In the days of Moses and the Israelite Exodus from Egypt, the Lord gave them a symbol to paint on their door jams, the blood of a sacrificed Lamb, so the angel of death would pass them by.

For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the Lord. [13] And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you when I smite the land of Egypt.

Today we are being shown there is a darkness about to enter our world filled with all forms of evil.

Our symbol of the Lamb’s blood was spilled some 2024 years ago; Yeshua was that sacrifice.

This current calm is our opportunity to make sure our temple is covered with the blood of the Lamb.

We are given this information on some of the evil in order to prepare with knowledge about what is coming.

2 Timothy 1:7 KJV
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.

The devil carries on his designs by blinding the eyes of men, by putting out light and knowledge, and promoting ignorance and error. Out of this darkness, there will be a swarm of locusts,

Emblems of the devil’s agents promoting superstition, idolatry, error, and cruelty.

The trees and the grass, the true believers, whether young or more advanced, should be untouched. But a secret poison and infection in the soul will rob many others of purity and afterward their peace. The locusts will have no power to hurt those whose temples are covered with the blood of the Lamb.

God’s all-powerful, distinguishing grace will keep his people from total and final apostasy. In such events, the faithful share the common calamity, but they might and will be safe from the pestilence of error.
