“The worldly churches told you, and you believed this was going to be a walk in the park enjoying the scenery.” This article has proven to be very challenging once I entered into the front line prepared to do battle, but more so being readied to share what I discerned and understand.
For example, old soldiers wore shoes of brass to defend their feet against the gall-traps (three-pronged metal pieces) and sharp sticks, which were to be laid privily in the way, to obstruct the marching of the enemy, those who fell upon them being unfit to march.
This is a preview of what is to be revealed, and not to be taken lightly as the enemy is going to tempt you, be prepared to be outfitted for battle. Please note the Holy Spirit has removed the kid gloves and is providing us with Warfare weaponry, Armory and how to use it. “Are you ready”?
OPENING PRAYER by Robert
Heavenly Father in humility and awe I approach your throne and place this petition before you, for all who have taken on the armour of light in preparation for our future battles in the spirit. I ask Father for the placing of courage in their hearts the removal of fear through your knowledge, compassion, and love for all your children. Place in them Father your desire to serve as faithful and obedient servants receiving the protection and weapons, you have made available, through the Holy Spirits guidance and teachings. This I pray in your name Yeshua, Amen, and Amen.
OPENING STATEMENT by Robert
The past articles have brought us to our current position, preparing or actually engaging in spiritual battles, preserving our salvation, or assisting others to find their footing in Salvation. We have received instructions from the Holy Spirit and the Apostles of what we must be doing and how we should be applying it.
I personally am questioning, how to recognize the tools and weapons to conduct those battles, as well as how to properly use them when engaged in combat. I prayed and here is what I believe the Holy Spirit is providing as answers for our assessment and eventual preparation.
On a personal note: “all previous articles have caused changes in my walk through the convictions found in researching and posting of the articles, I pray they have done the same for those reading them. God’s Blessings are attached to them all and meant for those who learn to discern, understand each one and their purpose. Bring conviction and change to your lives and walk in the Spirit.”
As a result of growing spiritually, I have as well recognized a deepening of my ability to discern, understand and know the subtle temptations the enemy is placing before me.
The frequency of his attempts and the deepening of their appearance and depth of allure as my understanding is broadened. What I am now recognizing is how many followers of Yeshua are going into battle with fervency but being unprepared and without knowledge of the Armor of God and are quickly disabled by the enemies “fiery darts and temptations.”
The temptations are just the tip of his assaults on us as Beacons on there hills and Fisher’s of Men once we enter into battle we are immediately hit with “fiery darts” of the evil, and as unprepared warriors, suffer many casualties and multiple defeats, which should not happen.
My question, “Why are Gods Warriors not being prepared for battle?” Are modern-day churches not teaching how to protect yourselves when you enter the battle?” We are asked to shed the covering of evil, bring our bodies into submission gaining control over them to walk in the light of God as warriors.
However, without the proper armament, you become a target in the spotlight, easy to hit easy to wound and easy to take out of the battle with “fiery darts,” and subtle temptations.
There is a saying in the Martial Arts which defines the individual’s position as a participant and at what level he will perform as a combatant.
I believe this applies to all who would enter into spiritual battle “Recognize your enemy’s strengths and weaknesses.” “Recognize your strengths, weaknesses, and level of ability and how to apply them against your enemy.” I am paraphrasing these quotes from memory. However, I think their value will be understood and discerned.
What are these fiery darts? How can we recognize them or defeat them? I believe Jesse Penn Lewis (1861 – 1927) in her Unabridged book “War on The Saints” on pages 216 – 217 gives us a detailed description of how they are loosed against us and how we can recognize them.
“If the man becomes “spiritual” through the Baptism of the Spirit, and yet is ignorant of the laws of the spirit, especially the tactics of Satan, he is liable to yield to an onslaught of deceiving spirits.
When the believer understands these direct assaults of wicked spirits, he becomes able to discern the condition of his soul, and to retain control over it, refusing all weights and pressure to drive it below the usual poise, in which it is capable of cooperation with the Spirit of God.”
In Ephesians 6: 10 – 18 Matthew Henry (1662 – 1774) comments on the Apostle Pauls’s instruction to all followers of Yeshua to participate in the following in order I believe, to be prepared to go into spiritual warfare armed and protected.
Keep this in mind this information is going to be of very particular importance. Even if you choose not to take on the mantle of a “Fisher of Men,” and just continue working out your own Salvation: Ephesians 6:10 – 18.
v10: “Finally, my brethren, be active in the Lord, and in the power of His might.
v11: Put on the whole armour of God, that ye be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
v12: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
v13: Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
v14: Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness.
v15: And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace.
v16: Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
v17: And take the helmet of Salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
v18: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.
Is not our life a warfare? It is so, for we struggle with the frequent calamities of human life. Is not our spiritual walks much more a warfare? It is, for we struggle with the opposition of the powers of darkness, and with many enemies who would keep us from God and heaven. Now it is requisite that a soldier is both stout-hearted and well-armed. As followers are spiritual soldiers of Yeshua entering into battle.
They will recognize they are stout-hearted. This is prescribed here: “be strong in the Lord.” Those who have such battles to fight, and who on their way to heaven, must dispute every pass, with the dint of sword, have need of a great deal of courage.
Let a soldier be ever so well armed without, if he has not within a good heart, his armour will stand him in little stead. Note, spiritual strength and courage are essential for our spiritual warfare. Be strong in the Lord, either in his cause and for his sake or rather in his power.
Jesse Penn Lewis (1861 – 1927) in her Unadulterated book “War on The Saints” on page 217 further describes the importance what Paul points out in Ephesians 6:12 who it is we really are battling with and how powerful and skilled they are as opponents.
We need to recognize we are no match for this enemy when we step away from the leading of the Holy Spirit and Yeshua (Jesus Christ).
I believe Ms. Penn Lewis in her description of the enemy shows our weaknesses against them, however as well how to defeat them using the armour of God.
This comes down to knowing your enemy as well as your limitations and working with both to obtain victory.
” The influenceonthe human spirit by evil spirits counterfeiting the Divine workings, or even the workings of the man himself, because he is out of co-working with the Holy Spirit, needs to be understood and detected by the believer who seeks to walk with God.
He needs to know that because he is spiritual his “spirit” is open to two forces of the spiritual realm if he thinks that only the Holy Spirit can influence him in the spiritual sphere, he is sure to be misled. If it were so, he would become infallible, but he needs to watch and pray to seek to have his eyes of understanding enlightened to know the actual workings of God
Matthew Henry (1662 – 1774) re-enforces Ms. Lewis’s statements we have no power in ourselves “We have no sufficient strength of our own. Our natural courage is as perfect cowardice, and our natural strength as a perfect weakness but all our sufficiency is of God.
We must fetch in grace and help from heaven to enable us to do that which of ourselves we cannot do, in our Christian work and warfare.
To further understand what both are talking about Jesse Penn Lewis (1861 – 1927) in her Unabridged book “War on The Saints” on page 218 ” gives us a description of some of our enemies tactics.
She first states “ Some of the laws governing the spiritual life may be summarized briefly as follows:
1). The believer must know what spirit, is and how to give heed to the demands of the spirit, and not quench it.
2). He should be able to read his spirit and know at once when it is out of cooperation with the HOLY SPIRIT, refusing all attacks which are drawing his spirit out of poise of fellowship with God.
3). He should know when his spirit is touched by the poison of the spirits of evil; by the injection, for instance, of sadness, soreness, complaint, grumbling, fault finding, touchiness, bitterness, feeling hurt, jealousy, etc. all direct from the enemy to the spirit.
He should resist all sadness, gloom and grumbling injected into his spirit, for the victory life of a freed spirit means joyfulness (Gal.5:22).
Believers think that sadness has to do with their disposition, and yield to it without a thought of resistance or reasoning out the cause.
If they are asked if a man with a strong disposition to steal should yield to it, they would at once answer “no,” yet they yield to other dispositions” less manifestly wrong, without question.
In the stress of conflict, when the believer finds that the enemy succeeds in reaching his spirit with any of these “fiery darts” he should know how to pray immediately against the attack asking God to destroy the cause of it.
Note: that this touching of the spirit by the various things just named is not the manifestation of the “works of the flesh.
When the believer is one who knows the life after the spirit; although they will quickly reach the sphere of the flesh if not recognized, and dealt with in sharp refusal and resistance.
4). He should know when his spirit is in the right position of dominance over soul and body, and yet not driven beyond due measure by the exigencies of conflict or environment.
There are three conditions of the spirit which the believer should be able to discern and deal with, i.e.,
1). The spirit depressed crushed or “down.”
2). the spirit in its right position in poise and calm control.
3). The spirit is drawn out beyond “poise,” or in “flight.” When the man walks after the spirit and discerns it to be in either of these conditions. He knows how to “lift” it when it is depressed; and how to check the over-action by a quiet act of his volition, when it is drawn out of poise by over-eagerness, or drive of spiritual foes.
We have just had the foundation of how important putting on the whole armour of God is and some insight of how the enemy is going to attack us and the effectiveness of the armour.
Also if you have the armour on and have your walk in the right place otherwise a fervent heart for Yeshua (Jesus Christ), you might as well not put it on.
So we need the whole outfit to withstand the wiles of the enemy and join the front line. Remember Jesse Penn Lewis advised we need to connect spiritually with Yeshua (Jesus Christ) in Heaven.
Well, Our enemies strive to prevent our spiritual ascent to heaven, to deprive us of those heavenly blessings and obstruct our communion with Yeshua.
As the archangel, Michael contended with the devil over the body of Moses (Jude 1:9). We must recognize and deepen our faith to partake in our Spiritual Warfare as we grapple with our spiritual enemies.
And have faith in our Christian work, because we have the spiritual strength to fetch in. To recognize our danger and through God’s grace not yield to Satan Resist him and he will flee. Yeshua (Jesus Christ) laid the template for us to use through His answers when facing the three temptations. John 4:1 – 13.
If in any way we distrust our cause or leader or the armour we give Satan the advantage. We must in all cases withstand his assaults stick it out to the end of the battle having done that as soldiers of Yeshua the warfare will be accomplished, and we shall be victorious. (Ephesians 1:22-23).
To understand how to use the armour both offensive and defensive here is Matthew Henry (1662 – 1774) giving a description piece by piece
“The military girdle or belt, the breastplate the greaves ( or soldiers shoes), the shield, the helmet, and the sword. There is none for the back if we turn our back upon the enemy, we lie exposed.
Truth or sincerity is our girdle (Ephesians 6:14). It was prophesied of Yeshua (Isaiah 11:5) that righteousness should be the girdle of his loins and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.
That which Yeshua was girdled with all Christians must be girded with. God desires truth, that is, sincerity, in the inwards parts.
Righteousness must be our breast-plate. The breast-plate secures the vitals, shelters the heart. The righteousness of Yeshua imputed to us is our breastplate against the arrows of divine wrath.
It fortifies the heart against the attacks which Satan makes against us. The breastplate of faith and love include all Christian graces for by faith we are united to Yeshua and by love to our brethren. These will infer a diligent observance of our duty to God, and an honourable deportment towards men, in all the offices of justice, truth, and charity.
The resolution must be the greaves to our legs. The preparation of the gospel of peace signifies a prepared and resolved frame of heart, to adhere to the doctrine and abide by it, which will enable us to walk with a steady pace in the way of religion, notwithstanding the difficulties and dangers that may be in it.
Faith must be our shield: above all, or chiefly taking the shield of faith (Eph 6:16). This more necessary than any of them. Faith is all in all to us in an hour of temptation.
The breast-plate secures the vitals, but with the shield, we turn every way. This is the victory over the world, even our faith.
We are to be fully persuaded of the truth of all God’s promises and threatenings, such as faith being of great use against temptations.
Faith, as receiving Yeshua and the benefits of redemption, so deriving grace from him, is like a shield, a sort of stellar defence. Violent temptations, by which the soul is set on fire of hell, are the darts which Satan shoots at us.
Faith is the shield with which we must quench these “fiery darts,” wherein we should receive them, and so render them ineffectual, that they may not hit us, or at least that they may not hurt us. Faith acted upon the word of God and applying that, acted upon the grace of Christ and improving that, quenches the darts of temptation.
Salvation must be our helmet (Eph.6:17) that is, hope, which has salvation for its object so (1Thess.5:8). The helmet secures the head. A real hope of Salvation. Well-founded and well built, will both purify the soul and keep it from being defiled by Satan, and it will comfort the heart and keep it from being troubled and tormented by Satan. He would tempt us to despair, but real hope keeps us trusting in God, and rejoicing in Him.
The word of God is the Sword of the Spirit. The sword is a vital, and useful part of a soldier’s armament. The Word of God is essential, and of great use to the Christian, to his maintaining the spiritual warfare and succeeding in it.
It is called the sword of the Spirit because it is the Spirit’s inditing and he renders it efficacious and powerful and sharper than a two-edged sword.
Scripture arguments are the most persuasive arguments to repel temptation with. Christ himself resisted Satan’s temptations with, It is written, (Matt. 4:4,6,7,10).
Prayer must buckle on all the other parts of our Christian armour, (Eph. 6:18) We must join prayer with all these graces, for our defence against these spiritual enemies, imploring help and assistance of God, as the cases require: and we must pray always.
CLOSING COMMENTS by Robert
Here, we have been shown how to take off the clothes of evil and replace them with the armour of God. These pieces of armour have come with very explicit instructions on how to wear them and how to use them once in place as well just how powerful they are. We also learned that if our hearts are not sincere, the armour is useless.
Please recognize there is no middle ground you cannot be lukewarm and remain on the narrow path to Life and Eternity.
I realize there will be those who will read this either partway and fall into their own minds of believing the Worldly teachings God is Love and protects all of His children once they are born again and baptized.
One thing they forget we are instructed to work out our Salvation daily, and there are no exceptions not even Apostles were exempt.
Earlier I said there are many wounded and disabled Christians know this on your journey you will see them on the broad path waving their swords ineffectively but believing they are in the real battle.
I say “cast your nets in their direction in the hope they will see the pure light and true freedom as they are fallen comrades needing guidance, correction, and help.
Jesse Penn-Lewis (1861 – 1927) brings this warning to all no matter the length of time we have walked with our Lord if we are just having our eyes opened to the real spiritual world and the battles lying ahead, please recognize this is your most dangerous time.
It is just here that the ignorance of the believer about
(1). The spiritual world now opened to him,
(2). The workings of evil powers in that realm, and
(3). The conditions upon which God works in and through him gives the enemy his opportunity. It is the time of greatest peril for every believer, unless he is instructed and prepared, as the disciples were for three whole years by the Lord.
The danger lies along the lines of supernatural “guidance,” through not knowing the condition of cooperation with the Holy Spirit, and how to discern the will of God.
CLOSING PRAYER by Robert
Father, it is with humility I approach your throne with this prayer of thanksgiving and appreciation for your guidance and teachings through the Holy Spirit.
I thank you, Father, for the knowledge you have bestowed upon us and the lifting of the veils of darkness from our eyes so we are to discern the evil in our lives and who our real enemy is.
We thank you, Father,, for providing us with your armour to face our enemy with and the instructions of how to use those weapons to remain safe in your service.
We thank you, Father, for the very life we have and those things which enhance our walk reflecting your light into the darkness allowing us to remain to cast our nets as”Fisher’s of Men.” This I pray in the name of Yeshua. Amen and Amen.
Remember, I am just a humble servant bringing this to you as a messenger of Yeshua. God’s blessings
Proverbs 11:27-28 He that diligently seeketh good procureth favour: but he that seeketh mischief, it shall come unto him. He that trusteth in his riches shall fall: but the righteous shall flourish as a branch.
PRE-AMBLE by Robert Good men are generally well-beloved by their Neighbours, but nobody cares for wicked people. It is true there are some few that are enemies to the righteous, that is prejudiced against God and godliness, and are therefore vexed to see good men in power and prosperity but all indifferent persons, even those that have no great stock of religion themselves, have a good word for a good man.
OPENING STATEMENT by Robert
But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. In the following report, we should find how the power of God is at work.
I don’t know if you agree, but something invisible came and put everything in its place. Suddenly gas prices went down, pollution went down, people started to have more time – so much time that they do not know what to do with it – parents are spending time with their kids as a family, work is no longer a priority, or travelling or social life either. Suddenly we silently see within ourselves and understand the value of the words “solidarity”, “love”, “strength”, “empathy” and “faith”. In an instant, we realized that we are all in the same boat; rich and poor. That the supermarket shelves are empty, and the hospitals are full. New cars and old cars also stand in the garages, simply because nobody can get out. Empty streets, less pollution, clean air, the land also breathes. The human returns to his origins, realizing that with or without money, the important thing is to survive. Today, health is the main thing, even in spite of wanting to have or possessing. It took 6 days for the universe to establish the social equality that was said to be impossible. Fear invaded everyone. At least this happened to realize the vulnerability of the human being. Nature is forcing us to clean up the mess we made ourselves. Our overthrown gods: -Money -Sports -Fame -Politics What the coronavirus is teaching us: -Our best protection: GOD -Our best refuge: HOME – Our best company: FAMILY – Our real-time: TODAY – Nature’s call: STOP US – Its message: WAIT, RESPECT We are not gods, we are not kings, we do not have the power of controlling everything. We are part of a whole, fragile, brittle and vulnerable something. Part of a whole something that we wanted to dominate & today is telling us: stop, breathe, respect. Go back to the basics, to the essentials, that the peace of your soul guide you towards what you are: a CREATION. I copied this from someone else’s wall because indeed this is the reflection that we must have TODAY!!!
Today’s detractors state God does not attend to His children as He did with Elijah in 1 Kings 18:37-39 demonstrating His power through the sacrifice. I state we have been shown how God has presently demonstrated His power using an invisible tool to bring the world to a halt. Elijah’s cry to God applies to our condition today: “Hear me, O Lord, hear me, that these people may know that thou art the Lord God, and that thou hast turned their heart back again. [38] Then the fire of the Lord fell and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench. [39] And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces: and they said, The Lord, he is the God; the Lord, he is the God.”

PRE-AMBLE by Robert
When it comes to measuring our values what we draw our standards and beliefs societally from are based on carnal knowledge (Debates, Courts, Legislature) none of it matters. Our carnal laws are derived from God’s laws which are the foundation for keeping order within our lives and societies. I believe God does not see us as the carnal being he created. He sees us as the spirit He breathed into the vessel in His image, the soul which the Holy Spirit filled with God’s knowledge that we would know we were a unique creation connected to God until Satan tempted us through Adam and Eve to know sin and death. From the moment we draw our first breath “as one so wonderfully fashioned” by God in the womb (Job 31:15), we enter into our journey through life to reconnect with God Spiritually through Yeshua before our carnal temple expires. However, as time progresses, we learn that part of our journey to reconnect with God is a personal choice we alone must make to walk to the right or walk to the left (Ecclesiastes 10:2).
In 2016, I watched the final USA presidential candidates debate. In the oration, several quips were exchanged between the candidates. However, there was a woman candidate, who shocked and deeply saddened me. When she openly and pridefully admitted to condoning “Full Term Abortion” (murder of an infant).
Her brazen statement in my mind brought forward this question; “Have we as a society and followers of Yeshua allowed ourselves to move to the left of reason and condone uncaringly, the acceptance of taking a life?” Two points I desire to make: 1) There cannot be any Enmity before God. 2) If you witness a crime and do or say nothing about it; you are just as guilty as the person committing that offense (sin or Enmity). Let us take heed lest we in any way make ourselves guilty of other men’s sins against God (1Timothy 5:22).
In Gods’ eyes, it matters not what man’s wisdom states is right or wrong or whether you believe a fetus is human or can live outside of the womb or what side you consider to be correct; or what the highest courts of the land say, “God’s law prevails,” and he states “Thou shalt do no murder (Matt. 19:18).” And whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment. (Matt. 5:21)” Yeshua warned what would lie ahead for those who harm little ones. Please note: God doesn’t specify born or unborn little ones, check Matt. 18: 6 – 7But whoso shall offend one of these little ones, which, believe in me, it was better for him that a millstone was hanged about his neck, and that he was drowned in the depth of the sea.V.7: Woe unto the world because of offenses! For it must, needs are that offenses come; but woe to that man by whom the offense cometh!
And then pray for compassion and forgiveness for those who have erred out of silence, inaction and especially out of unbelief or hard-heartedness. Do not err as many will want to dismiss this warning by categorizing it through worldly interpretations. Matthew 24:35Heaven and Earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. God’s commandments apply today as they did in Moses’ era. They, God’s commandments, like it or not, are the foundation of our Laws and Constitutions which are drawn up through the actions of those who followed and interpreted God’s commandments as our earlier lawmakers, did then and should do now.
TRUMPETER’S CALL
Sounding the Trumpet. Ezekiel 33:3 – 5, v:3If when he seeth the sword come upon the land. He blows the Trumpet and warn the people; v:4 Then whosoever heareth the sound of the Trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword comes, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. v:5 He heard the sound of the Trumpet and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul.
I was shown to call for all believers to come together as an army to do Spiritual Warfare and prayed the Lord would rain, wisdom and discernment upon all that they might know their enemy and how to fight them. That Trumpet is still sounding for recruits and prayer warriors as the battle deepens.
Hear the “Warning Trumpet,” take itseriously I pray. It matters not what you think of me, or if you believe what I am showing as a sign; know this, it all comes down to your choice to walk to the right or the left.
Woe unto you leaders who hear and heed not. Woe unto you who would be seen as Hirelings who would shepherd without Spiritual discernment.
Our nations are in a great battle between Good and Evil being fought under the guise of two different political ideologies. One seen as a movement to restore the countries to Greatness again which is being fervently attacked from all sides and levels. Because as it exposes the underbelly of the nations it as well reveals the depth of corruption and evil which exists and more importantly who is languishing within it.
The party to the left is campaigning under the guise of bringing the countries and people together offering multitudes of empty promises used to maintain absolute control over the masses through discord and poverty. This party and its leaders are being exposed to those who will hear and see to what depth of evil these leaders have sunken into and are willing to sacrifice spiritually to win back power. James 3:16 For where envying and strife are, there is confusion and every evil work.
That Evil reared its ugly head through a woman who brazenly stood before the nation (USA), and declared its position to millions of people through her declaration that full-term abortions (Murder) were quite alright in the name of preserving a woman’s life. At that very moment, the population she represented placed enmity before God (Proverbs 12:15 “The way of a fool is right in his own eyes but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.“) Keep in mind I am not speaking about a heinous crime committed against people, but against Yeshua, as it is He who fashions us in the womb check out Job 31:15: “Did not he that made me in the womb make him? And did not one fashion us in the womb?”
HERE ENDS THE SOUNDING OF THE TRUMPET
OPENING PRAYER by Robert
Brothers and Sisters in Yeshua (Jesus Christ) I pray for our Heavenly Father to rain discernment unto all believers walking in the teachings of Yeshua. Lord these days are filled with all forms of spirits shrouding the minds of your children. I humbly ask Father you would loose unto them Angels to sever the cords of delusion, and confusion. Have the Angels clear their minds of all hard-heartedness towards unborn children to bring into them a spirit of compassion and understanding of whose children these really are. I pray Yeshua in your name You would once again make the womb a haven for all unborn children. Strengthen those joining the Spiritual battle against the evil fomenting under the guise of carnal knowledge pleasing their fleshly desires. Guide us Father to the right and your light. This I pray in your name Yeshua. Amen and Amen.
OPENING COMMENTARY by Robert
Modern-day Disciples, here we are in the Den of Wolves knowing what our mission is, as did the Apostles when they ventured forth. Yeshua has prepared us for the tasks ahead. In this article, he is revealing what depth we will need to take the word to.
The following is a commentary on King Solomon’s wisdom shown in Ecclesiastes 10:16 – 20:The happiness of a land depends on the character of its rulers. The people cannot be happy when their princes are childish, and lovers of pleasure. Slothfulness is of ill consequence both to private and public affairs. Money, of itself, will neither feed nor clothe, though it answers the occasions of this present life, as what is to be had, may generally be had for money.
But the soul, as it is not redeemed, so it is not maintained with corruptible things, as silver and gold. God sees what men do, and hears what they say in secret; and, when he pleases, brings it to light in strange and unsuspected ways. If there be a hazard in secret thoughts and whispers against earthly rulers, what must be the peril from every deed, word, or thought of rebellion against the King of kings, and Lord of lords! He seeth in secret. His ear is ever open. Sinner! curse not THIS KING in thy inmost thought. Your curses cannot affect Him; but his curse, coming down upon you, will sink you to the lowest hell.
Those especially who make a profession of religion should keep from all appearances of evil. A wise man has a significant advantage over a fool, who is always at a loss when he has anything to do. Sin is the reproach of sinners, wherever they go, and shows their folly.
Of the many who hear the report of the gospel, there are a few, very few, that believe it. It is reported openly and publicly, not whispered in a corner, or confined to the schools, but proclaimed to all and it is so faithful a saying, and so well worthy of all acceptance, that one would think it should be universally received and believed. But it is quite otherwise few believed the prophets who spoke before of Yeshua when he came himself none of the rulers or the Pharisees followed him.
To this day of the many that profess to believe this report, there are few that cordially embrace it and submit to the power.
If we recognize and understand we can be found in sin and held accountable through our inaction towards a sin. Then we must acknowledge as modern-day disciples there are many who have not chosen to walk to the right of Yeshua and many identify themselves walking on the left. Not recognizing the consequences or not wanting to know them.
Most of mankind do not consider the things of another world at all because they are asleep, or they do not consider them aright because they sleep and dream. Our moderation as to all earthly things should be known to all men. Shall Believers, who have the light of the blessed gospel shining in their faces, be careless about their souls, and unmindful of another world?
Modern-Day Disciples, we must teach We need the spiritual Armour, or the three Christian graces, faith, love, and hope. Faith: if we believe that the eye of God is always upon us, that there is another world to prepare for, we shall see a reason to watch and be sober. True and fervent love to God and the things of God will keep us watchful and sober. If we have the hope of salvation, let us take heed of anything that would shake our trust in the Lord. \
We have ground on which to build unshaken hope, when we consider, that salvation is by our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, to atone for our sins and to ransom our souls. We should join in prayer and praise one another. We should set a good example one before another, and this is the best means to answer the end of society. Thus, we shall learn how to live with Him, with whom we hope to live forever.
As modern-day disciples of the gospel, we are described by the work of our office, which is to serve and honour the Lord. It is our duty not only to give good counsel, but also to warn the flock of dangers, and reprove for whatever may be amiss. The people should honour and love those who minister because their business is the welfare of men’s souls. And the people should be at peace among themselves, doing all they can to guard against any differences. But the love of peace must not make us wink at sin. The fearful and sorrowful spirits should be encouraged, and a kind word may do much good. We must bear and forbear. We must be long-suffering, and keep down anger, and this to all men. Whatever man does to us, we must do good to others.
We find Solomon sharing his experience so we as modern-day disciples, having received wisdom from Yeshua would know how to use that gift. “Solomon presses the rich to do good to others. Give freely, though it may seem thrown away and lost. Give to many. Excuse not thyself with the good thou hast done, from the good thou hast further to do. It is not lost, but well laid out. We have reason to expect evil, for we are born to trouble; it is wisdom to do good in the day of prosperity. Riches cannot profit us if we do not benefit others.
Every man mustlabour to be a blessing to that place where the providence of God casts him. Wherever we are, we may find good work to do, if we have but hearts to do it. If we magnify every little difficulty, start objections, and fancy hardships, we shall never go on, much less go through with our work. Winds and clouds of tribulation are, in God’s hands, designed to try us. God’s work shall agree with his word, whether we see it or not. And we may well trust God to provide for us, without our anxious, disquieting cares. Be not weary in well-doing, for in due season, in God’s time, you shall reap.”
CLOSING COMMENTS by Robert
In all of what has been revealed and taught over these past months, it appears we as “modern-day disciples.” are offering a simple choice. For some, that option is a choice of where they will walk with Yeshua on His right or left. What they are about to recognize is this choice will resonate into eternity for them. I am sure like many who hold on the right of Yeshua I ponder how those who choose the Left cannot see the folly which is their whole life. I wondered why some people were going through life moving from one drama to the next, never finding peace. How they will search their whole life for answers and never see them. How many will substitute carnal knowledge for Godly wisdom, which brings peace, and laughs and mocks peace while never finding it themselves?
I am closing by quoting Solomon’s advice to all young people. “Life is sweet to bad men because they have their portion in this life; it is sweet to good men because it is the time of preparation for a better; it is sweet to all. Here is a caution to think of death, even when life is most sweet. Solomon makes an affecting address to young people. “If they would desire an opportunity to pursue every pleasure. Then follow your desires but be assured that God will call you into judgment. How many give into every appetite, and rush into every vicious pleasure!”
Here King Solomon cautions: But God registers every one of your sinful thoughts and desires, your idle words, and wicked words. If you would avoid remorse and terror if you would have hope and comfort on a dying bed if you would escape misery here and hereafter, then remember the vanity of youthful pleasures. KingSolomon means to condemn the pleasures of sin is evident. His object, draw the young to purer and more lasting joys.
Modern-day Disciples,” we need to relate to the youth, King Solomon’s language is not one grudging youthful pleasures because he can no longer partake of them; but of one who has, by a miracle of mercy, been brought back to safety. Solomon “would persuade the young from trying a course whence so few returns. If the young would live a life of true happiness, if they would secure happiness hereafter, let them remember their Creator in the days of their youth.”
CLOSING PRAYER by Robert
May our Heavenly Father have mercy and rain forgiveness unto all the nations, its youth, parents, families, teachers, and leaders. Bestow on them your wisdom and discernment that they will all make the proper choice within their heart of where to follow. This I pray in the name of Yeshua Amen and Amen.
Remember, these articles are given as warnings from a humble servant as God’s
Watchman bringing His warnings to the flock of impending dangers. I pray for all to be covered with Yeshua’s blessings. Be at peace and in faith as you journey forward doing God’s calling and work. As Yeshua said, be as wise as a serpent and gentle as a dove. Times are now, we must all be aware of our surroundings, and who it is we are dealing with. “And Yeshua through the Holy Spirit said unto me, “My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.”
These promises of God may safely be depended upon; for here we have two things which cannot change, the counsel and the oath of God, in which it is not possible for God to lie; it would be contrary to his nature as well as to his will. Continue reading →
