I NOW KNOW WHY OUR LORD STATED THEY LOVED DARKNESS MORE THAN THE LIGHT OF LIFE!

John 3:19 KJV
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

SPIRITUAL FOUNDATION!

2 Corinthians 5:16. We do not own nor affect any person or thing in this world for carnal ends and outward advantage: we are enabled, by divine grace, not to mind nor regard this world, nor the things of this world, but to live above it.

OBSERVATION

Take note of the importance of the last five words of this verse! They tell you, why we, as followers and believers of Yeshua’s guidance and teachings MUST not conform in any way with the WORLD as you should recognize your life is as a NEW BORN SPIRIT.

Now above the universal laws holding the walking dead in bondage! Having been freed from that death and it’s

bondage!

Now being weaned of the world:  “Henceforth we know no man after the flesh.

The love of Christ is in our hearts, and the world is under our feet!” Note: good Christians must enjoy the comforts of this life, and their relations in this world, with a holy indifference.

This ought to be the care of all who profess the Christian faith, that they be new creatures; not only that they have a new name, and wear a new livery, but that they have a new heart and new nature.

And so great is the change the grace of God makes in the soul, that, as it follows, old things are passed away – old thoughts, old principles, and old practices, are passed away; and all these things must become new. Romans 12:2
[2]And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Note: regenerating grace creates a new world in the soul; all things are new. The renewed man acts from new principles, by new rules, with new ends, and in  new company! 1 John 2:15
[15]Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

Learning is the first step of recognizing the love and compassion, of God which we must all share as it is the love Yeshua has placed in our hearts when we answered his call to follow him!

2 Corinthians 5:15 KJV
And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

I ponder this verse and hold it before those who continue to grasp onto the wisdom of this world claiming that all old things are dead? I draw your attention to Matthew 21:19 KJV
And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.

As I pondered this verse thoughts passed before me. Many continue grasping unto the worldly wisdom and profess walking with the Lord. Could these in the eyes of Yeshua be seen in the same light as the fig tree, green and lush, bearing many postulates to a similar walk, but offering no spiritual fruits?

Much like the original Exodus Israelites whom the lord saw as stiffnecked and dealt with them as he did the fig tree!

Regenerating grace creates a new world in the soul; all things are new. The renewed man acts from new principles, by new rules, with new ends, and in new company.

OBSERVATION

It seems for some they have come to a Y in the path of their journey, offering them a choice! Do you continue in what you believe is a righteous walk? Or choose to walk as a newborn spirit abiding in righteousness without compromise without the fear of death holding you in bondage! Hebrews 2:15
[15]And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

CLOSING OBSERVATION!

I point out to all who are reading my posts that my devotion, service, surrendering, and offering of love comply with Exodus 20:3 KJV
Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Some state they too conform to this belief in a personal relationship with Yeshua, and with the next breath tell me they worship and walk within one of the many denominations man has created to do so!

I bring forward this thought for you to ponder, as we are taught you cannot have two masters! 

Matthew 6:24 KJV
No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Being sworn to a denomination if you ponder the creeds sworn to, they bring you under a taskmaster!

Don’t get me wrong we need shepherds to lead, teach, guide, and protect, along with fellowship, however not as one under a creed! Matthew 18:20 KJV
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

And I place this challenge before all to show me where in the scriptures there is one denomination named? And please note even our Lord in the book of Revelation named the early churches by the city or towns these churches were founded in, but they were not denominations, but congregations that identified the different areas the Apostles had founded the churches in so all could worship!

Throughout the scriptures we’re taught our relationship with Yeshua is our only doorway back to the Heavenly Father Yahweh John 14:6 KJV
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

1 Timothy 2:5 KJV
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

personally as the individual I was created in His image and as a child of God whether by heritage as Jewish or as a Gentile adopted into the family. But as the individual Yahweh created as His children!

Ponder this message Ezekiel 33:9-11
[9]Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
[10]Therefore, O thou son of man, speak unto the house of Israel; Thus ye speak, saying, If our transgressions and our sins be upon us, and we pine away in them, how should we then live?
[11]Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

Galatians 4:5-8
[5]To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
[6]And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
[7]Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
