SPIRITUAL FOUNDATION!

Matthew 14:15-20KJV

And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals. But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat. And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes. He said, Bring them hither to me. And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.
And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full.

OUR PRAYER!

Heavenly Father, hear this petition before your throne! As you have bestowed upon all a living soul that makes your children unique and separate within all your creations, I lay this request for the release of your mercies upon them so they might come to know your great comforts. I plead you would open their minds so they might in knowing your comforts renounce what the world presents as comfort and leisure. I further pray you will deepen their will to serve by having witnessed your compassion. Bring upon your children a deepening of their perseverance and patient determination to share your experience of forgiveness. Loose unto them a deepening well of living water so they might share it as a glowing river of hope for those thirsting after freedom from their slavery in sin. In all of this heavenly Father, polish their words so they go forward reflecting you as the light you are, as this world needs to know the light is here to reveal your narrow path leading to eternal life. In all of this, I pray in the name of our interceder Yeshua and all of God’s children say Amen and Amen.

COMMENTARY!

My question to the Ecclesia! What demonstration are you presenting to your flock when you present the world’s definition of  comfort by reaching out for donations to sustain what is being perceived as the work of God.

Would those in your flock then wonder, does God not have the power to care for us as He claims too? You claim, by having faith you can move mountains! Then why do you turn to the mercy and compassion of those in the world to provide for my comfort?

The most remarkable thing concerning the old world is the destroying of it by the deluge, or flood. We are told of the abounding iniquity of that wicked world: God’s just wrath and his holy resolution to punish it.

The previous statement is a declaration to God’s leaders that their choice to turn away from their faith and trust in the world’s love and compassion can be equated to a marriage between a believer and a nonbeliever. Thus, the children within this relationship will be influenced by the world’s lessons of what love and compassion are.

In all ages there has been a peculiar curse of God upon marriages between professors of true religion and its avowed enemies. The evil example of the ungodly party corrupts or greatly hurts the other. Family religion is put an end to, and the children are trained up according to the worldly maxims of that parent who is without the fear of God. If we profess to be the sons and daughters of the Lord Almighty, we should never enter into an unequally yoked relationship. God will never give his blessing, if we prefer beauty, wit, wealth, or worldly honours, to faith displaying perseverance, determination, and patience which will display holiness.

So, to fully comprehend the type of spiritual influence being coveyed to the flock, we must identify what is being accepted as comfort and considered leisure and who we have turned unto to receive these gifts.

The significance of this comparison of comfort and leisure is realized when we describe how, through turning to God in faith and trusting, he will provide for our needs, we bring forward a different type of influence and understanding of what form of love and compassion that’s being displayed, it would be recognized as heavenly and freely received as a promise made and kept.

To this day vast multitudes are as sheep not having a shepherd, and we should have compassion and do all we can to help them. The multitudes desirous of spiritual instruction formed a plenteous harvest, needing many active labourers; but few deserved that character. Christ is the Lord of the harvest.

Let us pray that many may be raised up and sent forth, who standing fervently in faith, turn from worldly comforts and luxuries and will demonstrate their faith as labour to bring souls to Christ. It is a sign that God is about to bestow some special mercy upon a people when he stirs them up to pray for it. And commission’s given to labourers in answer to prayer are most likely to be successful.

The idol shepherd has the garb and appearance of a shepherd, receives submission, and is supported at much expense; but he leaves the flock to perish through neglect, or leads them to ruin by his example. These are visible in many different churches and nations. And while such deceive others to their ruin, they will themselves have the deepest condemnation. Remember losing your soul is done willingly without excuse. Once the Watchman’s Trumpet has been sounded there are no excuses. Ezekiel 33:9
