SPIRITUAL FOUNDATION

Jeremiah 48:10
[10]Cursed be he that doeth the work of the LORD deceitfully, and cursed be he that keepeth back his sword from blood.

OBSERVATION!

In my recent postings, I warned that walking as the Exodus Israelites did, who exited Egypt as stiffnecked believers being determined in their believed rightousness, carries a consequence, not only to those being warned but as well to any who hear this truth and refuse to heed or share the Watchman’s forward warning, which we see our Heavenly Father highlighting in Jeremiah 48:10. Cursed be he that does the work of the Lord deceitfully, this bloody work, this destroying work though it goes against the grain with men of compassion, yet it is the work of the Lord, and must not be done by the halves.

The Watchman’s warning as taken from Jeremiah 48:10 to repel those walking in union with paganism,  therefore they must not be revered, must not out of foolish pity, not face your double edged swords rebuke and thereby bring Yahewa’s word, and a curse, upon yourselves, as Saul did by sparing the Amalekites and Ahab by letting Benhadad go.

Your life shall go for his life. To this work is applied that general rule given to all that are employed in any service for God, Cursed is he that does the work of the Lord deceitfully or negligently, that pretends to do it, but does it not to purpose, makes a show of serving God’s glory, but is really serving his own ends and carries on the work of the Lord no further than will suit your own purposes (Christ must remain in union with Paganistic beliefs), or that is slothful in business for God and takes neither care nor pains to do it as it should be done, Malachi 1:14
[14]But cursed be the deceiver, which hath in his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the Lord a corrupt thing: for I am a great King, saith the LORD of hosts, and my name is dreadful among the heathen. Let not such deceive themselves, for God will not be mocked.

My question to be pondered; Will, when your praises, meant to be placed at the throne of our Heavenly Father, are unioned with paganism and are utilized instead to deify a reborn Christ annually, place those doing so under the direct condemnation of Jeremiah 48:10
[10]Cursed be he that doeth the work of the LORD deceitfully, and cursed be he that keepeth back his sword from blood?

As our Lord’s Watchman I bring this knowledge forward for all, however, more specifically for the pastors, teachers ministers, and Evangelists.

Let the rulers in the house of God know that there is one above them who will reckon with them for their mal-administration. 

Thus saith the Lord of hosts to you, O priests! 

Malachi 1:6-7,14
[6]A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith the LORD of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name?
[7]Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of the LORD is contemptible.
[14]But cursed be the deceiver, which hath in his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the Lord a corrupt thing: for I am a great King, saith the LORD of hosts, and my name is dreadful among the heathen.

God has a saying to unfaithful ministers and it concerns those who speak from God to his people to hear and heed what he says to them, that they may save themselves in the first place, otherwise how should they help to save those that hear them?

It is a severe, and no doubt a just reproof, that is here given to you the leaders, for the defamation of the holy things of God, with which you are entrusted and, if this is the crime of the leaders, we have reason to fear the people also are guilty of it: so that what is said to the leader’s is said to all, nay, it is said to us, who, as Christians, profess ourselves, not only the people of God, but priests to him.

COMMENTARY!

Children and servants pay respect to their parents and masters every one cries out shame on them if they do not, and their own hearts cannot but reproach them too the order of families is thus kept up, and it is their beauty and advantage.

But the priests, who are God’s children and his servants, do not fear and honour him. They were fathers and masters to the people, and expected to be called so (Judges 18:19; Matthew 22:7,10) and to be reverenced and obeyed as such but they forgot their Father and Master in heaven, and the duty they owed to him.

We may each of us charge upon ourselves what is here charged upon the priests. Note, We are every one of us to look upon God as our Father and Master, and upon ourselves as his children and servants. 

Our relation to God as our Father and Master strongly obliges us to fear and honour him. If we honour and fear the fathers of our flesh, much more the Father and Master of our spirits, Hebrews 12:9

It is a thing to be justly complained of and lamented that God is so little feared and honoured even by those that own him for their Father and Master. Where is his honour? Where is his fear?

CLOSING OBSERVATION!

The Watchman’s Trumpet has sounded, now the choice is upon you, and you alone, to determine your path.

Ezekiel 33:7 KJV
So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me. Please note: Adopted are a part of the house of Israel!
