SPIRITUAL FOUNDATION!

Philippians 1:8-10 NLT
God knows how much I love you and long for you with the tender compassion of Christ Jesus. [9] I pray that your love will overflow more and more, and that you will keep on growing in knowledge and understanding. [10] For I want you to understand what really matters, so that you may live pure and blameless lives until the day of Christ’s return.

OBSERVATION!

I was asked if a believer pursuing the knowledge of Jesus Christ could become possessed. The following was my answer!

Possession comes in different forms it starts with depression, an outward influence of the mind, then it graduates to oppression, the binding of the free will, and finally, possession. Each stage moves you further from God’s covenant, grace, and protection, and you are now vulnerable. This state is known as being back sliden and vulnerable on a spiritual level.

A discerning believer possessing a covenant relationship with Yeshua should never be able to formulate a sin in their minds, as sin would be repulsive to them, being it would be a direct abasement to Yeshua and his indwelling as sin cannot be in his presence.

This individual would then be acknowledged as having a covenant relationship with Yeshua. Making the statements true that a covenant believer could never be possessed.

However, in today’s Ecclesia many believe in their minds that they’re walking righteously, but in reality are outside of a righteous walk as they are walking with one foot in the world and one foot in religiosity (not Christianity) and as such are removed from Yahewa’s covenant relationship. As their relationship is with the unbeliever, the idol worshipper.

We are instructed on how to walk separate from the world, Romans 12:2 renewing our minds and relying solely on our Lord, Yeshua, and his promises.

Here are some scriptures that teach how to assess if we are performing that assessment Romans 12:2
[2]And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

1 John 2:15
[15]Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

Matthew 6:23-24
[23]But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!
[24]No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

This scripture informs how to draw closer to abiding with Yeshua and turning your life over to him FULLY, and letting Yeshua guide us through the Holy Spirit’s teachings and guidance. Then we have Matthew 6:25
[25]Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

Revealing, we have no reason to conform to the world as through our covenant relationship and fully submitting our walk to Yeshua, we would find this as our position in the relationship with Yeshua!  Psalms 91:1-6
[1]He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
[2]I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
[3]Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler and from the noisome pestilence.
[4]He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
[5]Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
[6]Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

Now, I could go on describing how, as a Newborn Spirit, how as a believer you are void of any of the conditions being described about Depression Obsession and finally Possession.

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

For many this is where they stop spiritually moving ahead and become vulnerable to all forms of misinformation and succome to the belief they can walk both paths.

The scriptures are there for us to gain a covenant relationship, which is drawing us closer to Yahewa and Yeshua in this life so when we complete this journey, through the valley of the living dead (the world), we will know our Father in heaven Yahewa and his son Yeshua when we are finally in their presence. 

The time we spend here is to put into place, what is described in Romans 12:2 to be separated from the world’s knowledge and renewing the mind of our new born spirit and strengthening our reconnection to Yahweh and drawing closer to Him, and as well developing a personal relationship with His Son, Yeshua, so he can properly as our interceder introduce us to His Father, making way for us to lay our earned crowns at the foot of our Heavenly Father’s throne.

As I have shared with many, faith, is like a muscle, the more you exercise it the stronger and deeper it becomes filled with discernment which offers knowledge, understanding and spiritual wisdom to guide us on the narrow path which few will find.

The true message here is to be assessing your walk daily to know your walk is a righteous walk, not one you believe in your mind is so.

That they might be a knowing and judicious people: that love might abound in knowledge and in all judgment. It is not a blind love that will recommend us to God, but a love grounded upon knowledge and judgment.

We must love God because of his infinite excellence and loveliness, and we love our brethren because of what we see of the image of God upon them.

The hook Satan uses for many is that we must provide for our families, and they remove their submission to Yeshua and push away what Yeshua was prepared to present as his fulfillment of his promises in the belief they must provide thus denying the powers of Yahewa and Yeshua.

Because now in their minds are believing they must be the source of provision, Romans 10:3
[3]For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. In reality they fail to recognize Yeshua is the true source of their employment and that their income is based on the knowledge our Lord  so amply provided through them having a clear mind in order to learn, that in their submission to his leadership they would have many rewards and gifts to be thankful for.

But so many are looking in the mirror in the morning saying what a fine thing it is [I am doing] and miss out on the fulfillment of Yeshua’s promises  because they have stepped back into the world and have retaken control over their lives. And now, in their minds, are believing their walk is a righteous one because they again in their minds, are believing they are walking with Yeshua, but are maintaining control over their life and as a result are without a covenant relationship with Yeshua. Romans 10:4
[4]For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believeth.

It is imperative to hold a covenant relationship. And to do so, you must submit total control of your life to Yeshua and let go of the world and its connivances and evils. You cannot serve two masters. 

Matthew 6:24 NLT
“No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money.

COMMENTARY!

Paul prayed, 1. That they might be a loving people, and that good affections might abound among them That your love might abound yet more and more. He means it of their love to God, and one another, and all men.

Love is the fulfilling both of the law and of the gospel. Observe, Those who abound much in any grace have still need to abound more and more, because there is still something wanting in it and we are imperfect in our best attainments

Strong passions, without knowledge and a settled judgment, will not make us complete in the will of God and sometimes do more hurt than good.

The Jews had a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge, and were transported by it to violence and rage, Romans 10:2; John 16:2.

Romans 10:3
[3]For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
