Acts 1:3-5 v3: To whom also he sheweth himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days. And speaking of the things about the kingdom of God: v:4 and being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, ” but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. v5: for John indeed baptized with water, but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.  

In my last published article “The Beginning” I related, “The reality is Yeshua 2000+ years ago suffered was crucified buried and was resurrected to sit on the right hand of God.” “Salvation and Grace became obtainable gifts to all mankind because our Lord was resurrected. I believe Yeshua is now recruiting modern-day disciples to again spread the truth afresh without worldly attachments, myths, or traditional ceremonies.” as witnesses to his resurrection and the gifts of Salvation and Grace. 

The emphasis in this article is the preparation Yeshua did with his Apostles during the 40 days he spent with them before his ascension and the receiving of the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Yeshua knew in many ways they were still attached to the world, and the Jewish customs and laws. As he knows our thoughts and continued attachments to our modern world and its customs and traditions, which our current day churches or centers of entertainment, calling themselves churches, have attached to the gospel. But Yeshua also knows all these things will fall off once we’re baptized with the Holy Ghost as he did with the Apostles of old.

 Heavenly Father hear our petition which we place before your throne! We humbly ask for your wisdom, meekness, humility, patience, understanding, strength discernment and courage to fill us as we are being prepared for the Heavenly Gifts you choose to bestow upon us through the “Holy Ghost’s Baptism.” We ask this in all humility and meekness in your name Yeshua. Bring upon us Father your words as promised in times of need remove the spirit of fear from our minds fill it with your knowledge as you did Yeshua in his time of need. We humbly in reverence for your greatness Father petition for your kindness to be upon us.  Amen and Amen.

 All truths will be revealed through the Heavenly gifts bestowed at the moment we receive the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, our spirit will be filled with his knowledge as were the Apostles of old.

Once the Holy Ghost was received the Apostles entered into a dark, wicked and sin-filled world. So will the new Disciples come into a dark, evil and sin-filled world?  As the Prophet, Joel’s prophecies were described by Commentary in the book of Joel 1:8-13 All who labor for the meat which perishes, will, sooner or later, be ashamed of their labor. Those that place their happiness in the delights of sense, when deprived of them, or disturbed in the enjoyment, lose their joy. Whereas spiritual pleasure then flourishes more than ever. See what perishing,  uncertain things our creature-comforts are. See how we need to live in continual dependence upon God and his providence. See what ruinous work sin makes. As far as poverty occasions the decay of deity of piety, and starves the cause of religion among people, it is a very severe judgment. But how blessed are the awakening judgments of God, in rousing his people and calling home the heart to Yeshua, and his salvation?  

The new disciples will do so having the Apostles witness of Yeshua’s Resurrection and Ascension to be seated at the right hand of God. The more earthly delights we make needful to satisfy us, the more we expose ourselves to trouble. 

However, as Yeshua was ascending our Lord gave the Apostles a severe warning to their question “Lord wilt thou at this time restore the kingdom again to Israel?” And he said unto them “It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost has come upon you. And ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”  

Matthew Henry (1662 – 1774) “Yeshua came to set up his own kingdom, and that a kingdom of Heaven, not to restore the kingdom to Israel, an earthly kingdom.” As the Apostles had believed Yeshua was going to make the nation of the Jews as tremendous and considerable among the countries as it was in the days of David and Solomon, of Asa and Jehoshaphat.

“How able even good men are to place the happiness of the church too much in external pomp and power. As if Israel could not be glorious unless the kingdom was restored to it, nor Christ’s disciples honored unless they were peers of the realm whereas we are told to expect the cross in this world and to wait for the kingdom in the other world.”

“How we retain what we have imbibed, and how hard it is to get over the prejudices of education.” 

“How apt we are to misunderstand scripture to understand that literally which is spoken figuratively, and to expound scripture by our schemes, whereas we ought to form our schemes by the scriptures.” “But, when the Spirit shall be poured out from on high, our mistakes will be rectified, as the Apostles’ soon after were.”

Yeshua had told them they should sit on thrones (Luke 22:30). And now nothing will serve them but they must be in the throne immediately, and cannot stay the time whereas “he that believeth doth not make haste,” but is satisfied that “God’s time is the best time.” 

Yeshua’s warnings to the Apostles as he ascended were not only for them at the time, but for all his churches over time. His warning applies to the modern day disciples as fervently as it did to the Apostles of old. The warnings came about due to the question asked at that time in regards to setting up of God’s kingdom which they believed would be restoring Israel to its former position.

I believe the question we as followers today are asking is “when will Yeshua return and set up his kingdom” and the same answer he gave the Apostles of old applies here as well. As followers, we know the promise of His return, and we are impatient for the setting up of that kingdom and are inquisitive into that which our Master has never directed or encouraged us to inquire into. Perhaps like the Apostles of old we have promised ourselves a significant share and anticipate the divine counsels.

The check Yeshua gave then is the same today “What is that to thee?” “It is not for you to know the times and seasons.” It is clear we are not to ask this question his rebuke was as he ascended and was intended as a caution to his church in all ages. Take heed of splitting upon the rock which was fatal to our first parents, an inordinate desire of forbidden knowledge, and intruding into things which we have not seen because God has not shown them. Yeshua is showing us, which Matthew Henry (1662 -1774) reveals in the following quote. “It is folly to covet to be wise above what is written, and wisdom to be content to be no wiser.” Yeshua had given his disciples a great deal of knowledge above others (“to you, it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God”) and had promised them his Spirit. To teach them more now, lest they should be puffed up with the abundance of the revelations, he here lets them understand that there were some things which it was not for them to know. We shall see how little reason we have to be proud of our knowledge when we consider how many things we are ignorant of. 

Here it is essential for us to reconcile Yeshua has provided the knowledge and information he knew we could handle as we present ourselves as disciples in His name. The example is illustrated by  Matthew Henry (1662 -1774) Yeshua had given his disciple’s instructions sufficient for the discharge of their duty. Both before his death and since his resurrection, and in this knowledge he will have them to be satisfied for it is enough for a Christian, in whom vain curiosity is a corrupt humor, to be mortified and not gratified.  

Here it is essential those who have followed our articles over the months recognize your current position. Because we in the spirit have gone through the crucifixion as followers and received Yeshua’s teachings as the Apostles did and spiritually through the scriptures seen them performed by Yeshua as teaching examples. We should heed the above rendition which does apply to us as it did to the Apostles. Do not let vain curiosity as a corrupt humor enter into our lives or walk as we go forward. Yeshua has left us through the Scriptures the things about the kingdom of God and had promised that the Spirit should show us things to come concerning it. (John 16:13) “Howbeit, when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come.”

Like the Apostles of old, we have through the Scriptures been given signs of the times (the book of Joel), which we need to observe, and know that it is a sin to overlook them (Matt. 24:33, Matt. 16:3). We must not expect or desire to know either all the particulars of future events or the exact times of them. Dr. Henry Hammond (1605 – 1660) explains “It is good for us to be kept in the dark, and left at uncertainty concerning the times and moments of future events concerning the church, as well as concerning ourselves. Concerning all the periods of time and the final period of it, as well as concerning the period of our own time.” 

 CLOSING COMMENTS by Robert

So now, Yeshua having left instructions for the Apostles as he has done for us Scripturally.  And said all that he had to say, he blessed them  (Luke 24:50), and while they beheld him and had their eye fixed upon him receiving his blessing, he was gradually taken up, and a cloud received him out of their sight.

Dr. Henry Hammond (1605 – 1660) believes “that the clouds receiving him here were angels receiving him for the appearance of angels is ordinarily described by a cloud comparing Exodus 25:22; Leviticus 16:2. By the clouds, there is a sort of communication kept between the upper and lower world in them the vapors are sent up from earth, and the dew sent down from heaven.” 

I know there will be questions or comments on this next paragraph some will say there cannot be the second ascension of Yeshua, and as a follower I already have the Holy Spirit guiding me.

“I in no way am asserting there can or will be the second ascension. 

Here I must explain having spiritually relived the crucifixion due to following Yeshua’s footsteps in preparation for our personal relationship with Yeshua we through the spirit have emotionally relived that day. Now having spiritually relived and witnessed the Crucifixion through the article “THE PRICE OF OUR PERPETUAL GIFTS.” We are now turning to the Scriptures to recognize and spiritually capture the witness of his ascension and leaving the promise of receiving the Baptism of the Holy Spirit as part of “God” initially calling us to return to his laws which started this journey several articles and months back.

You see as we progressed and grew spiritually closer to Yeshua through the articles it has become clear God was preparing us for a great work. Earlier in this article, I revealed what I believe the Holy Spirit brought forward about what the great work was to be. “Our mission is to spread the word of Salvation and grace which will provide guidance and spiritual sustenance to God’s children who have suffered the great Calamities prophesied in the book of Joel 3:9-17“Here is a challenge to all the enemies of God’s people. There is no escaping God’s judgments; hardened sinners, in that day of wrath, shall be cut off from comfort and joy. Most of the prophets foretell the same final victory of the church of God over all that oppose it. To the wicked, it will be a terrible day, but to the righteous, it will be a joyful day. What cause have those who possess an interest in Yeshua, to glory in their Strength and their Redeemer! The acceptable year of the Lord, a day of such great favor to some, will be a day of remarkable vengeance to others: let every one that is out of Yeshua awake and flee from the wrath to come.” 

Recognize what the prophet Joel was describing in Joel 2:1-14 If the alarm of temporal judgments is given to offending nations, how much more should sinners be warned to seek deliverance from the wrath to come! Our business therefore on earth must especially be, to secure an interest in our Lord Yeshua. And we should seek to be weaned from objects which will soon be torn from all who now make idols of them. There must be outward expressions of sorrow and shame, fasting, weeping, and mourning; tears for trouble must be turned into tears for sin that caused it. There is no question but that if we truly repent of our sins, God will forgive them, but whether he will remove affliction is not promised, yet the probability of it should encourage us to repent. 

Thus the preparation for the receiving of the “Baptism of the Holy Ghost” as the final piece of Yeshua’s plan to send his modern-day disciples out to be available to bring his children back to His Father’s laws. And the re-establishment of His church. as prophesied in the book of Joel chapter 3: 18-21. There shall be abundant Divine influences, and the gospel will spread speedily into the remotest corners of the earth. These events are predicted under significant emblems.

Our walk has been a different one but special, and I have always maintained there would be significant rewards for those who continued in God’s call to return to following his laws.  

For those who claim they already have the Holy Spirit “yes” you do. And why you do is explained here by Matthew Henry (1662 -1774) “ Now that Yeshua was about to leave the Apostles and they, since he breathed on them and opened their understandings, were better able to receive the instructions he furnished his disciples with. 

 We acknowledge you must have the Holy Spirit to enact the miracles of God and confess Yeshua as the Lord, so without the Holy Spirit, (1Cor.12:7) There is no discernment. Like the Apostles, “before leaving them,” Yeshua breathed the Holy Spirit on them for them to understand and discern. As he blessed us with the Holy Spirit when we received Salvation, so we might discernment the scriptures and accept the teachings of the Holy Spirit to develop our personal relationship. The preparation for Spiritually receiving the “Baptism of the Holy Spirit” is to further deepen our testimony of Yeshua’s Crucifixion and witness to his resurrection accompanied by God’s heavenly gifts bestowed upon those receiving the “Baptism of the Holy Ghost” as the Apostles of old did at Pentecost. “ARE YOU PREPARED FOR YOUR FUTURE”? 

SPECIAL NOTE: 

They were of one accord. We cannot forget how often, while the Master was with them. There were strifes among them, who should be the greatest. But now all these discords were at an end, we hear no more of them, What they had received already of the Holy Ghost, when Yeshua breathed on them, had in good measure rectified the mistakes upon which those contests were grounded, and had disposed them to holy love. They had prayed more together of late than usual (Acts 1:14) and this made them love one another better. By his grace he thus prepared them for the gift of the Holy Ghost for that blessed dove comes not where there are noise and clamor, but moves upon the face of the still waters, not the rugged ones. 

Let us be all of one accord, and notwithstanding the variety of sentiments and interests, as no doubt, there was among the disciples, let us agree to love one another for, where brethren dwell together in unity, there it is that the Lord commands his blessing. 

The Spirit descended upon our Saviour when he was praying, (Luke 3:21). Those are in the best frame to receive spiritual blessings that are in a praying structure. Yeshua had promised now shortly to send the Holy Ghost now this promise was not to supersede prayer but to quicken and encourage it. God will be enquired of for pledged mercies, and the nearer the performance seems to be the more earnest we should be in prayer for it. They did this in one accord. This intimates that they were together in holy love and that there was no quarrel nor discord among them and those who so keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace are best prepared to receive the comforts of the Holy Ghost. 

A rushing mighty wind came with great force. This was to signify the powerful influences and working of the Spirit of God upon the minds of men and thereby upon the world. Thus the convictions of the Spirit make way for his comforts, and the rough blasts of that blessed wind, prepare the soul for its soft and gentle gales. There was an appearance of something like flaming fire, lighting on every one of them, according to John Baptist’s saying concerning Yeshua. He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire. The Spirit, like fire, melts the heart, burns the dross, and kindles pious and devout affections in the soul. In which, as in the fire on the altar, the spiritual sacrifices are offered up. They were all filled with the Holy Ghost, more than before. They were filled with the graces of the Spirit, and more than ever under his sanctifying influences; more weaned from this world, and better acquainted with the other.They were more filled with the comforts of the Spirit, rejoiced more than ever in the love of Yeshua and the hope of heaven. In it, all their griefs and fears were swallowed up. They were filled with the gifts of the Holy Ghost, they had miraculous powers for the furtherance of the gospel. They spake, not from previous thought or meditation, but as the Spirit gave them utterance.  

As prophesied in the book of Joel chapter 3: 18-21. There shall be abundant Divine influences, and the gospel will spread speedily into the remotest corners of the earth. These events are predicted under significant emblems; there is a day coming when everything amiss shall be amended. The fountain of this plenty is in the house of God, whence the streams take rise. Yeshua is the Fountain. His sufferings, merit, and grace cleanse, refresh, and make fruitful. Gospel grace flowing from Yeshua, shall reach to the Gentile world, to the most remote regions, and make them abound in fruits of righteousness. And from the house of the Lord above, from his heavenly temple, flows all good we daily taste, and hope to enjoy eternally.

 Our Father who art in heaven hallowed be thy name thy kingdom come thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil; for thine is the kingdom, and the power and the glory forever, Amen.

Bless those Father who have followed your footsteps to the Baptism of the Holy Ghost and will now witness your gifts of Salvation and Grace as life unto eternity in your presence Amen. 

As the Watchman, I must sound the Trumpet that in this article not only is it giving information but is providing us with a spiritual warning through the prophet Joel of an upcoming catastrophe. Joel relates to those who would listen to how this calamity is going to unfold by using the cycle of the Locust. Armies of insects were coming upon the land to eat the fruits of it. It is expressed so as to apply also to the destruction of the country by a foreign enemy. God is Lord of hosts, has every creature at his command, and, when he pleases, can humble and mortify a proud, rebellious people, by the weakest and most contemptible creatures. It is just with God to take away the comforts which are abused to luxury and excess, and the more men place their happiness in the gratifications of sense, the more severe the temporal afflictions are upon them. Our nation (Canada) is under attack not physically but spiritually, and many are confused and do not understand how or why. This calamity is going to occur from within and unfold as follows. It is understood literally as armies of insects but in reality is an invasion of Nations, people, tongues, languages, potentates, and revenging kingdoms. These insects first eat up the fruits of the country, there will be four types each destroying what the other left behind. They initially appear as being vulnerable but grow in numbers and use their vast numbers to destroy everything in their path. Heed the sounding of the “Trumpet” be prepared for our nation to fall into utter destruction and ruin as our enemy is coming with fury and force. We must take note our enemy begins as a simple insect yet becomes a lion when they come armed with a divine commission. Take heed all in this great nation there is a fall about to take place prepare yourselves in the Lord.

The acceptable year of the Lord, a day of such great favor to some, will be a day of remarkable vengeance to others: let every one that is out of Yeshua awake and flee from the wrath to come.” 

Recognize what the prophet Joel was describing in Joel 2:1-14 If the alarm of temporal judgments is given to offending nations, how much more should sinners be warned to seek deliverance from the wrath to come! Our business therefore on earth must especially be, to secure an interest in our Lord Yeshua. And we should seek to be weaned from objects which will soon be torn from all who now make idols of them. There must be outward expressions of sorrow and shame, fasting, weeping, and mourning; tears for trouble must be turned into tears for sin that caused it. There is no question but that if we truly repent of our sins, God will forgive them, but whether he will remove affliction is not promised, yet the probability of it should encourage us to repent. 

Thus the preparation for the receiving of the “Baptism of the Holy Ghost” as the final piece of Yeshua’s plan to send his modern-day disciples out to be available to bring his children back to His Father’s laws. Our walk has been a different one but special, and I have always maintained there would be significant rewards for those who continued in God’s call to return to following his laws.  

For those who claim they already have the Holy Spirit “yes” you do. And why you do is explained here by Matthew Henry (1662 -1774) “ Now that Yeshua was about to leave the Apostles and they, since he breathed on them and opened their understandings, were better able to receive the instructions he furnished his disciples with. 

 We acknowledge you must have the Holy Spirit to enact the miracles of God and confess Yeshua as the Lord, so without the Holy Spirit, (1Cor.12:7) There is no discernment. Like the Apostles, “before leaving them,” Yeshua breathed the Holy Spirit on them for them to understand and discern. As he blessed us with the Holy Spirit when we received Salvation, so we might discernment the scriptures and accept the teachings of the Holy Spirit to develop our personal relationship. This intimates that they were together in holy love and that there was no quarrel nor discord among them and those who so keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace are best prepared to receive the comforts of the Holy Ghost. 

A rushing mighty wind came with great force. This was to signify the powerful influences and working of the Spirit of God upon the minds of men and thereby upon the world. Thus the convictions of the Spirit make way for his comforts, and the rough blasts of that blessed wind, prepare the soul for its soft and gentle gales. There was an appearance of something like flaming fire, lighting on every one of them, according to John Baptist’s saying concerning Yeshua. He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire. The Spirit, like fire, melts the heart, burns the dross, and kindles pious and devout affections in the soul. In which, as in the fire on the altar, the spiritual sacrifices are offered up. They were all filled with the Holy Ghost, more than before. They were filled with the graces of the Spirit, and more than ever under his sanctifying influences; more weaned from this world, and better acquainted with the other.They were more filled with the comforts of the Spirit, rejoiced more than ever in the love of Yeshua and the hope of heaven. In it, all their griefs and fears were swallowed up. They were filled with the gifts of the Holy Ghost, they had miraculous powers for the furtherance of the gospel. They spake, not from previous thought or meditation, but as the Spirit gave them utterance.  

As prophesied in the book of Joel chapter 3: 18-21. There shall be abundant Divine influences, and the gospel will spread speedily into the remotest corners of the earth. These events are predicted under significant emblems; there is a day coming when everything amiss shall be amended. The fountain of this plenty is in the house of God, whence the streams take rise. Yeshua is the Fountain. His sufferings, merit, and grace cleanse, refresh, and make fruitful. Gospel grace flowing from Yeshua, shall reach to the Gentile world, to the most remote regions, and make them abound in fruits of righteousness. And from the house of the Lord above, from his heavenly temple, flows all good we daily taste, and hope to enjoy eternally.

As the Watchman, I must sound the Trumpet that in this article not only is it giving information but is providing us with a spiritual warning through the prophet Joel of an upcoming catastrophe. Joel relates to those who would listen to how this calamity is going to unfold by using the cycle of the Locust. Armies of insects were coming upon the land to eat the fruits of it. It is expressed so as to apply also to the destruction of the country by a foreign enemy. God is Lord of hosts, has every creature at his command, and, when he pleases, can humble and mortify a proud, rebellious people, by the weakest and most contemptible creatures. It is just with God to take away the comforts which are abused to luxury and excess, and the more men place their happiness in the gratifications of sense, the more severe the temporal afflictions are upon them. The more earthly delights we make needful to satisfy us, the more we expose ourselves to trouble. 

Our nation (Canada) is under attack not physically but spiritually, and many are confused and do not understand how or why. This calamity is going to occur from within and unfold as follows. It is understood literally as armies of insects but in reality is an invasion of Nations, people, tongues, languages, potentates, and revenging kingdoms. These insects first eat up the fruits of the country, there will be four types each destroying what the other left behind. They initially appear as being vulnerable but grow in numbers and use their vast numbers to destroy everything in their path. Heed the sounding of the “Trumpet” be prepared for our nation to fall into utter destruction and ruin as our enemy is coming with fury and force. We must take note our enemy begins as a simple insect yet becomes a lion when they come armed with a divine commission. Take heed all in this great nation there is a fall about to take place prepare yourselves in the Lord.

In my last published article “The Beginning” I related, “The reality is Yeshua 2000+ years ago suffered was crucified buried and was resurrected to sit on the right hand of God.” “Salvation and Grace became obtainable gifts to all mankind because our Lord was resurrected. I believe Yeshua is now recruiting modern-day disciples to again spread the truth afresh without worldly attachments, myths, or traditional ceremonies.” as witnesses to his resurrection and the gifts of Salvation and Grace. 

The emphasis in this article is the preparation Yeshua did with his Apostles during the 40 days he spent with them before his ascension and the receiving of the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Yeshua knew in many ways they were still attached to the world, and the Jewish customs and laws. As he knows our thoughts and continued attachments to our modern world and its customs and traditions, which our current day churches or centers of entertainment, calling themselves churches, have attached to the gospel. But Yeshua also knows all these things will fall off once we’re baptized with the Holy Ghost as he did with the Apostles of old.

 All truths will be revealed through the Heavenly gifts bestowed at the moment we receive the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, our spirit will be filled with his knowledge as were the Apostles of old.

Once the Holy Ghost was received the Apostles entered into a dark, wicked and sin-filled world. So will the new Disciples come into a dark, evil and sin-filled world?  As the Prophet, Joel’s prophecies were described by Commentary in the book of Joel 1:8-13 All who labor for the meat which perishes, will, sooner or later, be ashamed of their labor. Those that place their happiness in the delights of sense, when deprived of them, or disturbed in the enjoyment, lose their joy. Whereas spiritual pleasure then flourishes more than ever. See what perishing,  uncertain things our creature-comforts are. See how we need to live in continual dependence upon God and his providence. See what ruinous work sin makes. As far as poverty occasions the decay of deity of piety, and starves the cause of religion among people, it is a very severe judgment. But how blessed are the awakening judgments of God, in rousing his people and calling home the heart to Yeshua, and his salvation?  

The new disciples will do so having the Apostles witness of Yeshua’s Resurrection and Ascension to be seated at the right hand of God. And ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”

“How able even good men are to place the happiness of the church too much in external pomp and power. As if Israel could not be glorious unless the kingdom was restored to it, nor Christ’s disciples honored unless they were peers of the realm whereas we are told to expect the cross in this world and to wait for the kingdom in the other world.”

“How we retain what we have imbibed, and how hard it is to get over the prejudices of education.” 

“How apt we are to misunderstand scripture to understand that literally which is spoken figuratively, and to expound scripture by our schemes, whereas we ought to form our schemes by the scriptures.” “But, when the Spirit shall be poured out from on high, our mistakes will be rectified, as the Apostles’ soon after were.”

Yeshua had told them they should sit on thrones (Luke 22:30). And now nothing will serve them but they must be in the throne immediately, and cannot stay the time whereas “he that believeth doth not make haste,” but is satisfied that “God’s time is the best time.” 

Yeshua’s warnings to the Apostles as he ascended were not only for them at the time, but for all his churches over time. His warning applies to the modern day disciples as fervently as it did to the Apostles of old. The warnings came about due to the question asked at that time in regards to setting up of God’s kingdom which they believed would be restoring Israel to its former position.

I believe the question we as followers today are asking is “when will Yeshua return and set up his kingdom” and the same answer he gave the Apostles of old applies here as well. As followers, we know the promise of His return, and we are impatient for the setting up of that kingdom and are inquisitive into that which our Master has never directed or encouraged us to inquire into. Perhaps like the Apostles of old we have promised ourselves a significant share and anticipate the divine counsels.

The check Yeshua gave then is the same today “What is that to thee?” “It is not for you to know the times and seasons.” It is clear we are not to ask this question his rebuke was as he ascended and was intended as a caution to his church in all ages. Take heed of splitting upon the rock which was fatal to our first parents, an inordinate desire of forbidden knowledge, and intruding into things which we have not seen because God has not shown them. Yeshua is showing us, which Matthew Henry (1662 -1774) reveals in the following quote. “It is folly to covet to be wise above what is written, and wisdom to be content to be no wiser.” Yeshua had given his disciples a great deal of knowledge above others (“to you, it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God”) and had promised them his Spirit. To teach them more now, lest they should be puffed up with the abundance of the revelations, he here lets them understand that there were some things which it was not for them to know. We shall see how little reason we have to be proud of our knowledge when we consider how many things we are ignorant of.

Thus the convictions of the Spirit make way for his comforts, and the rough blasts of that blessed wind, prepare the soul for its soft and gentle gales. There was an appearance of something like flaming fire, lighting on every one of them, according to John Baptist’s saying concerning Yeshua. He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire. The Spirit, like fire, melts the heart, burns the dross, and kindles pious and devout affections in the soul. In which, as in the fire on the altar, the spiritual sacrifices are offered up. They were all filled with the Holy Ghost, more than before. They were filled with the graces of the Spirit, and more than ever under his sanctifying influences; more weaned from this world, and better acquainted with the other.They were more filled with the comforts of the Spirit, rejoiced more than ever in the love of Yeshua and the hope of heaven. In it, all their griefs and fears were swallowed up. They were filled with the gifts of the Holy Ghost, they had miraculous powers for the furtherance of the gospel. They spake, not from previous thought or meditation, but as the Spirit gave them utterance.  

As prophesied in the book of Joel chapter 3: 18-21. There shall be abundant Divine influences, and the gospel will spread speedily into the remotest corners of the earth. These events are predicted under significant emblems; there is a day coming when everything amiss shall be amended. The fountain of this plenty is in the house of God, whence the streams take rise. Yeshua is the Fountain. His sufferings, merit, and grace cleanse, refresh, and make fruitful. Gospel grace flowing from Yeshua, shall reach to the Gentile world, to the most remote regions, and make them abound in fruits of righteousness. And from the house of the Lord above, from his heavenly temple, flows all good we daily taste, and hope to enjoy eternally.

 Our Father who art in heaven hallowed be thy name thy kingdom come thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil; for thine is the kingdom, and the power and the glory forever, Amen.

Bless those Father who have followed your footsteps to the Baptism of the Holy Ghost and will now witness your gifts of Salvation and Grace as life unto eternity in your presence Amen. 

As the Watchman, I must sound the Trumpet that in this article not only is it giving information but is providing us with a spiritual warning through the prophet Joel of an upcoming catastrophe. Joel relates to those who would listen to how this calamity is going to unfold by using the cycle of the Locust. Armies of insects were coming upon the land to eat the fruits of it. It is expressed so as to apply also to the destruction of the country by a foreign enemy. God is Lord of hosts, has every creature at his command, and, when he pleases, can humble and mortify a proud, rebellious people, by the weakest and most contemptible creatures. It is just with God to take away the comforts which are abused to luxury and excess, and the more men place their happiness in the gratifications of sense, the more severe the temporal afflictions are upon them. The more earthly delights we make needful to satisfy us, the more we expose ourselves to trouble. 

Our nation (Canada) is under attack not physically but spiritually, and many are confused and do not understand how or why. This calamity is going to occur from within and unfold as follows. It is understood literally as armies of insects but in reality is an invasion of Nations, people, tongues, languages, potentates, and revenging kingdoms. These insects first eat up the fruits of the country, there will be four types each destroying what the other left behind. They initially appear as being vulnerable but grow in numbers and use their vast numbers to destroy everything in their path. Heed the sounding of the “Trumpet” be prepared for our nation to fall into utter destruction and ruin as our enemy is coming with fury and force. We must take note our enemy begins as a simple insect yet becomes a lion when they come armed with a divine commission. Take heed all in this great nation there is a fall about to take place prepare yourselves in the Lord.

I related the following statement “Too many go through their life’s journey forgetting or possibly not realizing one of our spiritual goals must be to reconnect with God spiritually,” in my last article “REASONING POWER” A KEY TOOL FOR GOD’S EFFECTIVE MESSENGERS”
This article reveals how we were separated and most definitely how and why we need to be reconnected to (God) our Father in Heaven. I related our receiving Salvation through Grace and Faith, places us initially in a relationship with Yeshua. And in that relationship, it will become clear as we continue working out our Salvation we will find it is the needle and thread by which we become capable of spiritually reconnecting to the Father through developing and deepening our relationship with His Son Yeshua. The needle represents acceptance of our newborn spiritual walk with a gentle heart, the thread is “God’s good-will to us, is the cause of his good work in us.“ God’s words coming to us through the Holy Spirit deepening our relationship with His Son Yeshua.
I believe we all know the story of Adam and Eve and what some call their fall into sin, for this article, I call it mankind’s separation from God. Matthew Henry (1662 – 1774) gives us an accounting of how it transpired and speculatively why. “Observe the steps of the transgression: not steps upward, but downward toward the pit.

1. She saw. A great deal of sin comes in at the eye. Let us not look on that which we are in danger of lusting after, Matthew 5:28.
2. She took. It was her own act and deed. Satan may tempt, but he cannot force; may persuade us to cast ourselves down, but he cannot cast us down, Matthew 4:6.
3. She did eat. When she looked perhaps she did not intend to take; or when she took, not to eat: but it ended in that. It is wisdom to stop the first motions of sin and to leave it off before it is meddled with.
4. She gave it also to her husband with her. Those that have done ill are willing to draw in others to do the same.
5. He did eat. In neglecting the tree of life, of which he was allowed to eat, and eating of the tree of knowledge, which was forbidden, Adam plainly showed contempt of what God had bestowed on him and a desire for what God did not see fit to give him. He would have what he pleased and do what he pleased. His sin was, in one word, disobedience, Romans 5:19; disobedience to a plain, easy, and express command.

Heavenly Father, bring our lives into unison with Yeshua’s teachings and guidance out of the darkness ahead. I pray Father not one believes they have all the answers and humble themselves before you Father. I ask Father that you release discernment and recognition unto all of our heads that we may be safe and strengthened as we go forward in Your name. Lord bring us insight and courage to stand as bright Beacons drawing many unto your light in the days and weeks ahead. Fill us with your wisdom that we might share it as your love and compassion for those lost, confused, as well lacking in their relationship with Yeshua. We pray this in your name Yeshua AMEN AND AMEN

So when we look at the events just described, we can plainly see the enemies plotted moves to beguile both, first Eve and then Adam. It explains the actions done by both Eve then Adam. As Satan cannot force us, he can only suggest, tempt and wait. Matthew Henry (1662 – 1774) explains Satan’s course of action, which he continues to use against mankind holding them Eternally in death and destruction. “The woman being deceived by the tempter’s artful management was the ringleader in the transgression, (1Timothy 2:14). She was first in the fault, and it was the result of her consideration, or rather in-consideration.
As well it revealed those who sin will make an effort to draw others into their sin.

And we all know Satan makes sin appealing and gratifying for the flesh deepening the delusion of false peace and widening the gap between God and us. With that knowledge, you know Satan having been cast out of heaven was going to attempt to

influence as many as he can to separate themselves from God and build his kingdom of followers believing he is more significant than God. So because Adam and Eve were the Father and Mother of civilization Satan knew God was trying the obedience of Adam and Eve through forbidding them the fruit from the tree of knowledge. Satan plotted for their disobedience to separate them from God. Thus his plan, separate Adam and Eve from God, and the rest of civilization were

his for the taking. What Satan achieved in spiritually separating them from God was destroy their heavenly body which endowed Eternal life and introduced mankind to a fleshly body which ages, dies and through Satans constant temptations imprisons man to sin and spiritual death through what the tree of knowledge brought forward. And “God Said” What is this Thou Has Done?

God bid Adam go out; told him he should no longer occupy and enjoy that garden: but Adam liked the place, and was unwilling to leave it. Therefore God made Adam go out.

This signified the Spiritual separation and shutting out of him, and all his guilty race, from that communion with God. Which was the bliss and glory of paradise? But man was only sent to till the ground out of which he was taken. He was sent to a place of toil, not to a place of torment. Our first parents were shut out from the privileges of their state of innocence, yet they were not left in despair. The way to the tree of life was shut. It was henceforward in vain for him and his to expect righteousness, life, and happiness, by the covenant of works; for the command of that covenant being broken, the curse of it is in full force. We are all undone if we are judged by that covenant. God revealed this to Adam, not to drive him to despair, but to quicken him to look for life and happiness in the promised Seed, by whom a new and living way into the holiest is laid open for us.

To reconnect with God Matthew Henry (1662 – 1774) gives details from Paul’s letter to the Philippians what path we need to take and what our conduct should entail. “We must be diligent in the use of all the means which lead to our salvation,

persevering therein to the end. With great care, lest, with all our advantages, we should come short. Work out your Salvation, for it is God who worketh in you. This encourages us to do our utmost because our labor shall not be in vain: we must still depend on the grace of God. The working of God’s grace in us is to quicken and engage our endeavors. God’s good-will to us, is the cause of his good work in us. Do your duty without murmurings. Do it, and do not find fault with it. Mind your work, and do not quarrel with it. By peaceableness; give no just occasion of offense. The children of God should differ from the sons of men. The more perverse others are, the more careful we should be to keep ourselves blameless and harmless. The doctrine and example of consistent believers will enlighten others, and direct their way to Christ and holiness, even as the light-house warns mariners to avoid the rocks.”

What Paul has revealed, shows our life’s journey is not going to be easy, and we need to know why and definitely what is yet to be encountered but as well the reward if we continue seeking God. Satan’s separation of Adam and Eve was much more in-depth as we learn what else was removed and released into their lives which affects the future populations and those to come.

Matthew Henry (1662 – 1774) details how mankind’s future in sin was laid out via Eve’s and Adam’s separation from God and subsequent punishments. “The woman, for her sin, is condemned to a state of sorrow, and of subjection; proper

punishments of that sin, in which she had sought to gratify the desire of her eye, and of the flesh, and her pride. Sin brought sorrow into the world; that made the world a vale of tears.
If the man had not sinned, he would always have ruled with wisdom and love; if the woman had not sinned, she would always have obeyed with humility and meekness.
Adam laid the blame on his wife; but though it was her fault to persuade him to eat the forbidden fruit, it was his fault to hearken to her. Thus men’s frivolous pleas will, in the day of God’s judgment, be turned against them. God put marks of displeasure on Adam.
1. His habitation is cursed. God gave the earth to the children of men, to be a comfortable dwelling; but it is now cursed for man’s sin. Yet Adam is not himself cursed, as the serpent was, but only the ground for his sake.
2. His employment and enjoyments are embittered to him. Labour is our duty, which we must faithfully perform; it is part of man’s sentence, which idleness daringly defies. Uneasiness and weariness with labor are our just punishment, which we must patiently submit to since they are less than our iniquity deserves. Man’s food shall become unpleasant to him. Yet man is not sentenced to eat dust as the serpent, only to eat the herb of the field.
3. His life also is but short; considering how full of trouble his days are, it is in favor of him that they are few. Yet death being dreadful to nature, even when life is unpleasant, that concludes the punishment. Sin brought death into the world: if Adam had not sinned, he had not died. He gave way to temptation, but the Saviour withstood it. And how admirably the satisfaction of our Lord Yeshua, by his death and sufferings, answered the sentence passed on our first parents!

Heavenly Father hear these words grant us your patience that we may find our way on this narrow path you have provided. Bring us discernment that we would know your words interpret them with us as you have set them before us. Lord bring us to your walk, guide us, so we are walking in your light and only in your presence. Fill us with righteousness that we may stand against all temptations to veer from this narrow path. Bring us under your wings Father comfort shield and nurture us like the children we are. This we pray in Yeshua’s name Amen and Amen.

While I walk through several different places I look at those who surround me, being busy living life as they know it. We do not know the condition of the hearts and minds of these individuals. What comes to me out of all this information is the urgency by which we need to as Modern Day Disciples fervently heed God’s call to return to His Law. The question I pose here “Is mankind doomed?” The answer I keep hearing “they are if we let up for one second”. Can we save the world? “No,” however what the Holy Spirit brought to my attention was, the Lord sitting by the well waiting for the Samaritan woman to bring her into His light and Eternal walk offering her an opportunity to reconnect with his Father.
I see our well taking on many different appearances and locations. Our well is the character of our spiritual walk being demonstrated to the masses as a beacon shining in the darkness of this world. Our well is how much different we are to the sight of the secular world as they observe our journey daily.
When you think about where the masses are in their walk it is overwhelming, however, if we concentrate on deepening our relationship with Yeshua it becomes a reflection of Him sitting at the well waiting to serve those thirsting for the water which will quench their desires and open the door to reconnecting to God through a relationship with Yeshua. Which we just demonstrated how it works for us. What comes from the Holy Spirit are the words Yeshua spoke to the Apostles before He sent them out, “be as wise as a Serpent and gentle as a Dove.”
What I recognize from this information is how important it is to not stop growing in my relationship with Yeshua once I’m walking in the light of Salvation. I now understand what work out your Salvation really means to me and those who see God’s light shining through me. I see it as being spiritually reconnected to God my Father in Heaven. I see this information revealing what Yeshua was warning us about in John 8:55 Yet ye have not known him, but I know him: and if I should say I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying. Then in John 14: 17 Even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth

with you, and shall be in you. Is the way to identify and acknowledge our reconnection with God. Thus knowing this, Matthew Henry (1662 – 1774) in his earlier commentary rings out loud and clear, We must be diligent in the use of all the means which lead to our salvation, persevering therein to the end. With great care, lest, with all our advantages, we should come short. Work out your Salvation, for it is God who worketh in you. With that, it becomes clear we must take our rescue into salvation through God’s Grace and our Faith as deep as we can lest we are found not reconnected Spiritually to God as described in John 8:55. In closing Do your duty without murmurings. Do it, and do not find fault with it. Mind your work, and do

not quarrel with it. By peaceableness; give no just occasion of offense. The children of God should differ from the sons of men. Here is why I am striving with all of my spirit and soul to reconnect with God, John 14:2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. v3. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself, that where I am, there ye may

be also.

In our last article, the Holy Spirit lead me to the Apostle John’s letters arming us with the truth Yeshua was the Word showing us God’s mind and the Light who will guide our steps through this world. John equipped us with the most potent weapon there is God’s word as the two-edged sword and instructions on how to use it properly. He showed us we would be able to discern the false teachers and prophets within the “Den of Wolves” and encouraged us to seek them out and bring His children out of their grasp one by one.
In this article, the Holy Spirit revealed 2Peter 2, where we will find Peter identifying in this book and the chapters the basis for some of the false teachings in the Worldly Churches of today. In a previous article, I mentioned [isms] coming into the churches but didn’t identify them then. I believe Peter did just that in 2Peter.

His second letter was directed against the gnostic and antinomian philosophies. The Gnostics were teaching in addition to believing in Yeshua, one must also receive the gnosis or estoric knowledge (esoteric defined as only taught to or understood by members, of a select group. Limited to a small number of people.)
Spiros Zodhiates, Th.D. (1922 – 2009) commented: The Gnostics separated matter from thought. They concluded that matter was evil, and formulated the idea that the possession of knowledge was the only requirement for salvation. This is why they did not want to attribute humanity to Yeshua because to them, material things were evil.
Docetism resulted, (a belief opposed as heresy in early Christianity that Yeshua only seemed to have a human body and to suffer and die on the cross.), which taught that the body of Yeshua was something that just appeared material, but in reality, it was only spiritual. Such a belief led to an immoral life, for since the spirit was separate from the physical body, they ignored their responsibility for the actions done in the body.

As a result of the philosophical concept of the evil of the body, the Gnostics ignored or diminished the significance of the historical facts of the ministry, death, and resurrection of Yeshua as not being real but merely apparent. To them, all the secrets of God were in mind or appearing in an immaterial identity. The result was a complete denial of sexual and other bodily appetites (i.e., one being virtual asceticism (defined: relating to or having a strict and simple way of living that avoids physical pleasure) and the other a practice of unrestrained indulgence of the body.) (Col.3:20 – 23).

Antinomians believe that salvation was by grace alone, the requirements of the moral law were irrelevant. This belief leads to a licentious lifestyle that naturally resulted among those who held this belief. Peter addressed this in the second chapter of 2Peter. The Apostle Paul addressed it in Romans 6 and was accused that he held this view (Romans 3:8).

Heavenly Father we ask you to hear our cries for your guidance, strengthening, discernment, and understanding. Bring onto us your words that we may stand against the evil present in your flock. Place before us your secrets of heaven that we may be filled with your compassion and love. Present your patience before us through the many tasks you desire for us so we will grow in your wisdom. Father give us vision which is bright and sharp to identify the physical evil operating among your lost children. This we pray in your name Yeshua Amen and Amen.

These are the questions most predominant before me as the Holy Spirit brought me to 2Peter.”How, did God’s children become merchandise?” “Why did God’s children become merchandise?” 

The first question I looked at was “How.” What did the enemy have or use which would allow his minions to operate in our assemblies so successfully? My research brought me to this commentary from Matthew Henry (1662 – 1774) “The way in which God recovers and secures his interest in men is by giving them an understanding, for by that door he enters into the soul and gains possession of it (2Samuel 22:31).

Now we also know the enemy will and does counterfeit all of our Fathers moves with an opposite effect. In this case, I speculate the enemy would using the same doorway to Yeshua’s followers, for his purpose, subjugate and bring the individual or the Eklessia into the passivity of their conscience.

So with this knowledge, I brought Matthew Henry’s (1662 – 1774) comments forward to shed some light on this subject of how Satan’s minion’s as Impure seducers and their abandoned followers, give themselves up to their own fleshly minds. Refusing to bring every thought to the obedience of Christ, they act against God’s righteous precepts. They walk after the flesh, they go on in sinful courses and increase to higher degrees of impurity and wickedness. They also despise those whom God has set in authority over them, and requires them to honor. Outward temporal good things are the wages sinners expect and promise themselves. And none have more cause to tremble, than those who are bold to gratify their sinful lusts, by presuming on the Divine grace and mercy. Many such there have been, and are, who speak lightly of the restraints of God’s law and deem themselves freed from obligations to obey it. Let Yeshua’s followers stand at a distance from such. 

As a second witness, the Holy Spirit brought me to Jesse Penn-Lewis’s (1861 -1927) description in her book ” WAR ON THE SAINTS” pg. 71 where she identifies “The Class of Believers Who Are Open to Passivity”  Now keep in mind I believe she is describing how the enemy is overtaking some of the leaders who are at the pulpits of today’s churches. 

“The persons open to “passivity,” of whom the evil spirits take advantage as the ground for their activity. Are those who become fully surrendered to God, and are brought into direct contact with the supernatural world by receiving the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. There are some who use the word “surrender,” and think they are surrendered fully to carry out the will of God. But are only in sentiment and purpose, for actually, they walk by the reason and judgment of the natural man. Although they submit all their plans to God, and because of this submittal sincerely believe they are carrying out His will.“

“But those who are really “surrendered,” give themselves up implicitly to obey, and carry out at all costs, what is revealed to them supernaturally as from God, and not what they themselves plan and reason out to be the will of God.” As Peter did right after Pentecost bringing 3000 to the flock through his sermon. We move on further into Ms. Penn-Lewis’s writings and find on pg 77 of “WAR ON THE SAINTS” her description of how these leaders bring “PASSIVITY OF THE CONSCIENCE” to their flocks through their strategic guidance believing it is from God. “ As for the passivity of the reasoning powers, when such believers have taken words spoken to them supernaturally, as God’s expressed will, they become law to them. So that they cannot be induced to reason over them. If they receive a “commandment” (supernaturally) about anything, they will not examine it, or reason or think upon that point. And they steadfastly determine to close themselves absolutely to any further light in this particular direction. This brings about, what may be described as, “PASSIVITY OF CONSCIENCE.” The conscience becomes passive through non-use when believers think that they are being guided by a higher law of being told to do this, or that, directly from God; that is, by direct guidance through voices, and texts.

We find through a little more investigation Matthew Henry’s (1662 – 1774) following commentary supporting Jesse Penn-Lewis’s statement. The word of truth is the water of life, which refreshes the souls that receive it; but deceivers spread and promote error, and are set forth as empty because there is no truth in them. As clouds hinder the light of the sun, so do these darken counsel by words wherein there is no truth. Seeing that these men increase darkness in this world, it is very just that the mist of darkness should be their portion in the next. In the midst of their talk of liberty, these men are the vilest slaves; their own lusts gain a complete victory over them, and they are actually in bondage. When men are entangled, they are easily overcome; therefore Christians should keep close to the word of God, and watch against all who seek to bewilder them.

With this information, I then approached the second question, “Why did God’s children become merchandise?” The Holy Spirit lead me to Galatians 1 and Pauls teachings showing the mistakes which they followed which I believe are being reflected in today’s Assemblies who are in error.   Matthew Henry (1662 – 1774) explains: “Some would set up the works of the law in place of Christ’s righteousness, and thus they corrupted Christianity. The apostle solemnly denounces, as accursed, everyone who attempts to lay so false a foundation. All other gospels than that of the grace of Christ, whether more flattering to self-righteous pride, or more favorable to worldly lusts, are devices of Satan. And while we declare that to reject the moral law as a rule of life, tends to dishonor Christ, and destroy true religion, we must also declare, that all dependence for justification on good works, whether real or supposed, is as fatal to those who persist in it. While we are zealous for good works, let us be careful not to put them in place of Christ’s righteousness, and not to advance anything which may betray others into so dreadful a delusion. “

The Apostle Peter in 2Peter 2 describes what is really in the hearts of those who have been turned into merchandise which is not a glowing report of their spiritual condition before God.  Matthew Henry’s (1662 – 1774) commentary reveals the WHY ” These walk after the flesh, they follow the devices and desires of their own hearts. They give up themselves to the conduct of their own fleshly mind, refusing to make their reason stoop to divine revelation, and bring every thought to the obedience of Yeshua. They, in their lives, act directly contrary to God’s righteous precepts and comply with the demands of corrupt nature. Evil opinions are often accompanied by evil practices. And those who are for propagating error are for improving in wickedness. They will not sit down contented in the measure of iniquity to which they have attained. Nor is it enough for them to stand up, and maintain, and defend, what wickedness they have already committed. But they walk after the flesh, they go on in their sinful course and increase unto more ungodliness and greater degrees of impurity and uncleanness too. They also pour contempt on those whom God has set in authority over them and requires them to honor.  These, therefore, despise the ordinance of God, and we need not wonder at it, for they are bold and daring, obstinate and refractory, and will not only cherish contempt in their hearts but with their tounges will utter slanderous and reproachful words of those who are set over them.” 

Jesse Penn-Lewis (1861 -1927) further explains the “Why” with these comments from pg. 78 in “WAR ON THE SAINTS.” She calls it Passivity of the Spirit. “ Passivity of the spirit is closely associated with the passivity of mind because there is a close relationship between mind and spirit. A wrong thought generally means an evil spirit and a wicked spirit a wrong thought.

The human “spirit” is often spoken of in the Scriptures as having activities and is described as being in various conditions. It can be moved, or be inactive, it can be “loosed,” bound, depressed, faint, free, and moved from three sources. God. The devil, or the man himself. It can be pure or “filthy.” (2 Cor.7:1) Or in a mixed condition, in the sense of being pure up to a degree, with other degrees of impurity to be dealt with by the cleansing power of the blood of Yeshua (1John 1:9), and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. The spirit is brought into union with Yeshua (1Cor. 6:17), and should actively dominate the man in full co-operation with the Holy Spirit. But passivity of spirit can be brought about by so many causes, that believers may be scarcely conscious of having any “spirit” at all, or else, through the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, which release the human spirit into freedom and buoyancy. The man may become acutely conscious of the spiritual life for a season, and afterward sink into passivity of spirit, unknowingly. This, then, means absolute powerlessness in the warfare with the power of darkness. For full liberty, and usage of the spirit in co-working with the indwelling Holy Spirit is a supreme essential for personal victory, and wielding the authority of Yeshua over the powers of evil. 

The Apostle in (2Peter 2:11) confirms what Jesse Penn-Lewis has revealed Matthew Henry (1662 – 1774) interprets this information “Unlike seducing teachers are to the most excellent creatures, he proceeds to ( 2Peter 2:12) to show how like they are to the most inferior. They are like the horse and mule, which have no understanding. They are as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed. Men, under the power of sin, are so far from observing divine revelation that they do not exercise reason, nor act according to the direction thereof. They walk by sight, not by faith, and judge of things according to their senses. As these represent things pleasant and agreeable, so they must be approved and esteemed. Brute-creatures follow the instinct of their sensitive appetite, and the sinful man follows the inclination of his carnal mind. These refuse to employ the understanding and reason God has given them, and so are ignorant of what they might and ought to know, and therefore observe.“

Peter then brings, forward the information I believe the Holy Spirit is providing for today’s modern Disciples as a tool to be applied to God’s sheep who strayed. 

Matthew Henry (1662 – 1774) elaborates it for us “By setting forth the very different conduct of more magnificent creatures, even the angels, of whom observe, 1). They are more significant in power and might, and that even than those who are clothed with authority and power among the sons of men. And much more than those false teachers who are slanderous revilers of magistrates and governors. The good angels vastly exceed us in all natural and moral excellence, in strength, understanding, and holiness too. The next commentary I believe is an example of how we are to use our tools when approaching and dealing with the strayed sheep.
2). Good angels are accusers of sinful creatures, either of their own kind, or ours, or both. Those who are allowed to behold the face of God, and stand before his throne, cannot but have a zeal for his honor, and accuse and blame those who dishonor him. 3). Angels bring their accusations of sinful creatures before the Lord, they do not publish their faults, and tell their crimes to their fellow-creatures, in the way of calumny and slander. But it is before the Lord, who is the judge, and will be the avenger, of all impiety and injustice. 4). Good angels mingle no bitter revilings nor base reproaches with any of the accusations or charges they bring against the wickedest and worst of criminals. Let us pray that, “Gods will be done on earth as it is in heaven,“ imitate the angels in this particular. If we complain of wicked men, let it be to God and that not with rage and reviling, but with compassion and composedness of mind, that may evidence that we belong to him who is meek and merciful.

Salutations and blessings for Yeshua’s followers coming together in prayer, Heavenly Father, we place before your throne our spirit and soul which you have filled with your living water and light. We thank you, Lord, for all that has been bestowed upon us your strength, courage, patience, wisdom understanding and discernment. As we stand on you as our rock, we ask Father for your guidance that we may use these tools to bring forward your everlasting love and compassion. Guide us, Father, that we may be your living examples so those trapped in the darkness of evil may see your greatness. Use us so they may look at our examples of placing them before your throne Father so they may hear the truth through our prayers of praise and exaltations of your love bringing joy, peace, health and extended life into our journey to eternity and our togetherness with you Yeshua. This we pray in your name Father. Amen and Amen.

How can you not know you have been touched by our Father through the Holy Spirit and equipped suitably to go out into the “Den of Wolves.” At first when I realized what Yeshua was asking and saw each stage of His teachings unfolding it became quite apparent the depth of the task. This calling is for everyone within the flock, who has drawn close to Yeshua on a personal relationship. I through that relationship now believe I feel the pain God has for those who have been deceived, and through delusion been drawn away from the flock. I also now recognize the depth of where Yeshua has and is drawing us gently into the secrets of heaven. As well giving us an opportunity to understand the difference between the Wolves and  His lost sheep and slowly digest and put into practice those tools needed to draw His lost children back to the flock. I eluded in an earlier article that it will take special care understanding and skills to complete God’s task. I also know that through God and with a solidly based personal relationship with Yeshua all things are possible. With that statement in mind, my closing question is “Are you merchandise or a true soldier of God committed to doing His bidding?” If you’re not then, “Why not”? You can see there is an abundance of strays who need to be shown the way back which is the real challenge of being a follower.

Remember I am just the “Watchman” sounding the Trumpet bringing the warning about the dangers facing the flock. I will again state that once you have received understood and discerned the warning and message pray and ask the Lord for the guidance of how to use it and how to share it.
