SPIRITUAL FOUNDATION!

Matthew 14:29-30 NLT
“Yes, come,” Yeshua said. So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus. [30] But when he saw the strong wind and the waves, he was terrified and began to sink. “Save me, Lord!” he shouted.

OBSERVATION!

In Matthew 14:29, you see the depth of Peter’s faith, lifting Peter out of the universal laws of the world and identifies his presence in the kingdom of God, gifting him the ability to walk on water and move forward to Yeshua.

In Matthew 14:30, we find the simple weapon Satan uses to bring Peter and many of today’s Ecclesia back into relying on the universal laws of the world. “Doubt!” Brought about by the fear of the turmoil he sees waiting ahead.

2 Timothy 1:7 NLT
For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.

Many in the Ecclesia fail to recognize how they like Peter, are allowing the spirit of doubt to function in their lives due to  their limited trust in Yeshua’s promises.

Like Peter, the foreseen turmoil eliminates the power of the  spiritual gifts and draws those walking with Yeshua to once again be reliant on worldly wisdoms instead of Yeshua’s promises!

Matthew 6:25
[25]Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

Here is a tidbit of information to ponder! If you have to tell others your statement is not “doubt,” then in reality, in your heart, it is “doubt!“

CLOSING OBSERVATION!

When there is doubt in our hearts, hidden or known, as children of God, we  eliminate the Lord’s protection, promises, and gifts and are subject to the condemnations of God’s laws where the curses of Egypt apply as they did to those who were stiff necked. And like they were subjected to God’s purging as they wandered for 40 year’s. Today’s doubters are in a Spiritual desert wandering until God purges them due to unbelief.

Doubt opens the door for the enemy to plant his seeds through our thoughts. Here is a Tidbit to ponder. A thought in your mind is not a sin. Until you act upon it, then it becomes your sin because you accepted it.

Ponder this observation, a portion of the Ecclesia suffer the pains of Satan’s attacks, some to the point where years of their lives are shortened and stolen. Ephesians 6:12
[12]For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. These are the spiritual weapons Satan uses to inflict discomfort and steal many years of life. When I research the scriptures, I find in these following verses some of Yahewa’s promises for long life and even where we can obtain our eternal existence in this life, as we journey through the valley of the living dead (the carnal world). Psalms 91:4
[4]He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Then we see in these verses his further promises.

Psalms 91:16
[16]With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

Ephesians 6:3 NLT
If you honor your father and mother, “things will go well for you, and you will have a long life on the earth.”

What more can we seek than what Yeshua’s sacrifice offers Romans 5:21 NLT
So just as sin ruled over all people and brought them to death, now God’s wonderful grace rules instead, giving us right standing with God and resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
