TRUMPETER'S CALL

This message was received and first published June 28, 1993 by Robert Rombough it goes as follows I put this message into letter form and offered it as a sounding Trumpet issuing a warning. The following is an excerpt that needs to be sent out again as the Lord is pressing on me to do so.
The Lord brought me to a place (spiritually) where His word came to me “Son of Man” , thou dwellest in the midst of a rebellious house, which have eyes to see and see not; they have ears to hear, and hear not: for they are rebellious (Ezek.12:1). I have made thee a Watchman, therefore hear the word at My Mouth, and give warning from Me” (Ezek. 3:16 -22). I Say unto you, “when I bring the sword, sound the Trumpet and warn the people.”Then when they hear the trumpet and not heed the warning, if the sword come and take them away their blood shall not be upon your head”. “But if you see the sword and do not sound the Trumpet and they be not warned and the sword come and take them, then their blood will be upon your head” (Ezekiel. 33:1-9).
The message began as follows:
Over the past three years, our Spiritual Battles have deepened and become even more intense. The Lord has shown that every ministry is going to go through an intense fire. There will be a drying up of all things that are unfruitful in His eyes.
God has shown that He intends for only two remnants to remain, one Worldly and the other Godly. The worldly remnant will consist of those who have performed His commandments to the glory of self or walked with the world in their beliefs (John 8:42-43). they will be deepened in those beliefs, prospering annually as they never have before. Their churches will be filled to the brim with those looking to be entertained.
Because of this, the churches will advance even deeper into their carnal ways by turning to amalgamation (Ecumenical Movement [John 8:34- 44] in order to continue. They will openly accept and worship the gods of this world {psychology programs, environmentalism programs, and gimmicky evangelism}. Our Heavenly Father will permit these events to occur because these churches have chosen to follow false prophets and their carnality (Matt. 7:21-33; Luke 13:24-27) , rather than remain in faith, suffer in Christ’s name, and call out to God for His guidance and comfort.
What lies ahead, even for those who believe and remain in hope, is turmoil. The Lord is bringing this spiritual drought in order to purge His True Church, of the legalists, mouth professors, and glory seekers (1 Peter 2:7-8).
To survive this spiritual drought, ALL will need to draw from the deepest part of their faith (the well of living water John 4:14). Those that give the appearance of having faith will dry up and wither away quickly (the unfuitful fig tree [Luke 13:6-9] ) those who have sincere faith whether shallow or deep (1Peter 2:9;3:13) will find the Lord’s love,joy,peace,patience,gentleness,goodness,faith,meekness,and temperance (Gal.5:22-25) supporting their walk, ministry and work.
The Lord has pressed me to share this warning (2 Peter 1:19-21;1Thess.2:4) this is not a matter of personalities. It is not for my glory, but I believe it is the preparation of the saints coming together for the edifying of Christ’s Church under His Grace, Love, and Truth (Eph.4:11-16).
This spiritual drought will cause shock waves throughout Christendom, affecting the uprepared, because they are blinded by the power and authority of legalism. They will go on believing in their heart of hearts that they are serving the Lord and that their prayers are being answered but do not realize they are not doing it through Grace.
In this message, there is no judgment on any church or leader, but pray that those who have an ear to hear will hear and those who have an eye to see will see.
I pray that this message is passed on to those you believe will prosper through it. So we may all have fellowship with God the Father and His son Jesus Christ, through what we have heard declared, which is the Word of Life (1John 1:1-3) that God is light, and in Him is no darkness (1John 1:5), so if we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleaneseth us from all sin (1John1:7).

THE SECOND LESSON IN PART ONE IS TAKEN FROM MATTHEW 22:1 – 14

The Lord is revealing Himself in a very clear light, that He is the central person of the Kingdom of Heaven. I believe in this Parable the Lord is answering His opposition, but is not speaking to their verbal abuses, but is addressing the thoughts which were in their hearts.

The Lord knows men’s thoughts, for He is the discerner of them. In this Parable, the Lord’s true Royalty is seen where He is revealing Himself as the King and the King’s Son (Ps.72:1).

I recognize that the Lord made it a practice to take the subjects of His lessons from the persons who were present or from the circumstances of times, persons and places (Matt. 16:6; John 4:7-10; 6:26-27; 7:37).

Our gospel preparation is then represented as a Feast which a King would make at a marriage of His Son. We see Christ as the Groom and the Church as the bride, It is important for us to know that the gospel covenant is a marriage covenant, between Christ and His believers.

So then it is during the preparation of the marriage feast we begin to see and learn that it is through the hearing of the gospel, we hear the Kings bidding, which is an open invitation to ALL, so NONE might be EXCLUDED, except those who would choose to EXCLUDE themselves.

Knowing this is a marriage covenant, we know there will be a meal prepared. But it won’t just be a dinner, instead, it will be a Royal Wedding Feast, as it a feast prepared by the King. The feast is a Spiritual Banquet set in place for those willing to partake. We believe the menu consists of the following blessings, pardon of sin, the favor of God, peace of conscience, the promises of the gospels, the comforts of the Spirit, and a well-grounded hope of eternal life.

The warning in this Parable is not to slight the Lord’s call by indifference to our condition and assume we can just attend this Regal Banquet when we feel the time is right or suits us. We cannot take the position that it is not worth visiting, because we can feast just as well at home.

The Lord in this Parable is showing us how to measure what our response to His call has been. The question we feel should be asked, “is,” have we like those guests in the Parable taken His call lightly because other things are more important to us. Are we like those in Luke 14:18 who found land and are diverted by the fact that there is always something to look after on it; or are we like the merchant who feels he must be diligent in his business.

This Parable shows there are going to be temptations in whatever we do and should be taken as a warning that whatever we have of the World, care must be taken to keep it out of our hearts so it won’t come between the Lord and us.

We are living in troubled times, times of great temptation, times where ones true walk is going to be tested not for what it is worth but for how deep it is. The world is turning against the truth and the wisdom of the Holy Spirits teachings and guidance and the true Love of our Father. My heart grieves every day as I watch and hear how the atrocities of this world are manifesting in man’s minds and are being acted upon. Truly measure your position in our Lord do not take it for granted or be complacent with it. Be honest with yourself as you measure its true depth do not rely on Worldly teachings of the hirelings which control today’s church system. Heed the Trumpeter’s Call return to the leading of the Holy Spirit and the Scriptures let them be the food of your spirit and the true measuring stick. Hear the soundings of the many Trumpets heed their warnings as heavy darkness is coming upon us and your light is going to be tested if it shines through or is going to be smothered or possibly even extinguished.

I set this prayer before all who hear the Trumpet

Father our Lord and protector hear this prayer for those who hear your call to return to your teachings fill them with the Holy Spirit Father that he may deepen their discernment and become brighter lights so those lost in the deepening darkness falling upon us, will become the light on the mountain guiding those seeking your will and compassion will find your comfort again, I pray, Father, for the strengthening of the few who hear that they may be protected and filled with a spirit of hope that emanates out as your light of guidance and protection I pray in your name Yahweh Amen and Amen

In 1993 the Lord pressed on my heart as His “WATCHMAN” to sound the “TRUMPET” and deliver His message calling His children to return to His teachings. The following is that specific message Titled “SIGNS and PERSECUTIONS” and was delivered as three separate lessons which our peers received as delivered but sadly was refuted by their leaders, elders, teachers and Pastors as they did not believe this time was at hand. I write these messages as a servant of our Lord Yeshua and His messenger who is not passing any judgment on any church or individual.

Due to the seriousness of our current events our Father has been pressing on my heart as a “WATCHMAN” to once again sound the “TRUMPET” and  re-deliver the three lessons as a warning, and as well deliver a new warning to His children which he has been pressing on me for some time. Initially I was not able to interpret it until recently. Once I have re-delivered the “SIGNS AND PERSECUTIONS” lessons I will present the new message as a “WATCHMAN”  sounding  the “TRUMPET”  heralding a new Call and warning to His Children to return to His teachings and walk.

The first SOUNDING OF THE “TRUMPET” Calling His Children Back to Him was delivered as a lesson in 1993 as follows:

From Matthew 24:32. 33 & 35

In verse 32 the Lord is comparing us to a fig tree whose branches are yet young and putting forth leaves, He is drawing our attention to the fact that the events which are about to take place were predicted and will come to pass. The parable is revealing God has begun His work by preparing our hearts to receive this knowledge and will continue doing His work.

In verse 33 through the parable we can recognize the practical application of the foretold predictions because knowing that the Kingdom of God is near we must expect and prepare for these events. The Lord clearly states this generation will not pass till these events have been fulfilled.

Some believe this to mean the ruin of the Jewish nation, some believe it to mean the whole would be fulfilled within the limits of the generation then current, others believe it to mean the generation then existing would not pass away without seeing a begun fulfillment, one thing we know the facts correspond no matter what is believed.

In verse 35 Christ is assuring us of the certainty of these events when He states “Heaven and Earth shall pass away; but my words shall not pass away”. Which we believe is the strongest possible expression of the divine authority by which Christ spoke these words. So in knowing this information we turn to the parable of the Ten Virgins in Matthew 25: 1-13 to what depth our preparation should be.

The Lord uses the analogy of a Jewish marriage where it is sometimes a custom that the Groom would come, accompanied by friends late in the night to the house of the Bride where she expected him accompanied by her bridesmaids; who upon notice given of the grooms approach, were to go out with lamps in their hands, to light him into the house with ceremony and formality in order to celebrate the nuptials with great joyousness.

We see that in this parable the bride does not come into view at all, it is the Virgins and the Groom. The groom being the Lord Jesus Christ and the virgins, those who profess to be members of the church and represent themselves as her companions.

This brings us to the first indication of what it is we are to be doing in order to meet the Groom. We recognize that in order to meet Him we need to be children of light (attendants upon Christ) to do Him honor. The second point is to be always ready for His second coming so we might like the brides attendants go forth with our lights shining to attend the Groom, thus doing Him honour  and service.

In Matthew 25: 2 we see our Lord revealing there are those of the same profession and denomination who may be vastly different characters in the sight of God. He reveals this when He points out that five of the
Ten Virgins are wise and five are foolish. We must note here the Lord does not label them good or bad (Matt. 7:25-27).

In Matthew 25:3 we are given an opportunity to learn what the lamp and oil represent. Through the actions of the wise virgins we are able to ascertain the lamps represent our profession of being a child of light waiting to attend the Lord.

We are able to determine through the foolish virgins lack of preparation that the oil represents the actual existence of “grace within”, which alone would stand at the Lords coming. So we see this supply of oil representing the “supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ” which as it is the source of the new spiritual life at the first, it is also the secret of its enduring character. It is the possession of this oil which makes “the wise” to be “ready” for the arrival of the Groom and fit “to go in with Him to the marriage”

We believe it shows the foolish are lacking righteousness and are holding a lamp of profession but do not have in their hearts what is necessary to carry them through the labour and trials which they are about to face. It shows they have no prospect of nor have made provision  for what is to come. The Lamps they hold are for show, and they themselves lack oil for later use (1 Timothy 6:19, note: oil cannot re-light a lamp that has gone out but will keep it burning)

We believe grace is the oil which we must have while the Groom tarried. We also hear a caution that we do not look at things as they are complete or are about to become complete, it only appears that Christ seems to tarry yet He really does not. This is a warning which we should pay particular attention too. Even though it appears the Lord is tarrying past our time, we must remember, He will not tarry past the due time.

So the caution is for us not to grow careless and forgetful of what it is we are waiting to attend to. It is here we see the true value of the parable of the Fig Tree. As the Lord has awakened our hearts to the knowledge He has begun His work and will continue it. We also are brought  to the understanding Christ will come when He pleases to show His sovereignty and will not let us know when, in order to teach us what our duty is.

That duty being our willingness to prepare ourselves to be attendants ready to welcome Him at His arrival. This speaks of an actual preparation for the Groom’s coming, even for those who are prepared for death. It warns we must all be continuously searching our hearts for a vain confidence, or conceit of goodness of our state, and our readiness for another world.
