ALL THE LABOUR OF MAN IS FOR HIS MOUTH!

OPENING COMMENT

Wisdom is as good as an inheritance, yea better. It shelters from the storms and scorching heat of trouble. Wealth will not lengthen out the natural life, but true wisdom will give spiritual life, and strengthen men for services under their sufferings.

Let us look upon the disposal of our condition as the work of God, and at last, all will appear to have been for the best. In acts of righteousness, be not carried into heats or passions, no, not by a zeal for God.

Be not conceited of thine own abilities; nor find fault with everything, nor busy thyself in other men’s matters. Many who will not be wrought upon by the fear of God, and the dread of hell, will avoid sins which ruin their health and estate and expose to public justice.

But those that truly fear God, have but one end to serve, therefore act steadily. If we say we have not sinned, we deceive ourselves. Every true believer is ready to say, God is merciful to me a sinner.

Forget not at the same time, that personal righteousness, walking in newness of life, is the only real evidence of an interest by faith in the righteousness of the Redeemer.

Wisdom teaches us not to be quick in resenting affronts. Be not desirous to know what people say; if they speak well of thee, it will feed thy pride, if ill, it will stir up thy passion.

See that thou approve thyself to God and thine own conscience, and then heed not what men say of thee; it is easier to pass by twenty affronts than to avenge one. When any harm is done to us, examine whether we have not done as bad to others.

CLOSING OBSERVATION

A man often has all he needs for outward enjoyment; yet the Lord leaves him so to covetousness or evil dispositions, that he makes no good or comfortable use of what he has.

A numerous family was a matter of fond desire and of high honour among the Hebrews; and long life is the desire of mankind in general.

A little will serve to sustain us comfortably, and a great deal can do no more. The desires of the soul find nothing in the wealth of the world to give satisfaction.

The poor man has comfort as well as the richest and is under no real disadvantage. We cannot say, Better is the sight of the eyes than the resting of the soul in God; for it is better to live by faith in things to come, than to live by sense, which dwells only upon present things. Our lot is appointed. We have what pleases God and let that please us.

The greatest possessions and honours cannot set us above the common events of human life. Seeing that the things men pursue on earth increase vanities, what is a man the better for his worldly devices?

Our life upon earth is to be reckoned by days. It is fleeting and uncertain, and with little in it to be fond of, or to be depended on.

Let us return to God, trust in his mercy through Yeshua (Jesus Christ), and submit to his will. Then soon shall we glide through this vexatious world, and find ourselves in that place, where there is fulness of joy and pleasures forevermore in the presence of God and His Son Yeshua.

122ff86d580bb8fa83714e974438a3858387422932175195067.jpgLord hear our prayer as we kneel before your throne. We thank you, Father,, for all which you have bestowed upon us, patience, wisdom, perseverance, determination. Most of all Father we thank you for taking us through tribulations which have drawn us closer to you. Thank you, Lord, for showing us our weaknesses and filling us with understanding which elevates us through all your trials and tribulations. Thank you, Father, for teaching us to be joyous in all things, through your wisdom and patience. This we pray in Yeshua’s name Amen and Amen.

Remember these articles are messages of a humble, obedient Servant called to be a Watchman sounding the Trumpet to make the flock aware.

God’s blessings to those who hear the Trumpet. And know true messengers cannot be delegated they must have the spirit of God in them as Peter did whenwith eyes full of heavenly light and heart glowing with sacred firedeclared YeshuaThou art the Christ, the Son of the living God!”

May God bring blessings to all who walk in the name of Yeshua as Adopted children. “Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, while we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord; (For we walk by faith, not by sight).”We are confident, I say, and willing rather be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.” (2Corinthians 5:6-8)

RECOGNIZING OUR PITFALLS

Now, these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. (1Corinthians 10:6).

OPENING STATEMENT by Robert.

CLOUDS & SKY 065The clouds deepened in their demeanour, appearing more massive as temptations were making up the composition of the shadows. I could see they were dividing themselves into what seemed to be various categories, almost like they were taking on a life of their own, and then I realized they actually were.

The temptations were becoming more visible and appeared more appealing and majestic, their subtleties more evident however were thalluring, enticing, inviting, and seductive, They were swirling and blending into the vapours of the cloud, becoming as one but not losing their appeal, identity or purpose.

What I could see was the identity of the temptations in their mingled state. However, their identifiable functions were becoming less and less distinguishable yet more appealing and acceptable.

FIRST TRUMPET: 1Corinthians 10: v.6 Now these things were our example, to TRUMPET 15the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. v.7 Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them: as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play. v.8 Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand. v.9 Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them tempted and were destroyed of serpents. v.10 Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured and were destroyed of the destroyer.

The clouds continued to swirl deeper inward, and I could see there were many standing within these temptations, believing they were safe and untouchable by the attractions within. People were demonstrating an arrogance towards what was before them, not recognizing their position and the consequences of their actions.

SECOND TRUMPET: 1Corinthians 10: v.12  Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he falls. As the clouds began to reveal the temptations, I TRUMPET 15could see no one was exempt from being touched and drawn into the appeal of the lures. I saw there was a division developing among those within the clouds, which was creating a scene of confusion and despair, causing many to reach out to those who appeared as leaders causing them to pull away from Christ their real Rock.

THIRD TRUMPET: 1Corinthians v. 13 There hath no temptation taken you but TRUMPET 15such as is common to men: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. v14 Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.

CLOSING PRAYER by Robert

My prayers go out to all who hear the Trumpet sounding. I ask the Lord to bring ANGEL & TRUMPET 2discernment through the Holy Spirit, I pray that Yeshua will fill all with the spirit of courage, knowledge and submission unto Him. This I pray in the name of Yeshua. Amen & Amen. Know, God, is with you in your trials and tribulations.

ARE YOU SPIRITUALLY PREPARED FOR BATTLE?

PRE-AMBLE by Robert

The worldly churches told you, and you believed this was going to be a walk in the park enjoying the scenery.” This article has proven to be very challenging once I entered into the front line prepared to do battle, but more so in being readied to share what I have been shown.

For example, old soldiers wore shoes of brass to defend their feet against the gall-traps (three-pronged metal pieces) and sharp sticks, which were wont to be laid privily in the way, to obstruct the marching of the enemy, those who fell upon them being unfit to march.

This is a preview of what is to be revealed, and not to be taken lightly as the enemy is going to tempt you, be prepared to be outfitted for battle. Please note the Holy Spirit has removed the kid gloves and is providing us with Warfare weaponry, Armory and how to use it. “Are you ready”?

OPENING PRAYER by Robert

Heavenly Father in humility and awe I approach your throne to place this petition before you for all who have taken on the armour of light in preparation for our future battles in the spirit. I ask Father for the placing of courage in their hearts the removal of fear through your knowledge, compassion, and love for all your children. Place in them Father your desire to serve as faithful soldiers bearing the protection and weapons, you have made available for us Lord, through the Holy Spirits guidance and teachings. This I pray in your name in the name of Yeshua, Amen, and Amen.

OPENING STATEMENT by Robert

The past articles have brought us to the position we are currently in, preparing or actually engaging in spiritual battles preserving our salvation or assisting others to find their footing in Salvation. We have received instructions from the Holy Spirit and the Apostles of what we must be doing and how we should be doing it.

What I personally am questioning is how to recognize the tools or weapons to conduct those battles as well as how to actually use them when engaged in combat. I prayed and here is what I believe the Holy Spirit is providing as answers for our preparation.

On a personal note: “all previous articles have caused changes in my walk through the convictions found in researching and posting of the articles, I pray they have done the same for those reading them. God’s Blessings are attached to them all and meant for those who learn to discern, understand each one and their purpose. Bring conviction and change to your lives and walk in the Spirit.”

As a result of growing spiritually, I have as well recognized a deepening of my ability to discern, understand and know the subtle temptations the enemy is placing before me.

The frequency of his attempts and the deepening of their appearance and depth of allure as my understanding is broadened. What I am now recognizing is how many followers of Yeshua are going into battle with fervency but being naked and without the Armor of God and are quickly disabled by the enemies “fiery darts.”

The temptations are just the tip of his assaults on us as Beacons and Fisher’s of Men once we enter into battle we are immediately hit with “fiery darts” of the evil, and as naked warriors, we suffer many casualties and multiple defeats which we should not.

My question is “Why are Gods Warriors not being prepared for battle?” Are modern-day churches teaching how to protect yourselves when you enter the battle?” We are asked to shed the covering of evil bring our bodies into submission gaining control over them to walk in the light of God as warriors. However, without the proper armament, we become a target in the spotlight, easy to hit easy to wound and to take out of the battle with “fiery darts.”

There is a saying in the Martial Arts which defines the individual’s position as a participant and at what level he will perform as a combatant.

I believe this applies to all who would enter into spiritual battle “Recognize your enemy’s strengths and weaknesses.” “Recognize your strengths, weaknesses, and level of ability and how to use them against your enemy.” I am paraphrasing these quotes from memory. However, I think their value will be understood and discerned.

What are these fiery darts? How can we recognize them or defeat them? I believe Jesse Penn Lewis (1861 – 1927) in her Unabridged book “War on The Saints” on pages 216 – 217 gives us a detailed description of how they are loosed against us and how we can recognize them.

If the man becomes “spiritual” through the Baptism of the Spirit, and yet is ignorant of the laws of the spirit, especially the tactics of Satan, he is liable to yield to an onslaught of deceiving spirits.

When the believer understands these direct assaults of wicked spirits, he becomes able to discern the condition of his soul, and to retain control over it, refusing all weights and pressure to drive it below the usual poise, in which it is capable of cooperation with the Spirit of God.”

In Ephesians 6: 10 – 18 Matthew Henry (1662 – 1774) comments on the Apostle Pauls’s instruction to all followers of Yeshua to participate in the following in order I believe, to be prepared to go into spiritual warfare armed and protected.

Keep this in mind this information is going to be of very particular importance. Even if you choose not to take on the mantle of a “Fisher of Men,” and just continue working out your own Salvation:

v10: “Finally, my brethren, be active in the Lord, and in the power of His might.

v11: Put on the whole armour of God, that ye be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

v12: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

v13: Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

v14: Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness.

v15: And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace.

v16: Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

v17: And take the helmet of Salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

v18: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.

Is not our life a warfare? It is so, for we struggle with the frequent calamities of human life. Is not our spiritual walks much more a warfare? It is, for we struggle with the opposition of the powers of darkness, and with many enemies who would keep us from God and heaven. Now it is requisite that a soldier is both stout-hearted and well-armed. If followers are spiritual soldiers of Yeshua entering into battle.

They must see that they are stout-hearted. This is prescribed here: “be strong in the Lord.” Those who have such battles to fight, and who on their way to heaven, must dispute every pass, with the dint of sword, have need of a great deal of courage.

Let a soldier be ever so well armed without, if he has not within a good heart, his armour will stand him in little stead. Note, spiritual strength and courage are essential for our spiritual warfare. Be strong in the Lord, either in his cause and for his sake or rather in his power.

Jesse Penn Lewis (1861 – 1927) in her Unadulterated book “War on The Saints” on page 217 further describes the importance what Paul points out in Ephesians 6:12 who it is we really are battling with and how powerful and skilled they are as opponents.

We need to recognize we are no match for this enemy when we step away from the leading of the Holy Spirit and Yeshua.

I believe Ms. Penn Lewis in her description of the enemy shows our weaknesses against them, however as well how to defeat them using the armour of God.

This comes down to knowing your enemy as well as your limitations and working with both to obtain victory.

” The influence on the human spirit by evil spirits counterfeiting the Divine workings, or even the workings of the man himself, because he is out of co-working with the Holy Spirit, needs to be understood and detected by the believer who seeks to walk with God.

He needs to know that because he is spiritual his “spirit” is open to two forces of the spiritual realm if he thinks that only the Holy Spirit can influence him in the spiritual sphere, he is sure to be misled. If it were so, he would become infallible, but he needs to watch and pray to seek to have his eyes of understanding enlightened to know the actual workings of God

Matthew Henry (1662 – 1774) re-enforces Ms. Lewis’s statements we have no power in ourselves “We have no sufficient strength of our own. Our natural courage is as perfect cowardice, and our natural strength as a perfect weakness but all our sufficiency is of God.

We must fetch in grace and help from heaven to enable us to do that which of ourselves we cannot do, in our Christian work and warfare.

To further understand what both are talking about Jesse Penn Lewis (1861 – 1927) in her Unabridged book “War on The Saints” on page 218 ” gives us a description of some of our enemies tactics.

She first states “ Some of the laws governing the spiritual life may be summarized briefly as follows:

1). The believer must know what spirit, is and how to give heed to the demands of the spirit, and not quench it.

2). He should be able to read his spirit and know at once when it is out of cooperation with the HOLY SPIRIT, refusing all attacks which are drawing his spirit out of poise of fellowship with God.

3). He should know when his spirit is touched by the poison of the spirits of evil; by the injection, for instance, of sadness, soreness, complaint, grumbling, fault finding, touchiness, bitterness, feeling hurt, jealousy, etc. all direct from the enemy to the spirit.

He should resist all sadness, gloom and grumbling injected into his spirit, for the victory life of a freed spirit means joyfulness (Gal.5:22).

Believers think that sadness has to do with their disposition, and yield to it without a thought of resistance or reasoning out the cause.

If they are asked if a man with a strong disposition to steal should yield to it, they would at once answer “no,” yet they yield to other dispositions” less manifestly wrong, without question.

In the stress of conflict, when the believer finds that the enemy succeeds in reaching his spirit with any of these “fiery darts” he should know how to pray immediately against the attack asking God to destroy the cause of it.

Note: that this touching of the spirit by the various things just named is not the manifestation of the “works of the flesh.

When the believer is one who knows the life after the spirit; although they will quickly reach the sphere of the flesh if not recognized, and dealt with in sharp refusal and resistance.

4). He should know when his spirit is in the right position of dominance over soul and body, and yet not driven beyond due measure by the exigencies of conflict or environment.

There are three conditions of the spirit which the believer should be able to discern and deal with, i.e.,

1). The spirit depressed crushed or “down.”

2). the spirit in its right position in poise and calm control.

3). The spirit is drawn out beyond “poise,” or in “flight.”  When the man walks after the spirit and discerns it to be in either of these conditions. He knows how to “lift” it when it is depressed; and how to check the over-action by a quiet act of his volition, when it is drawn out of poise by over-eagerness, or drive of spiritual foes.

We have just had the foundation of how important putting on the whole armour of God is and some insight of how the enemy is going to attack us and the effectiveness of the armour.

Also if you have the armour on and don’t have your walk in the right place otherwise a fervent heart for Yeshua, you might as well not put it on.

So we need the whole outfit to withstand the wiles of the enemy and join the front line. Remember Jesse Penn Lewis advised we need to connect spiritually with Yeshua in Heaven.

Well, Our enemies strive to prevent our spiritual ascent to heaven, to deprive us of those heavenly blessings and obstruct our communion with Yeshua.

As the archangel, Michael contended with the devil over the body of Moses (Jude 1:9). We must recognize and deepen our faith to partake in our Spiritual Warfare as we grapple with our spiritual enemies.

And have faith in our Christian work because we have the spiritual strength to fetch in. To recognize our danger and through God’s grace not yield to Satan Resist him and he will flee.

If in any way we distrust our cause or leader or the armour we give Satan the advantage. We must in all cases withstand his assaults stick it out to the end of the battle having done that as soldiers of Yeshua the warfare will be accomplished, and we shall be victorious.

To understand how to use the armour both offensive and defensive here is  Matthew Henry (1662 – 1774) giving a description piece by piece

“The military girdle or belt, the breastplate the greaves ( or soldiers shoes), the shield, the helmet, and the sword. There is none for the back if we turn our back upon the enemy, we lie exposed.

Truth or sincerity is our girdle (Ephesians 6:14). It was prophesied of Yeshua (Isaiah 11:5) that righteousness should be the girdle of his loins and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.

That which Yeshua was girdled with all Christians must be girded with. God desires truth, that is, sincerity, in the inwards parts.

Righteousness must be our breast-plate. The breast-plate secures the vitals, shelters the heart. The righteousness of Yeshua imputed to us is our breastplate against the arrows of divine wrath.

It fortifies the heart against the attacks which Satan makes against us. The breastplate of faith and love include all Christian graces for by faith we are united to Yeshua and by love to our brethren. These will infer a diligent observance of our duty to God, and an honourable deportment towards men, in all the offices of justice, truth, and charity.

The resolution must be the greaves to our legs. The preparation of the gospel of peace signifies a prepared and resolved frame of heart, to adhere to the doctrine and abide by it, which will enable us to walk with a steady pace in the way of religion, notwithstanding the difficulties and dangers that may be in it.

Faith must be our shield: above all, or chiefly taking the shield of faith (Eph 6:16). This more necessary than any of them. Faith is all in all to us in an hour of temptation.

The breast-plate secures the vitals, but with the shield, we turn every way. This is the victory over the world, even our faith.

We are to be fully persuaded of the truth of all God’s promises and threatenings, such as faith being of great use against temptations.

Faith, as receiving Yeshua and the benefits of redemption, so deriving grace from him, is like a shield, a sort of stellar defence. Violent temptations, by which the soul is set on fire of hell, are the darts which Satan shoots at us.

Faith is the shield with which we must quench these “fiery darts,” wherein we should receive them, and so render them ineffectual, that they may not hit us, or at least that they may not hurt us. Faith acted upon the word of God and applying that, acted upon the grace of Christ and improving that, quenches the darts of temptation.

Salvation must be our helmet (Eph.6:17) that is, hope, which has salvation for its object so (1Thess.5:8). The helmet secures the head. A real hope of Salvation. Well-founded and well built, will both purify the soul and keep it from being defiled by Satan, and it will comfort the heart and keep it from being troubled and tormented by Satan. He would tempt us to despair, but real hope keeps us trusting in God, and rejoicing in Him.

The word of God is the Sword of the Spirit. The sword is a vital, and useful part of a soldier’s armament. The Word of God is essential, and of great use to the Christian, to his maintaining the spiritual warfare and succeeding in it.

It is called the sword of the Spirit because it is the Spirit’s inditing and he renders it efficacious and powerful and sharper than a two-edged sword.

Scripture arguments are the most persuasive arguments to repel temptation with. Christ himself resisted Satan’s temptations with, It is written, (Matt. 4:4,6,7,10).

Prayer must buckle on all the other parts of our Christian armour, (Eph. 6:18) We must join prayer with all these graces, for our defence against these spiritual enemies, imploring help and assistance of God, as the cases require: and we must pray always.

CLOSING COMMENTS by Robert

Here, we have been shown how to take off the clothes of evil and replace them with the armour of God. These pieces of armour have come with very explicit instructions on how to wear them and how to use them once in place as well just how powerful they are. We also learned that if our hearts are not sincere, the armour is useless.

Please recognize there is no middle ground you cannot be lukewarm and remain on the narrow path to Life and Eternity.

I realize there will be those who will read this either partway and fall into their own minds of believing the Worldly teachings God is Love and protects all of His children once they are born again and baptized.

One thing they forget we are instructed to work out our Salvation daily, and there are no exceptions not even Apostles were exempt.

Earlier I said there are many wounded and disabled Christians know this on your journey you will see them on the broad path waving their swords ineffectively but believing they are in the real battle.

I say “cast your nets in their direction in the hope they will see the pure light and true freedom as they are fallen comrades needing guidance, correction, and help.

Jesse Penn-Lewis (1861 – 1927) brings this warning to all no matter the length of time we have walked with our Lord if we are just having our eyes opened to the real spiritual world and the battles lying ahead, please recognize this is our most dangerous time.

It is just here that the ignorance of the believer about

(1). The spiritual world now opened to him,

(2). The workings of evil powers in that realm, and

(3). The conditions upon which God works in and through him gives the enemy his opportunity. It is the time of greatest peril for every believer, unless he is instructed and prepared, as the disciples were for three whole years by the Lord.

The danger lies along the lines of supernatural “guidance,” through not knowing the condition of cooperation with the Holy Spirit, and how to discern the will of God.

CLOSING PRAYER by Robert

Father, it is with humility I approach your throne with this prayer of thanksgiving and appreciation for your guidance and teachings through the Holy Spirit.

I thank you, Father, for the knowledge you have bestowed upon us and the lifting of the veils of darkness from our eyes so we are to discern the evil in our lives and who our real enemy is.

We thank you, Father,, for providing us with your armour to face our enemy with and the instructions of how to use those weapons to remain safe in your service.

We thank you, Father, for the very life we have and those things which enhance our walk reflecting your light into the darkness allowing us to remain to cast our nets as”Fisher’s of Men.” This I pray in the name of Yeshua. Amen and Amen.

Remember, I am just a humble servant bringing this to you as a messenger of Yeshua. God’s blessings and God’s Speed.

“FAITH!”

And Yeshua answering saith unto them. Have faith in God. Mark 11:22

PRE-AMBLE by Robert

WOMEN TOUCHING JESUS' HEMWhat is Faith? Where do we find Faith? Why should I have Faith? Where will Faith take me? And the questions go on and on about Faith, about the importance of Faith being in our lives or the lack of it. In the King James Version, Faith appears 336 times; other versions vary, 458 times in the New International Bible, 389 in the New King James Bible version, 378 in the New American Standard Bible and 521 in the Good News Bible.

What does all this mean to the discerning believer? In this article, we are being led into the thickest part of our walks. We will see answers to as many of the questions the Lord sees fit to answer through the Holy Spirit.

In the secular world, Faith is defined as follows: Faith can be described as trust or confidence in a person or something in religion, faith is the belief or trust in doctrines and ethics or a supreme being. Usually not based on proof Faith could also mean observance of obligation or fidelity to one’s promise or oath.

In the Scriptures, I see those who walk with the Spirit of God bringing forth definitions of faith. One part of the secular definition Usually not based on proof is the best description needed to describe faith within a walk with Yeshua.

OPENING PRAYER by Robert.

DOMESTICATED ANIMAL 014Heavenly Father we place all the heavenly gifts received daily from you Lord through our faith before your throne. Giving praise and thanks for having received them. We recognize the power of recognition without substance as the reward and definition you have Spiritually defined our FAITH as. We accept your acknowledgment of our trust without question, our devotion within your Love and healing of our souls through your compassion, and the growth of our understanding through your gift of discernment. We thank you, Father, for the ability to proceed through our lives in peace even when under attack or being tempted. Father, we give praise for all we have received through Spiritually filling us with FAITH. This we pray in the name of Yeshua, Amen and, Amen.

OPENING STATEMENT by Robert

HOLY SPIRITThe Holy Spirit is leading us to the book of Jeremiah so we might reflect on the current condition of our world, our surroundings and those within it. What John Gill’s (1697 to 1771) commentary from the introduction of the Book of Jeremiah describes is why the destruction of the Jews occurred. And I believe eventually our world and those in it who are being identified and why. “It describes their sins, their idolatry, which was notorious, of which their own consciences, their altars, and their children were witnesses, (Jeremiah 17:1).

For which they are threatened with the spoil of their substance and treasure, and discontinuance in their land, (Jeremiah 17:3). As also their confidence in an arm of flesh, which brought the curse of God on them, when such are blessed that trust in him, and the difference between those that trust in men and those that trust in the Lord is illustrated by very apt similes (Jeremiah 17:5).

The source of which vain confidence is the wicked heart of man, known to none but God, (Jeremiah 17:9) and the vanity of it is exposed by a partridge sitting on eggs without hatching them, (Jerimiah 17:11).

And their departure from God, by trusting in the creature, and in outward things, is aggravated by their temple being the throne and seat of the divine Majesty, by what God is to the people that trust him, and by the shame and ruin that follow apostasy from him, (Jeremiah 17:12).

MIRROR - FULL LENGTHThis description is like looking in the mirror and seeing today’s world being presented before us so we might visually see where it stands. The decay and rottenness the betrayals and dry condition of those within it. And more than anything why and how historically it is being repeated. But to understand why God is proclaiming to destroy this world as he declared he would destroy Jerusalem and its palaces which should be burnt to the ground if the warning was/is not heeded.

John Gill (1697 to 1771) describes what God offered as a solution. “The prophet then follows an order to him from the Lord. To go and stand in the gate of the city, and exhort all ranks of men to the observation of the Sabbath, with directions on how to keep it. Which had not been observed by their fathers, and which was another cause of their ruin, (Jeremiah 17:19) and the chapter is closed with promises of blessings in city, court, and country, in church and state, should they religiously observe the Sabbath day. But if they profaned it, the city of Jerusalem and its palaces should be burnt with fire, (Jeremiah 17:24).

Jeremiah carried quite a strong message to those in Jerusalem but what does it have to do with our Faith today.

His commandment to the people was to religiously observe the Sabbath. Keyword in that message if you observe it closely is RELIGIOUSLY SHEPHERD 4observed.

In other words, stop paying lip service to God, get serious about your walks or else. Something all need to remember God knows your heart intent don’t think you can fool Him, you can’t, God is not your carnal father.

John Gill (1697 to 1771) describes through what the prophet Jeremiah did before receiving and delivering God’s message. “Wherefore the prophet sensible of his own backslidings prays’ to be healed and saved by the Lord, who should have all the praise and glory, (Jeremiah 17:14) and then relates the scoffs of the people at the word of God by him. Another cause of their ruin declares his own innocence and integrity; prays for protection and the security from fear in a time of trouble, and for confusion, terror and destruction to his persecutors, (Jeremiah 17:15).”

The following is the real message Jeremiah brought to those within who would receive and observe the warning which John Gill (1697 to 1771) appropriately describes, in my opinion, is an appropriate spiritual definition of FAITH: “Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green. And shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.”  (Jeremiah 17:7-8).”

Each warning holds in-depth information on its effect on our lives and personal TRUMPET 15relationship with Yeshua and His Father Yehwah.

A woman desperate for healing and in faith follows Yeshua and reaches out and touches his garment and is healed by her faith.

Peter steps out of a boat and walks on water by his faith until he is overwhelmed by doubt and fear. Moses leads the Israelites to the edge of the Red Sea, trapping them for the oncoming Egyptians, through his faith the Red Sea is parted, and a way to escape the Egyptians is provided.

A man being crucified next to Yeshua (Jesus) declares Yeshua’s innocence and by his unknown faith, becomes the first to receive Salvation through his belief in truth and fairness. I could go on and on citing the actions of worship.

Matthew Henry (1662 – 1774) brings forward through his commentary a formula describing and defining FAITH but more importantly, in that definition what faith will make available: “There is the fullness of comfort in God, overflowing, ever-flowing fullness, like a fountain. It is always fresh and clear, like spring-water, JESUS 16while the pleasures of sin are puddle-waters.

He prays to God for healing, saving mercy. He appeals to God concerning his faithful discharge of the office to which he was called. He humbly begs that God would own and protect him in the work to which he had plainly called him.

Whatever wounds or diseases we find to be in our hearts and consciences, let us apply to the Lord to heal us, to save us, that our souls may praise his name. His hands can bind up the troubled conscience, and heal the broken heart; he can cure the worst diseases of our nature.

Our question, Why do I need faith? I believe is answered in the book of Galatians 3:19 where Matthew Henry (1662 – 1774) brings forward details of how to understand the “Why,” in Galatians 3:22 “But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Yeshua (Jesus) might be given to them that believe.”

However, we must know how it is; we recognize we are sinners and an explanation of Why God called us to come back to walking in His laws. Many say the law has IMG_20180305_1653568.jpgbeen done away with and now we walk under Salvation and Grace. I point out the Holy Spirit is leading us to Galatians 3:23 – 26 to find the truth of God’s calling us back.

The Apostle Paul explains why. “But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterward be revealed. Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster. For ye are all the children of God by faith in Yeshua (Jesus Christ). Now the following verses are the most important for all as they describe how we truly are through faith connected to Yeshua (Jesus). For as, many of you as having been baptized into Yeshua (Jesus) have put on Yeshua (Jesus). There is neither Jew nor Greek; there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Yeshua (Christ Jesus). And if ye be Yeshua’s (Jesus’s) then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”

The covenant God made with Abraham, was not removed by giving the law to Moses. The covenant was made with Abraham and his Seed. It is still in force; Christ abideth for ever in his person, and his spiritual seed, who are his by faith. By this, PEOPLE 778we learn the difference between the promises of the law and those of the gospel. God’s promises of the law are made to the person of every man; the promises of the gospel are first made to Yeshua, then by him to those who are by faith ingrafted into Yeshua (Jesus).

Rightly to divide the word of truth, a significant difference must be put between the promise and the law, as to the inward affections, and the whole practice of life. When the promise is mingled with the law, it is made nothing but the law. Let Yeshua be always before our eyes, as a positive argument for the defence of the faith, against dependence on human righteousness.

TORAH 1Matthew Henry (1662 -1774) explains The law did not teach a living, saving knowledge; but, by its rites and ceremonies, especially by its sacrifices, it pointed to Yeshua, that they might be justified by faith. And thus it was, as the word properly signifies, a servant, to lead to Yeshua, as children are lead to school by servants who have the care of them, that they might be more fully taught by Him the exact way of justification and salvation, which is only by faith in Yeshua.

And the vastly more significant advantage of the gospel state is shown, under which we enjoy a more explicit discovery of Divine grace and mercy than the Jews of old.

Most men continue to shut up as in a dark dungeon, in love with their sins, being blinded and lulled asleep by Satan, through worldly pleasures, interests, and pursuits.

But the awakened sinner discovers his dreadful condition. Then he feels that the mercy and grace of God form his only hope. And the terrors of the law are often used by the convincing Spirit, to show the sinner his need of Yeshua, to bring him to rely on his sufferings and merits, that he may be justified by faith.

Then the law, by the teaching of the Holy Spirit, becomes his loved rule of duty, and his standard for daily self-examination. In this use of it, he learns to depend more directly on the Saviour.

Here we address the question of why should I have faith the following pieces of information commented on by Matthew Henry (1662 -1774) show the action part of MAN WITH SWORDFaith within our lives and the importance of it being exercised faithfully and daily.

A Believer must consider himself undressed, if unarmed. The graces of the Spirit are this armour, to secure the soul from Satan’s temptations, and the assaults of this present evil world.

Put on Yeshua; that includes all. Put on the righteousness of Yeshua, for justification. Put on the Spirit and grace of Yeshua, for sanctification. Yeshua must be put on as Lord to rule you like Christ to save you; and in both, as Yeshua anointed and appointed by the Father to this ruling, saving work.

And how to walk. When we are up and ready, we are not to sit still, but to appear abroad; let us walk. Being a believer teaches us how to walk so as to please God, whoever sees us. Walk honestly as in the day; avoiding the works of darkness. KNIGHT 14

Where there are riot and drunkenness, there usually are chambering and wantonness, and strife and envy. Solomon puts these all together, Proverbs 23:29-35. See what provision to make. Our great care must be to provide for our souls: but must we take no concern about our bodies? Yes; but two things are forbidden.

Perplexing ourselves with anxious, encumbering care; and indulging ourselves in irregular desires. Natural wants are to be answered, but evil appetites must be checked and denied. To pursue meat for our necessities is our duty, we are taught to pray for daily bread, but to not be satisfied and ask for what we desire to satisfy our fleshly lusts, is provoking God, Psalm 78:18.

CLOSING COMMENTS by Robert

JACOB'S LADDER 1Is there an answer to all the questions about faith, yes, however only if we continue as shown to walk in the light, receive instructions from the Holy Spirit and grow in our personal relationship with Yeshua.

We saw the results of Peter having great faith by walking on the water. Yeshua tells us we can move mountains or if our faith is the size of a mustard seed we can become a source of comforting, knowledge and security like the tree which springs from that seed.

I see faith as the most significant and essential tool Yahweh has placed within our soul. What I am recognizing is not to question or wonder about faith, but to accept it is there operating in my life and walk as God has meant it to be.

The few examples described here really only give us a reason not to doubt faith but embrace its presence in our walk to eternity. My conclusion for what it is worth FAITH as we know, recognize and relish genuinely is the Key to paradise and everlasting, eternal life.

Without it, we end up on the broad path many are following in delusion not knowing God has provided them with a key to freedom and eternal peace joy and in a personal relationship and presence of Yeshua and His Father. “Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

“AUGUST 3rd 2020 PRAYER”

‘There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because of fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.” 1 John 4:18

OUR PRAYER

DOVE 10May our heavenly Father bring peace to all your lives through His love compassion grace and knowledge gilded with discernment, wisdom, courage, and fervour to serve God in His Laws.

Allowing personal integrity to flourish in all of our life’s days where we have turmoil. I pray in Yeshua’s name Amen and Amen.

God is “a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness” (Psalm 86:15). Like all of God’s attributes, His compassion is infinite and eternal. His compassions never fail; they are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23).

When you have faith and courage of an obedient [child of God] to lead in Yeshua’s name, without fear, many will follow your light.

BY THE SPIRIT HE HATH GIVEN!

The hatred of our brethren is, on the contrary, a sign of our deadly state, of our continuance under the legal sentence of death. He that loveth not his brother (his brother in Christ) abideth in death, 1 John 3:14.

He yet stands under the curse and condemnation of the law. This the apostle argues by deductive reasoning. “You know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him, but he who hates his brother is a murderer, and therefore you cannot but know that he who hates his brother hath not eternal life abiding in him,”

Whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst, shall never be totally destitute thereof; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life, John 4:14.

And thereupon some may be apt to surmise that the passing from death to life (1 John 3:14) does not signify the relative change made in our justification of life, but the real change made in the regeneration to life; and accordingly that the abiding in death mentioned 1 John 3:14 is continuance in spiritual death, as it is usually called, or abiding in the corrupt deadly temper of nature.

But as these passages more naturally denote the state of the person, whether adjudged to life or death, so the relative transition from death to life may well be proved or disproved by the possession or non-possession of the inward principle of eternal life, since washing from the guilt of sin is inseparably united with washing from the filth and power of sin. But you are washed, but you are sanctified, but you are justified, in the name of our Lord Yeshua (Jesus), and by the Spirit of our God, 1 Corinthians 6:11.

Remember these messages and prayers are from a Watchman sharing God’s warnings and teachings.

A mind that has single and prevailing regard to its spiritual and eternal interest, and that keeps steady in its purposes for God, will grow wise by afflictions, will continue fervent in devotion, and rise above trials and oppositions. As you provide for your creations we trust you will provide for us.

When you have faith and courage of an obedient [child of God] to lead in Yeshua’s name, without fear, many will follow your light.

“HE THAT IS OF A FAITHFUL SPIRIT!”

THE MERCIFUL MAN DOETH GOOD TO HIS OWN SOUL!

A weapon provided by the Holy Spirit while in the den of wolves. Silence is here recommended as an instance of true friendship, and a preservative of it, and therefore evidence.

1. Of wisdom: A man of understanding, that has rule over his own spirit, if he is provoked, holds his peace, that he may neither give vent to his passion nor kindle the passion of others by any opprobrious language or peevish reflections

2. Of sincerity: He that is of a faithful spirit, that is true, not only to his own promise but to the interest of his friend, conceals every matter which, if divulged, may turn to the prejudice of his neighbour.

This prudent friendly concealment is here opposed to two very bad vices of the tongue:

1. Speaking scornfully of a man to his face: He that is void of wisdom discovers his folly by this he despises his neighbour, calls him Raca, and Thou fool, upon the least provocation, and tramples upon him as not worthy to be set with the dogs of his flock. He undervalues himself who thus undervalues one that is made of the same mould

2. Speaking spitefully of a man behind his back: A tale-bearer, that carries all the stories he can pick up, true or false, from house to house, to make mischief and sow discord, reveals secrets which he has been entrusted with, and so breaks the laws, and forfeits all the privileges, of friendship and conversation.

The good presage of a kingdom’s prosperity: In the multitude of counsellors, that see their need one of another, and act in concert and with concern for the public welfare, there is safety; for what prudent methods one discerns not another may. In our private affairs, we shall often find it to our advantage to advise with many; if they agree in their advice, our way will be the more clear; if they differ, we shall hear what is to be said on all sides, and be the better able to determine.

Remember these articles are from a humble servant doing God’s work as a Scan_20180701Watchman. Blessings to all. May your walks be steady blessed and lead to Yeshua waiting at the door when the time is right.

Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If any man hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into him and will sup with him and he with me.”
