of acceptance. I ask Lord, you would remove from them the spirits of pride, self-indulgence, vanity, haughtiness, worldly lusts, fill them with humility and the strength to control their will. Give them an open mind to hear the teaching and guidance of the Holy Spirit with discernment and acceptance.  I further ask Father, you fill them with the spirit of boldness and the spirit of fearlessness. I pray in the name of Yeshua Amen and Amen.

OPENING COMMENTS “I KEEP UNDER” by Robert

If you’re wondering about the comment “I KEEP UNDER,” it is a technical term the Greeks used when preparing for the ISTHMIAN games, which were the most ancient glories of Corinth. They were celebrated every second year and fostered the feeling of brotherhood in the Hellenic race.

The athletes to enter these games had to be Greeks of pure blood and done nothing to forfeit their citizenship. Scarcely any more significant distinction could be earned by a Greek citizen than victory in these games. These games were the greatest of national gatherings, and even when one State was at war with another, hostilities became suspended.

So what does this have to do with our drawing closer to Yeshua and his teachings? If you recall, I made reference to a Crown in the closing comments of “The Ultimate Distraction Is It Worth It?”

That casual comment is the premise of this article, and what we as followers of Yeshua who are seeking to get our walk in order are going to learn about what it’s going to take to remain in this current footprint and earn that Crown and what it represents.

So far, our lessons have been to self-analyze our walk learn about our weaknesses and strengths, assess where we believe we stand and reinforce our decision to follow God and return to His laws as He has called us to do. Well, with the knowledge we have gained about being distracted.

The Holy Spirit is showing me we are now going to leave the surface part of our walk and delve into what makes us tick as far as our commitment to Yahweh and Yeshua.

Remember, I referred to God having Moses lead the people into the desert; they wandered for 40 years to rid themselves of the false gods and temptations.

During that time, God removed two generations to prepare them for their entry into the promised land. Here is where we step away from the Worldly teachings, myths and temptations and get right down to the nitty-gritty.

Here is where the Holy Spirit takes off the kid gloves bringing forward truths we need to know, which is going to become a part of our walk but don’t want to accept or do anything.

The Holy Spirit is going to show us we’re comfortable, even complacent. This footprint represents our cleansing of those worldly temptations our Body continually brings to us.

This footprint is our 40 years in the desert. For those who have done the audit, you will understand, for those who have not read the earlier writings may find this information a bit confusing.

I ask you to go to my site romboughrobert.com start with the first article in this series, Truth will be evil, Lies will be Truth, and then the others to catch up. Each item is a step bringing you closer to recognizing your strengths and weaknesses in your walk. They will reveal truths as tools in preparation for this article and the revelations about to be revealed.

Here the Holy Spirit shows that subtle statement about our Body being a temple (1 Cor. 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?) comes into play, he is revealing a truth known or unknown by all.

The Holy Spirit points out many are taking our bodies for granted and shouldn’t be, as they are a Temple that houses our spirit and the Spirit of God.

The question then is, “How well are you maintaining your Temple?” Next question, “Is the lusts of your body in control of you, or do you think you’re in control”?

Here should be our best reassessment of our position on caring for our temple. As Paul points out in 2 Cor 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk-in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

What comes to mind is the closing quote I offered from Isaiah 35:8, And a highway shall be there, and the way, and it shall be called “The Way of Holiness.” The unclean shall not Passover it, but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools shall not err therein.

I believe in that passage, Isaiah was defining the narrow path Yeshua spoke of  Matt 7:14 “Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be to find it .”

To travel this road according to Isaiah on our part will take hard work, determination and a passionate commitment on the part of those who desire the life Yeshua spoke of, as well as the Crown, offered in the victory of finding the narrow path.

Even Paul realized this Truth:  In opening Paul in previous chapters of 1 Corinthians has proven his right to claim remuneration from those to whom he preached the Gospel, and he has also given his reasons for declining to urge this assertion.

He was resolved that no one should have any ground for misapprehending his motive in preaching the Gospel. Paul had another reason, namely, “that he might be himself a partaker of the benefits he taught” (1 Corinthians 9:23).

Apostle though he was, he had his Salvation to work out. He was not himself saved by proclaiming Salvation to others, any more than the baker is fed making bread for others, or the physician kept in health by prescribing for others.

Paul was resolved persistently to do, lest that by any means when he had preached to others, he should be a castaway.”  This goes back to my description of Hell as I see it; even Paul an Apostle feared it “Godly Rejection” and “Eternal Separation” from YESHUA  because of being Distracted by worldly temptations.

Reflecting on the start of this journey, God called us to return to His Laws, did you throughout this journey not wonder why He called us back? What purpose was there in having us do an audit? Well, I believe the answers to these questions are right before us here.

Those who have had an ear to hear and an eye to see are possibly realizing they may have strayed but may be off base in working out there Salvation and maintaining their walk on the narrow path.

Hard work, personal honesty, commitment to finish and the knowledge of what will be available to those willing to endure and go forward is what the Holy Spirit is revealing.

The hard work will be first gaining control over your body and cleaning up the temple, so it falls under our control, not control us through the lusts of the world the Body desires. It is essential to acknowledge the Body was not created for pleasure. It is a temple, and those who defile it will suffer its destruction.

Paul mentions the one enemy, namely our “BODY,”; which must be kept under, thereby brought into subjection. By the Body, we are to understand fleshly appetites and inclinations.

These the apostle set himself to curb and conquer, and in this, the Corinthians and as well ourselves are bound to imitate him.  Note: Those who would pursue the interests of their souls must beat down their bodies and keep them under control.

There must be hard combat with fleshly lusts, and not indulge a wanton appetite, and want for heathenish sacrifices, nor eat them, to please their flesh, at the hazard of their brethren’s souls. The Body must be made to serve the mind, not suffered to be lorded by it.

The Apostle Paul chose “The ISTHMIAN games” as a comparison because the contestants were pure Greeks. As we are discovering, we need to be refined in our commitment to Yeshua and our desire to follow God’s laws to obtain the Crown promised.

These comments should give you an expectation of what is to come. If you recall in the first declaration made, what the Holy Spirit revealed, I did not fully comprehend the expectations of my commitment. Now I am discerning, recognizing and understanding what he meant. I was missing the mark and didn’t realize how much or more importantly [why].

Paul had evidently felt this danger to be a serious one. He had found himself tempted from time to time to rest in the name and call of an apostle, to take for granted that his Salvation was a thing past doubt and on which no more thought or effort need be extended.

He saw in a slightly altered form this temptation was common to all Christians. All have the name, not all the reality. And the mere possession of the name is a temptation to forget the Truth.

Here I am wondering how many reading this article have honestly found themselves falling prey to this very same temptation? The Holy Spirits words are now echoing somewhat loud in my mind, how much I didn’t understand about my walk.

I know, we must work out our Salvation daily; however, for some reason, never fully comprehended the depth of those words or completely understood the depth of why.

I knew I had Salvation and desired to draw closer to Yeshua by creating a deeper relationship. I lived giving all my love to the Lord with my heart, with my soul and with all my might.

It never dawned on me the actual reason behind that effort; I never questioned why I just believed and committed to it, believing I was fighting the good fight. When in reality, I was like those in the games who fought with each other who prepared themselves by beating the air, Paul says there is no room for such exercise in the Christian warfare. He points out Christians are ever in close combat. Our enemies make fierce and hearty opposition and are always at hand.

Isaiah made it quite clear there is a highway that can be travelled on, but only those who are fully committed to God can travel “The Way of Holiness.” Yeshua spells out what alternative route is available for those who can’t or won’t move. “The Way of Holiness” is quite evident in Matt.7:13 Enter ye at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat.

We have a choice about which route we want to follow. For some, the broad path will be their choice because they have stopped working on their Salvation (distracted), others are not entirely committed, and for many, they just don’t believe.

What the Holy Spirit revealed there will be some who believe they are on the narrow path but, in reality, are on the broadway as they go forward in delusional false teachings.

Earlier I had eluded to the fact, I believe Isaiah was defining, how we could travel the narrow path which Yeshua described, and as well revealed why many do not travel this road, “the unclean shall not Passover it.” Now Yeshua’s words “and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be to find it” is beginning to make sense.

It isn’t easy to find this road, but once you do to travel it, you must be of an obedient nature following God’s Laws. Suddenly His love for us is like a flashing neon sign showing us, “here is the path to Life” it’s your choice to travel it.

But recognize there’s a huge commitment, one that must be fulfilled right until we pass into Eternity. Isaiah spelled it out the “unclean shall not Passover it.”

Here is the reason God called us to follow His laws (Ten Commandments as a template to eternal life) and fulfilling the challenge to obtain the Crown of Eternal life. Are you up to it? Note Isaiah said the unclean; I take that to mean those who are not always working to deepen their Salvation and develop a personal relationship with Yeshua, who is the only way unto life.

The words work out your Salvation are now becoming even clearer. Paul’s efforts to work on his Salvation even though he was an Apostle make sense. You cannot, for one moment, believe that your position in heaven is ever guaranteed.

The Crown of Eternal life is there for those who are willing to earn it through obedience to our Father’s call to live in His laws (Ten Commandments as a template). Happy am I that I heard the Holy Spirit sound God’s Call to Return to His Laws and, as a Watchman, sound the Trumpet about God’s Call to Return.

CLOSING COMMENTS by Robert

Having placed my foot into Yeshua’s footprint and having the Holy Spirit reveal this Truth about his sacrifice. It guaranteed I have Salvation and, as a reborn spirit, can live under Salvation. While working out my Salvation, the Holy Spirit offers an opportunity to receive a heavenly prize of an Eternal crown and guidance by the Holy Spirit to find the narrow path which leads to Eternal life with Yeshua.

Revealing just how much work lies ahead and what perils and hardships we are going to encounter and face.  “Remember, I said he was taking the kid gloves off.” “Well, they are off.”

“However,” there’s a feeling of peace, anticipated joy, and a sense of satisfaction. The Holy Spirit has opened my eyes as the past months have been a preparation period. So I would be prepared for what I’ve learned about the work involved to receive Eternal life and how much determination and use of my will it’s going to take. How many changes there must be in my life and personal walk and commitment to Yeshua.

The Holy Spirit is about to show me what I didn’t know about my walk and what I didn’t realize I had blindly accepted. He is revealing a gap between Yeshua and Christians.

However, the Holy Spirit is also revealing that gap being closed, by using the discernment. He has brought to us over the last months, connecting it to our discernment and then applying it to those areas of our life and walk he is revealing which need His and our attention.

Paul outlines the dangers of yielding to fleshly inclinations and pampering the Body and its lusts and appetites. He explains we need a Holy fear of ourselves and not presumptuous confidence, is the best security against apostasy from God, and final rejection by Him. As well as defining what Isaiah meant about “unclean”  now work out your Salvation is becoming clearly defined.

To those who would win the Crown, Paul gives these directions:

  1. Be Temperate: Temperance must be continuous as well as complete. One day’s debauch was enough to undo the result of weeks during which the athlete had carefully attended to the rules prescribed. In comparison, one fraud spoils the character for honesty, which years of upright living have earned. Beware then of giving place to the world or the flesh at any point. Recognize that if you are to succeed in winning eternal life, all the spiritual energy discernment, understanding and wisdom you can command will regularly be required. You can’t be striking empty air; your blows must be sufficient at all times, keeping the Body under submission.
  2. Be Decided: To be among those who win as well as among those who run, we must know where we are going, and be quite sure we mean to be there. We have all some idea of what God offers and calls for. No man can run straight to a will-o’-the wisp. We must count the cost and see clearly what we are to gain and what we must lose by making for the incorruptible prize. We must be resolved to win and have no thought of defeat, of failure, of doing something better. It is the absence of deliberate choice and reasonable decision, which causes such “uncertain” running on the part of many who profess to be in the race. Paul set a personal example for us to live in the world but continue in the competition by not pursuing comfort, money, respect, position, but to seek first the Kingdom of God. Like Paul, we are to know where we are going and to what all our efforts tended. Paul shows every life is unsatisfactory until its owner has made up his mind what he means to do with it until governed by a conceived and firmly held aim. Then it flies like the arrow to its mark. He cautions we should not seek after worldly wisdom, which will lead us to foolishness and the broad way to destruction.
  3. Be in Earnest: In most Christian people, there is an enormous expenditure of thought and of feeling about sin; their spirit is probably more expended in the shape of shame, compunction, penitence, resolve, self-restraint, watchfulness, prayer. All this, were it brought directly to bear on some definite object, would produce a significant effect, but in many cases, no good whatever seems to result. Paul’s thoughts are the reason may be that there remains in the heart some reluctance entirely to kill and put an end to sin, to beat all the life out of it. The soul and life of every sin are some lust of our own, and while quite anxious to put an end to some of the evils this passion produces in our life, we may not be prepared to extinguish the desire itself. We pray God, for example, to preserve us from the evils of praise or of success, and yet we continue to court praise and success. We are unable to sacrifice the pleasure for the sake of safety. Therefore our warfare against sin becomes unreal.  Paul’s thoughts here reveal how victory will be accomplished by coming to the realization our Body is the real enemy instead of being his servant, it has become his master. The proper function of the Body is to serve the will to bring the inner man into contact with the outer world and enable him to influence it. Paul reveals when his Body presumed to dictate to his spirit and demand comforts and indulgences, and shrank from hardship; he beat it down. The word he uses is a powerful one: “I keep under”; it is a technical term of the games, and means to strike full in the face. It was the word used of the most damaging blow one boxer could give another. This unmerciful, overpowering blow Paul dealt his Body, resisting its assaults and making it helpless to tempt him. He thus brought it into subjection, made it his slave, as the winner in some of the games had a right to carry the vanquished into slavery.

CLOSING PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I lay before your Throne the gratefulness of those who have prospered from your teachings. I ask Father at this time for your blessings to be upon them and further strengthening their resolve to bring their bodies into submission.

I lay a further plea Father for your wisdom to flow over them, Lord bringing further recognition of the journey ahead as we follow your Son Yeshua’s footsteps. I pray in the name of Yeshua Amen and Amen.

Remember, I am only a humble servant of Yeshua doing His bidding as a messenger. In doing the research for this writing, I must admit I have been spiritually convicted and pray this message will do the same for you. Working out my Salvation has taken on a very new meaning and purpose. I want to walk on Isaiah’s “THE WAY OF HOLINESS.,” which is entirely up to me, so I submit this challenge to those who are reading these writings to desire the same a place on the narrow road. God’s blessings and strength be with you all.

TRUTH WILL BE EVIL, LIES WILL BE TRUTH!

Children of Yeshua it has been a while since the Father has through the Holy Spirit brought His words upon me. We find ourselves in a mixed-up world having North Korea aggressively threatening war, parts of the Middle East in full rebellion and several Islamic sects causing worldly Terrorism. There is unrest and division in North America as we have a weak leader in Canada and a strong President in the USA. There are Riots in parts of South America and generally unrest fear and uncertainty throughout the world an uneasiness not understood but recognized.

We hear daily of Christians being martyred by Isis bombings as acts of Terrorism in several different parts of the world. It has become apparent why our Father Military 32Yahuweh has been calling His children back to His word and teachings, calling us out of the Worldly churches and their mediocre teachings. Movements are permeating the worldly churches, and our society is sliding into evil through many delusions and precepts.  I am sorrowed and troubled that so many our Father has and is now calling out to as Matthew Henry put it are “Enemies of the Gospel” in his commentary of Apostle Paul in Romans 9:1. As did Paul state to the Gentiles “I state the truth in Christ” so am I relating to all who will read this warning which was given to me by the “Holy Spirit”.

I now understand why my complete apprehension, great sorrow, and heaviness which has been filling me spiritually and emotionally these past months while I prayed and meditated on the content of this message and how to deliver it.

This message has come to me over the past months in parts to be discerned and shared to all, some who may not be prepared to hear the “Trumpeter’s Call.” Who are God’s children? How do we receive the “blessing of Abraham”? Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the Law, being made a curse for us: Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree Gal.3:13 so we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. For after Faith comes, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. For ye are all the children of God by Faith in Yeshua. Gal.3:25-26. Please, I see as the Apostle did in Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female, for ye are all one in Yeshua.

Knowing there are unbelievers among many who have received the Spirit of Christ through faith recognized the blessings of Abraham and now know of God’s covenants and His Laws. Greetings to all and to all I offer this prayer before you embark on this journey.

OPENING PRAYER by Robert

Heavenly Father I come before you in humility thanking you for the words you ANGELS WITH TRUMPETShave inspired me to share with your children. I ask Father you rain discernment unto all so they may know understand and share what they have gleaned from your warning. I pray you will fill their spirit with determination and fervour to stand against whatever evil presents itself. I further pray Father you will send the Holy Spirit to nurture and strengthen their minds that it might reflect your light into this dark world as a Beacon. Through the discernment bring knowledge for sharing as those who are drawn to their light may come to you through that experience and example. I pray, this Father in your name and in the name of Yeshua  Amen and Amen.

“THE SOUNDING OF THE TRUMPET”

TTRUMPET 15he message begins with an earnest question many will not desire to hear or discern once heard. Because of the times, we now live in, what our Father is showing will bring a deeper understanding of the need for a firm, solid foundation.

Our World is being enveloped in a translucent cloud dimming our daily light making surroundings not as brilliant and within the cloud our times very perilous both physically and spiritually. Yeshua has made several attempts to warn His children of impending doom many have ignored each. There is talk in the Christian world, as we know it in the Western Hemisphere. God has something big coming for all believers and unbelievers.

Yet there is little change in the walks of many who believe they are following the teachings of Yeshua. If this sounds Judgmental it is, and it is meant to be, if you are offended by it then perhaps you need to take a closer look at your walk. Ask yourself how much complacency has crept into it? How much overconfidence and swagger has become your daily walk. Ask this question “Am I following Yeshua for Him or for me”? Am I an example drawing others to Yeshua or to my walk as I go forward?

Yahweh through the Holy Spirit showed me I need to place the following question before His children. However, before I do, I wish to set the stage for all to know why this issue is being brought forward. I was shown in the book of 1Kings and in those verses the life of the Prophet Elijah, “one of the greatest Prophets in Scripture.” Elijah’s walk and obedience drew him so close to God “he did not die” “he was raised into heaven by a whirlwind.”

Why is this so important for today’s children of God, what significance does it have to us? Once you gain the question posed for all to see and discern you will hopefully understand.

MIAMI 52Yahewa’s past calls to His Children “come back to His teachings, to get out of the worldly walks and churches” have gone unheard and unheeded. This is where what I am about to relate is going to challenge many and call upon their ability to discern how the previous messages and worldly events were connected for God’s children to know it was He calling out to them through those events.

In 1Kings we are shown Ahab and Jezebel were persecuting God’s Prophets in the DEVIL 08name of Baal. How does this correlate to our modern times? I am asking all to use their discernment of our times recognize in comparison believers in Yahewa, and Yeshua are similarly being sought out and persecuted in the name of the modern-day Baal. Who presents several different forms of worship for his followers to worship. One is in the name of The Goddess Gaia Mother of the World. This movement is using Islam and environmentalism among many other platforms for the masses to fall under its doctrines and delusions. Yahweh through the Holy Spirit has instructed me to specifically focus on a particular sector of this movement as its deceptions have captured the minds and souls of multitudes of Yeshua’s followers.

The subtlety of this movement is what makes it so appealing to all who are caught up in its Delusions. The deception appears as a warning of impending doom. It is based on supposed scientific information. Once those within the delusion surrounding the GAIA movement; precisely the illusion of Global Warming (now referred to as Climate Change) are revealed and understood the warning of the message will be revealed.

ELIJAH & ALTARThe Lord Yeshua is making an appeal to His children however it is in a different manner He is asking all non-believer and believers to make a choice of who they are going to follow. (THE MESSAGE) In 1Kings 18;21 And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? If the Lord be God, follow Him: but if Baal,  follow him. And the people answered him not a word.

Here is where I must bring in the comparison because what I just wrote in the previous paragraph is the question being asked of you and all of those who would read this warning, believer or non-believer.

We are being requested to measure our walk know who we are following and make a choice one or the other there is no middle ground it is either Yeshua or Gaia Mother of The World the modern-day Baal disguised as Global Warming or Climate Change. So looking at what Elijah gave to the people of his time, it becomes apparent Yeshua is looking for a firm decision on who it is we are going to follow Yeshua or Baal and be fervently committed to that choice. There is no middle you cannot sit on the fence or walk-in both it is time for a faithful walk.

https://romboughrobert.wordpress.com/2016/12/01/is-climate-change-a-religion-or-movement/?iframe=true&preview=true&calypso_token=de80c9f5-793d-4cb6-734a7ff3fa4d396b

The warning relates if with Yeshua we must follow God’s will, God’s laws, without exception without adding humanism to them. It is humanism that has drawn multitudes into error and delusions.

Scan_20180701The belief that we can stand before God and argue to alter the consequences of His laws through human compassion for the souls of those who choose to live outside of those laws is now in question. Many refer to how Abraham stood before God and pleaded to save Sodom and Gomorrah as their secular argument slanted to their compassionate pleas. As Abraham spoke, God said if you can find ten righteous among them, I will spare them all, we know the consequences of that appeal.

This warning shows how important we need to take this advice and decide where we stand within God’s laws and measure our walk within those laws. Understand God’s laws are for eternity and the consequences meted out for breaking those laws is no different today than it was in the beginning.

Yes, God is a Loving God but He is also a Chaise God and as a Loving God now warning us to, in the days ahead, know His laws and walk within those laws only, lest we fall into the chastening, which is ahead for those following Baal.

In His teachings, Matt 7:13 we are shown where we need to enter the strait gate (knowing our position in God’s Laws). For the gate is wide and broad is the way that leads to destruction (the walk for those who chose not to heed). For many will enter into the wide gate and go forth in delusion not having made their choice.

TEN COMMANDMENTSGod’s Laws? Do they apply to the New Testament, this is the question all will need to discern personally, as no one can answer this for you. Scriptures tell us in Exodus 18:20 And thou shalt teach them ordinances and laws and shalt shew them the way wherein they must walk, and the work that they must do.

We recognize in Hebrew 10:16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts and in their minds will I write them; The basics of these would be the Ten Commandments.

The basics of God’s Law to follow and use as the basis of our lives would be the Ten cropped-sky-space-dark-galaxyCommandments. While we learn through a personal relationship with Yeshua how to daily walk in His footsteps which draw us closer to Yeshua and ultimately Yahewa our Father in heaven.

According to Hebrews, we know that God has finished what He promised and thus now because He has kept His word now it is our responsibility to know and follow them accordingly while in Salvation. If we choose not to follow those gifts we are reminded in Ephesians 2:12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Isreal, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world;

SHEPHERD 4Remember this is just a humble servant doing our Lord’s bidding being a “Watchman” delivering messages bringing warnings. What you do with them is your choice. What comes from it will depend on you. I ask our Father to rain blessings on all. The following is a direct message from Yeshua. And he said unto them, “Ye are they which justify yourselves before men, but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God.” Luke 16:15

“OBEDIENCE” “WHERE, ARE YOU IN IT?”

MONEY 2
“Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death or obedience unto righteousness.
Romans 6:16

PRE-AMBLE by Robert

These articles like a puzzle bring together multiple bits and pieces of spiritual information, for all to use as assessments of where they stand in their personal relationship with our Father (God) and His Son (Yeshua). Interestingly enough as I have researched each article, I’m recognizing my life and walk are being affected as it should be. What I am researching now is showing me I have taken too much time concerning myself with the events occurring in this SHEPHERD 3world both economically and politically. However, as our Lord put it in Matthew 6:27 and I know I am not alone in this, small stumble, because I have heard, “but it’s human, that you care about the things we are living with these days.” In answer, “Yeshua,” through the Holy Spirit gently pointed me to this: “Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? V:27 “Very humbling!”

In this article, we will learn what Our Lord Yeshua meant by these words. We will be shown what our real walk with Him should be. But as well what lies ahead for those who do listen, learn, and walk in obedience to His teachings through the Holy Spirit. What lies ahead will assuredly bring disturbing information, but rightfully, needed to effect correction within our reasoning and our genuine commitment we recognize as Obedience. The Holy Spirit has some eye-opening soul-shaking lessons in store as we move forward in our walk on the narrow path.

OPENING PRAYER by Robert.

HOLY SPIRITHeavenly Father reveal to us, what we need to understand to be in your presence now and in eternity. We know Lord the unrighteous shall not be there, explain to us Father our position in your eyes. We know Lord we are not to be deceived or commit grievous acts fornication, idolatries, or abuse of ourselves in any manner or those within our world and lives, nor should we be drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners. Bring us your divine knowledge so we might fight these temptations. Strengthen us Lord so we might walk in your light and your name. Share with us Father a deep spirit of seeking wisdom to acknowledge being obedient to your calling us to follow your laws. We pray this in your name Yeshua, Amen and Amen.

OPENING STATEMENT by Robert

JESUS 13There is scarcely any one sin against which our Lord Yeshua more largely and earnestly warned His disciples. Or against which he armed them with more variety of arguments than the sin of disquieting, distracting, and distrustful cares about the things of life, which are a bad sign, both the treasure and the heart are on worldly events.

We hear from John Gill (1697 – 1771) some pointed comments “Which of you by taking thought, As Yeshua argued before, from the unnecessariness of anxious thoughts and cares, about the provisions of life, so here, from the unprofitableness of them, it is impossible for a man, with all his care and thought, to add one cubit unto his stature. Or “to his age,” so the word is rendered (John 9:21) to the days of his life, he is so solicitous about.” Just a quick note here according to (Misn. Erubim, c 4. sect. 5. & Negaim, c. 13. sect. 11. Bartenora) The stature of an ordinary man is three cubits.  Taking into consideration this measure was first used in the 14th Century, it was based on the length of the forearm from the middle finger and usually equal to about 18 inches (46 Centimeters). [Merriam-Webster Dictionary].

The sense of the word is this, that no man, by all the care and thought he could make use of, is ever able to add one cubit or the least measure to his days, he cannot lengthen out his life one year, one month, one day, one hour, no, not one moment.

The commentary as mentioned earlier shows we should take no thought for our life. Not about the length of it; but refer it to God to lengthen or shorten as he IMG_-8hk1vz-1.jpgpleases; recognize our times are in his hands, and in good hands they are. We should not fret about the comforts of this life, but leave it to God to make it bitter or sweet as he pleases.

It is here where there is a form of separation of those who are awakened in the spirit and those who remain idle and indifferent. When the Lord declared “The Kingdom of Heaven is at Hand,” The Apostle Matthew reported; Yeshua went up into the mountain, “perhaps” for the purpose of   selecting His audience, The idle and indifferent would stay down on the plain, only those who were in some measure stirred in spirit would follow Him. As Yeshua climbed the steep ascent from the shore of the lake to the plateau above and in their minds they would in all probability be revolving around such questions as these: 1).”What is this kingdom, what advantages does it offer, and who are the people that belong to it? 2). What is required of those that belong to it? What are its laws and obligations?” And if these two questions were answered satisfactorily, a third would naturally follow. 3). “How may those who desire to share its privileges and assume its obligations become citizens of it?” These accordingly, are the three great questions dealt with in succession.

In correlation with the three questions, we researched what Matthew Henry (1662 – 1774) had to say about obedience and how it affects our walk and well being and fits within the first question:  Food and raiment God has promised. Therefore JESUS 05we may expect them. Take no thought for the morrow, for the time to come. Be not anxious for the future, how you shall live next year, or when you are old, or what you shall leave behind you. As we must not boast of tomorrow, so we must not care for tomorrow or the events of it. God has given us life and has given us the body. And what can he not do for us, who did that? If we take care of our souls and for eternity, which is more than the body and its life, we may leave it to God to provide for us food and clothing, which are less. Improve this as an encouragement to trust in God.

We must reconcile ourselves to our worldly condition, as we do to our stature. We cannot alter the disposals of Providence. Therefore we muMIRACLE OF BREAD & FISHES 1st submit and resign ourselves to them. Thoughtfulness for our souls is the best cure for the indulgence of worldly possessions. Seek first the kingdom of God, and make belief in Yeshua your business: say not this is the way to starve; no, it is the way to be well provided for, even in this world. The conclusion of the whole matter is, this is the will and command of our Lord Yeshua, by daily prayers, we will gain strength to lift us up under our daily travails and arm us against the temptations which accompany them, and then let none tempt us. Joyous are those who take the Lord for their God, and make the full witness of it through trusting themselves wholly to his wise disposal. Let your Spirit convince you of sinCANDY 004 in the desire of this disposition, and remove the worldliness from your heart. I refer you back to the Article published September 13, 2018, “IS CONTENTMENT YOUR GAIN?” “Every sort of wickedness and vice, in one way or another, grows from the love of money.”

Through his commentary Matthew Henry (1662 – 1774) reveals what to be wary of: Our Lord next warned against hypocrisy and outward show in religious duties. What we do, must be done from an inward principle, that we may be approved of PEOPLE 7God, not that we may be praised by men. In these verses, we are cautioned against hypocrisy in giving alms. Take heed of it. It is a subtle sin; and vain-glory creeps into what we do, before we are aware. But the duty is not the less necessary and excellent for being abused by hypocrites to serve their pride. The doom Yeshua passes, at first, may seem a promise, but it is their reward; not the reward God promises to those who do good, but the reward hypocrites promise themselves, and a poor reward it is; they did it to be seen of men, and they are seen of men. When we take the least notice of our good deeds ourselves, God takes most notice of them. He will reward thee; not as a master who gives his servant what he earns, and no more, but as a Father who gives abundantly to his son that serves him.

It is taken for granted that all who are disciples of Christ pray. You may as soon find a living man that does not breathe, as a living Believer who does not pray. If prayerless, then graceless. The Scribes and Pharisees were guilty of two great faults in prayer, vain-glory, and vain repetitions. “Verily they have their reward;” if in so great a matter as is between God and us, when we are at prayer, we can look to so poor a thing as the praise of men, it is just that it should be all our reward.

Matthew Henry (1662 – 1774) relates: “Yet there is not a secret, sudden breathing after God, but he observes it. It is called a reward, but it is of grace, not of debt; what merit can there be in begging? If he does not give his people what they ask, it is because he knows they do not need it, and that it is not for their good. So far is God from being wrought upon by the length or words of our prayers, that the most powerful intercessions are those which are made with groanings that cannot be uttered. Let us well study what is shown of the frame of mind in which our prayers should be offered, and learn daily from Christ how to pray.”

Worldly-mindedness is a common and fatal symptom of hypocrisy, for by no sin can Satan have a surer and faster hold of the soul, under the cloak of a profession of religion. Something the soul will have, which it looks upon as the best thing; in MEETING 2which it has pleasure and confidence above other things. Christ counsels to make our best things the joys and glories of the other world, those things not seen which are eternal, and to place our happiness in them. There are treasures in heaven. It is our wisdom to give all diligence to make our title to eternal life sure through Yeshua, and to look on all things here below, as not worthy to be compared with it, and to be content with nothing short of it. It is happiness above and beyond the changes and chances of time, an inheritance incorruptible. The worldly man is wrong in his first principle; therefore all his reasonings and actions from that place must be faulty. It is equally to be applied to false religion; that which is deemed light is thick darkness. This is awful, but a typical case; we should therefore carefully examine our leading principles by the word of God, with earnest prayer for the teaching of his Spirit. A man may do some service to two masters, but he can devote himself to the service of no more than one. God requires the whole heart, and will not share it with the world. When two masters oppose each other, no man can serve both. He who holds to the world and loves it must despise God; he who loves God must give up the friendship of the world.

Matthew Henry (1662 – 1774) encourages us to pray and states how we should approach it: Prayer is the appointed means for obtaining what we need. Pray; pray ELISHA & ELIJAHoften; make a business of prayer, and be serious and earnest in it. Ask, as a beggar asks alms. Ask, as a traveler asks the way. Seek, as for a thing of value that we have lost; or as the merchantman that seeks goodly pearls. Knock, as he that desires to enter into the house knocks at the door. Sin has shut and barred the door against us; by prayer, we knock. Whatever you pray for, according to the promise, shall be given you, if God sees it fit for you, and what would you have more? This is made to apply to all that pray aright; every one that asketh receiveth, whether Jew or Gentile, young or old, rich or poor, high or low, master or servant, learned or unlearned, all are alike welcome to the throne of grace, if they come in faith. It is explained by a comparison taken from earthly parents, and their readiness to give their children what they ask. Parents are often foolishly fond, but God is all-wise; he knows what we need, what we desire, and what is fit for us. Let us never suppose our heavenly Father would bid us pray, and then refuse to hear, or give us what would be hurtful.

Nothing so much prevents men from entering the strait gate, and becoming true followers of Yeshua, as the carnal, soothing, flattering doctrines of those who oppose the truth. They may be known by the drift and effects of their theories. Some part of their temper and conduct is contrary to the mind of Christ. Those opinions come not from God that lead to sin.

CLOSING STATEMENT by Robert

I don’t think it could be any clearer what we are able to gain through true faith. What I am taking away from this research on a personal level is the following Scan_20180701three things “ASK,” “SEEK,” “KNOCK.” Yeshua knocks at our door (Rev.3:20, Song of Solomon 5:2) and allows us to knock at His, which is a favor we do not allow common beggars. What I am seeing is seeking and knocking imply something more than asking and praying. We must not only ask but seek, we must second our prayers with our endeavors we must, in the use of the appointed means, seek for that which we ask for, else we tempt God.

God gives knowledge and grace to those that search the scriptures, and wait at Wisdom’s gates and power against sin. We must not only ask but knock we must come to God’s door, must ask importunately not only pray but plead and wrestle with God we must seek diligently we must continue knocking must persevere in prayer, and in the use of means must endure to the end in the duty. The precept is threefold, ask, seek, knock there is precept upon precept, but the promise is sixfold, line upon line for our encouragement because a firm belief of the promise would make us cheerful and constant in our obedience.

CLOSING PRAYER by Robert

JACOB'S LADDER 1Heavenly Father we are so thankful Lord for your promise to hear our prayer and answer according to your will. You told us Lord ask and you shall receive, you ask us to seek, and we shall find. We have sought you Lord and found you each time and give praise for you being there Father. You tell us to knock, and the door will be opened the door of mercy and grace thank you Lord for those gifts. We thank you, Father, for all things promised and received through faith. This we Pray in the name of Yeshua, Amen, and Amen.

Remember these messages come from an obedient, “Watchmen” sounding the horn about an evil. We come to God as children to a Father in Heaven, with reverence and confidence. How naturally does a child in want or distress run to the Father with its complaints? Thus should the new nature send us to God for supports and supplies.

May our Father bless and keep you well as our journey continues.

“MY SILENT COMPANION!”

CLOUDS & SKY 017

Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death or of obedience unto righteousness? But God is thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness. (Romans 6:16- 18)
Our Lord laid not his life down for his doctrine, but for his sheep.” Matthew Henry (1662 -1774) commentary John 10.

PRE-AMBLE by Robert

As my journey leads me along the narrow path through this life a sense of peace has come over me, and I now recognize I’m not alone. My stride is sure, wp-15773560744009182538162794039843.jpgdemonstrating confidence but not an arrogant strut. It shows determination supported by knowledge, wisdom, and discernment received from the Holy Spirit to arrive at the destination of Eternal Life and peace. John 14:26

I am praying for guidance and protection constantly never taking anything for granted as I realize my journey is taking me through a war zone. I have included this link as background support. https://romboughrobert.wordpress.com/2018/02/14/yea-though-i-walk-through-the-valley-of-death/

My question, will I be an essential companion as I journey? Then I pondered, am I going to be worthy of travelling with this companion? I know there are only a few who will recognize who my companion is, and why He continues being at my side, even though I am a constant challenge to Him. What comes to mind is a quote from my latest article “GET BEHIND ME SATAN” published June 14, 2018, What many don’t realize the disciples committed many mistakes and were guilty of weaknesses, they were defective in their duty.

They were very dull and forgetful. And often blundered. Yet their master passes all by and forgets it, he does not upbraid them with their infirmities, but gives them this memorable testimonial, “You are they who have continued with me.” Thus does he praise at parting, to show how willing he is to make the best of those whose hearts he knows to be upright with him.

I now understand why the peacefulness is in my life, even though I’m surrounded by turmoil, unrest, and despair, among those I’m reaching out too. What comes to me is, Yeshua, as my companion is revealing how to be as He is, as an unseen companion. Who has lit the way to freedom, then align’s himself behind the scenes as a spiritual mentor and ongoing guide, through the Holy Spirit, as a messenger to those journeying through life, as Pilgrims, on the narrow path? “Thus does he praise at parting, to show how willing he is to make the best of those whose hearts he knows to be upright with him.”

OPENING PRAYER by Robert

Father in heaven hear my prayers as I lay your servants before your throne. I ask you, Lord, as an unseen companion, to raise your children up when they might DESERT 18stumble and fall. To Be there as our Father when times are filled with turmoil, but more than anything Lord show your children the depth of your love and compassion as you journey with them. In little ways, Father let them, sense or feel your presence as they go forward in your name searching for that one lost soul.

So they might be filled with the confidence they are covered and blessed. Bring them before your throne, Lord, so they might witness your reflection and recognize what a silent companion is to them, a shepherd tending his flock. We pray in your name Yeshua Amen and Amen.

OPENING STATEMENT by Robert.

The Holy Spirit brought me to John 10 to understand what my silent companion is offering and if I chose to follow in His footsteps, and what would be expected of me to offer as a silent companion. In John10 Matthew Henry (1662 -1774) explains how Yeshua reveals His walk, for those who desire to follow in His footsteps. “Our Lord laid not his life down for his doctrine, but for his sheep. He described the gracious disposition and happy state of his sheep; they heard and believed his word, followed him as his faithful disciples, and none of them should perish; for the Son and the Father were one. Thus he was able to defend his sheep against all their enemies, which proves that he claimed Divine power and perfection equally with the Father.

No weapon formed against our Lord Yeshua shall prosper. He escaped, not because he was afraid to suffer, but because his hour has not come. And He who knew how to deliver himself knows how to deliver the godly out of their temptations, and to make a way for them to escape. PEOPLE 502

Here is a parable or similitude, from the customs of the East, in the management of sheep. Men, as creatures depending on their Creator, are called the sheep of his pasture. The Assembly of God in the world is as a sheep-fold, exposed to deceivers and persecutors. The great Shepherd of the sheep knows all that is his, guards them by his providence, guides them by his Spirit and word, and goes before them, as the Eastern shepherds went before their sheep, to set them in the way of his steps. Shepherds must serve the sheep in their spiritual concerns. The Spirit of Christ will set before them an open door. The sheep of Yeshua will observe their Shepherd, and be cautious and shy of strangers, who would draw them from faith in him to fancies about him. I provide this link for the additional understanding of the dangers: https://romboughrobert.wordpress.com/2018/06/14/get-behind-me-satan/PARABLE OF THE SOWER

Many who hear the words of Yeshua, do not understand it, because they can not. But we shall find one scripture expounding another, and the blessed Spirit making known the blessed Saviour. Yeshua is the Door. And what greater security has the Assembly of God than that Yeshua is between it and all its enemies? He is a door open for passage and communication. Here are plain directions how to come into the fold; we must come in by Yeshua. By faith in him as the great Mediator between God and man. Also, we have precious promises to those that observe this direction. Yeshua has all that care of his Assembly, and every believer, which a good shepherd has of his flock; and he expects the Assembly, and every believer, to wait on him, and to keep in his pasture.

Adam Clarke (1760 -1832) through his comments on John10:9 reveals what our duty as a silent companion will appear as shepherds. “Go in and out- This phrase, in the style of the Hebrews, points out all the actions of a man’s life, and the liberty he has of acting, or not acting. A good shepherd conducts his flock to the fields where good pasturage is to be found, watches over them while there, and brings them back again and secures them in the fold. So he that is taught and called of God feeds the flock with those truths of his word of grace which nourish them unto eternal life, and God blesses together both the shepherd and the sheep, so that going out and coming in they find pasture. Every occurrence is made useful to them, and all things work together for their good.

The modern-day heirlings, posing as pastors, ought to remember that whoever boasts of being the way of salvation, and the gate of heaven, shows himself to be a thief and an impostor. And though few have arrived at this degree of folly, yet there are many who rely too much upon their own talents, eloquence, and labours, as if the salvation of the sheep depend necessarily thereon.

In which respect they are always robbers since they rob the grace of Yeshua of the glory of saving the sheep. God often puts such hirelings to shame, by not opening the hearts of the people to receive their word. While he blesses those who are humble, in causing them to be heard with attention and accompanying their preaching with an unction which converts and saves souls. Let every man know that in this respect his sufficiency and success are of the Lord.

CLOSING PRAYER by Robert

Heavenly Father in all humbleness we bow before your throne filled with DOMESTICATED ANIMAL 014overwhelming gratitude for your patient teaching. Thank you, Lord, for raising us to a new level of discernment, love, and compassion. Thank you, Father, for revealing our value and worth to those who have been rescued into your flock and thank you for placing your guiding hand on us to nurture them forward as a silent companion [shepherd] having the spirit of your Son Yeshua for us to guide and nurture those in the flock as silent companions. We pray this in the name of Yeshua. Amen and Amen.

CLOSING COMMENTS by Robert

Praise God, for us having some months ago heard God’s call, to return to His ANGELS WITH TRUMPETSlaw. Too sit down and do an assessment of our walk and relationship with His Son Yeshua. A young woman queried, “Why do you teach, following Yeshua, as being so disciplined? Isn’t our walk with the Lord to be in peace and love-filled with joy and harmony not under the law, but in Salvation.

Here, we are learning how to be, as Yeshua is with us, a silent companion. How your words of prayer, in support of your newly found convert, _DSC0145-27will be answered as a blessing for both. To recognize, as you take on the role of a silent companion (shepherd); as a part of our Lord’s main flock, you’re being tended to by your silent companion Yeshua through the Holy Spirit (John 14:26), as you continue forward in your personal journey? We are being taught and guided how to endure and overcome the same hardships Yeshua faced as he proceeded to tend to His flock. We will learn our journey is filled with many potholes and pitfalls, which the silent companion guides us through as a shepherd.

You will learn what the joys are, and how to recognize them as being a part of your surroundings and walk, through the peace found in the one, you are walking with being a silent companion to them. Keep in mind the Holy Spirit 0675c02a27c0a2feed460546b0653cd9revealed in the eyes of our Lord Yeshua, our salvation would be meaningless unless it is being shared.

Get to know your peace, know where it came from and how we received it John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”  Find the strength in it, as your leading inspiration to serve.

Because you will find it usually is, a gentle nudge from Yeshua, letting you know he’s there covering your back, as your Silent Companion.  May our Father abundantly fill your plates. God’s blessings Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hands. Psalm 149:6

This picture represents the storm our stand and walks will present, but endure. As we know being a part of God’s, flock, Yeshua is with us as a silent companion, and as well the beacon of light which shines through us defeating darkness. “So we may boldly say, The Lord is my companion, and I will not fear what man shall say or do unto me.” (Hebrews 13:6)  Blessings to all and may you be filled with Yeshua’s peace, love, compassion, discernment and wisdom.
