Psalms 23:5
[5]Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

And to possess our Lord’s gifts and presence we must partake in his words being shared as we sit at the table he presents as his fare he is present where two or more share his word our lord and Saviour is with us then.

Those who believe they know him and pass on his table setting know not who they refuse to sit with. Matthew 18:20 NLT
For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them.

“Know ye not that the Watchman brings, not condemnation, but the light to reveal where your path is leading you! A Watchman brings knowledge of a choice you must make.

Ezekiel 33:9
[9]Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

Warning the content you are about to partake may offend some because in their wisdom, they refuse to heed Jeremiah 33:3
[3]Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

who His own self bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness; by whose stripes ye were healed.

Matthew 10:1
[1]And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

OBSERVATION!

As I researched about holding authority over evil for deliverance it became clear that it is the same authority Yeshua had placed with the twelve apostles.

Matthew 10:1
[1]And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

This authority is just waiting for those of the Ecclesia to claim it! But find are lacking the will to claim it, as our enemy Satan has brought confusion among the brethren through their ignorance of God’s Laws as they have neglected seeking more about them. Jeremiah 33:3.

COMMENTARY!

We are not only so disobedient that we have need of precept upon precept to bring us to our duty, but so distrustful that we have need of promise upon promise to bring us to our comfort. This word, as the former, came to Jeremiah when he was in prison. Note, No confinement can deprive God’s people of his presence no locks nor bars can shut out his gracious visits nay, oftentimes as their afflictions abound their consolations much more abound, and they have the most reviving communications of his favour when the world frowns upon them.

Jehovah is his name, a God giving being to his promises by the performance of them, and when he does this, he is known by that name (Exodus 6:3), a perfecting God.

When the heavens and the earth were finished, then, and not till then, the creator is called Jehovah, Genesis 2:4.

OBSERVATION!

How this comfort must be obtained and fetched in by prayer (Jeremiah 33:3): Call upon me, and I will answer them.

The prophet, having received some intimations of this kind, must be humbly earnest with God for further discoveries of his kind intentions.

He had prayed (Jeremiah 32:16), but he must pray again. Note, Those who expect to receive comforts from God must continue instant in prayer.

We must call upon him, and then he will answer us. Christ himself must ask, and it shall be given him, Psalms 2:8. I will show thee great and mighty things (give you a clear and full prospect of them), hidden things, which, though in part discovered already, yet you knowest not, you cannot understand or give credit to.

Or this may refer not only to the prediction of these things which Jeremiah, if he desire it, shall be favoured with, but to the performance of the things themselves which the people of God, encouraged by this prediction, must pray for. Note, promises are given, not to supersede, but to quicken and encourage prayer. See Ezekiel 36:37.

COMMENTARY!

The people of God might be discouraged in their hopes of a restoration by the sense not only of their unworthiness of such a favour (which was answered, in  Ezekiel 36:1-24, with this, that God, in doing it, would have an eye to his own glory, not to their worthiness), but of their unfitness for such a favour, being still corrupt and sinful and that is answered in these verses, with a promise that God would by his grace prepare and qualify them for the mercy and then bestow it on them.

And this was in part fulfilled in that wonderful effect which the captivity in Babylon had upon the Jews there, that it effectually cured them of their inclination to idolatry.

But it is further intended as a draught of the covenant of grace and a specimen of those spiritual blessings with which we are blessed in heavenly things by that covenant.

Romans 12:2
[2]And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
