COMMENTARY

Satan knew he could not destroy man but could capture his soul by debauching him. Matthew 10:28 KJV
And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Balaam could not curse Israel, but he could tempt Israel, Revelation 2:14. The game therefore which Satan had to play was to draw our first parents to sin, and so to separate them and their God. Thus the devil was, from the beginning, a murderer, and the great mischief-maker.

The whole race of mankind had here, as it were, but one neck, and at that Satan struck. The adversary and enemy is that wicked one.

SPIRITUAL FOUNDATION!

OBSERVATION!

We all know the consequences of those actions as we live them daily having a physical presence in Satan’s domain which as Pilgrims we daily journey through!

MY JULY 16TH, 2025 PRAYER FOR ALL THE PILGRIMS OF TODAY!

Father in heaven we bring before your throne our iniquities and place them at your feet so we might be shown the truth and our hearts softened and rid of them. Be with us Lord that we might receive your guidance to a renewed discernment, remove from us all doubt and fears. Replace them with knowledge, understanding, your love, and wisdom.

As we have prayed Lord to bring us to still waters that you might restore our souls. Instruct us through the Holy Spirit so we might find the path of righteousness in your name’s sake. And all of God’s children say, Amen, and Amen in the name of Jehovah Jireh our provider of all things righteous and Holy!
