ROBERT’S OPEN DECLARATION!
My position in presenting these postings is done not as a pastor, minister, or teacher of God’s words. They are brought forward as messages to be discerned by those receiving them and choosing personally how to react. Scriptural foundation for their delivery Ezekiel 33:9
Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
It is with great love for all given to me by Yeshua that you are receiving them. Luke 10:16
[16]He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me. And all of God’s children say Amen and Amen
SCRIPTURAL FOUNDATION!

COMMENTARY!
How many can say they have never spoken this phrase? “I WAS JUST TOO BUSY LIVING LIFE!” Many will seriously strive to save and invest to secure their retired life; which only lasts for a limited time!” Why do we not as unique creations bring to the table the same fervor demonstrated in saving and preparing for retirement? When it comes to developing a spiritual and lasting relationship with Yeshua?
Most lose that drive when it comes to investing in our spiritual wellbeing, which by the way, lasts into Eternity. The thought which comes to mind and I hear it a lot “I was just too busy in living life.”
Earlier this month to be exact June 27th, 2023, I posted this information. https://romboughrobert.wordpress.com/2023/06/27/our-time-here-is-precious-which-wisdom-are-you-using-to-prepare-for-your-eternal-walk-2/
In this posting are some very pertinent pieces of information and food for the soul to ponder on.
And herein is a predominant problem for many, but don’t want to address it. A man may do some service to two masters, but he can devote himself to the service of no more than one. God requires the whole heart and will not share it with the world. When two masters oppose each other, no man can serve both. He who holds to the world and loves it must despise God; he who loves God must give up the friendship of the world.
Christ counsels to make our best things the joys and glories of the other world, those things not seen which are eternal, and to place our happiness in them. There are treasures in heaven. It is our wisdom to give all diligence to make our title to eternal life sure through Jesus Christ, and to look on all things here below, as not worthy to be compared with it, and to be content with nothing short of it.
It is happiness above and beyond the changes and chances of time, an inheritance incorruptible.
Now, it becomes easy to recognize how Satan uses our desires to live comfortably, so subtlety against us. Especially when we can physically see, handle, and have the world’s comforts, which sustain its luxuries as a part of our lives.
Now, here is where I bring forward a very pertinent question designed to make you question your relationship with Yeshua! I am asking you to understand who asked this question of Yeshua. From what I read, he was very astute and very comfortable with his lifestyle as he could afford the comforts and luxuries of the world.
I would say that many in today’s Assemblies would fit this description, being very comfortable and attached to the world’s luxuries which they abide with. The question comes from Luke 18:18 KJV
And a certain ruler asked him, saying, “Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
Why is it so important that the full content of this question be pondered and understood how it applies to our lives within our world today.
Now the answer that our Lord brought forward very few will adhere to as their rationalizations will negate any thought of adhering. Luke 18:22-23 KJV – Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.
I pray you will see the reason I asked for the question to be pondered and understood how it applies today.
23 And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich.
Many will perish for lack of one thing; so this ruler could not bear Christ’s terms, which would part between him and his estate. Many who are loth to leave Christ, yet do leave him. After a long struggle between their convictions and their corruptions, their corruptions carry the day.
They are very sorry that they cannot serve both; but if one must be given up, it shall be their God, not their worldly gain. Their boasted obedience will be found as a mere outside show; the love of the world in some form or other lies at the root.
Men are apt to speak too much of what they have left and lost, of what they have done and suffered for Christ, as Peter did. But we should rather be ashamed that there has been any regret or difficulty in doing it.
I pray that what you have just read will resonate and guide you into prayer and commitment.

And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich. [25] For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
Robert a humble obedient servant to Yeshua and his Father in heaven Yahewa. And all of God’s children said Amen and Amen.
