DECLARATION!

What I will be offering in all of our future posts, which may appear as judgmental or boastful, please note: are being offered out of Love for God’s children and obedience to the second commandment; do unto your neighbor as you would do unto yourself! 

Be assured, I am not asking you to perform anything, I am not doing myself based on Romans 12:2
[2]And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. 

In other words, be prepared to be at times offended by what you are receiving as spiritual wake-up calls. If this may be too much to handle on your part because of where you believe you are in your walk, perhaps it is time to move on, or better yet set your EGO and PRIDE aside, and suck it up, locate the weakness in your walk and correct it, as there is no intention on my part, to bring compromise into my walk or messages.

As our time is too short, so take serious note: Yeshua is only lifting out his righteous followers, not the ones who, in their minds, believe they are righteous.

When you’re in that mindset, you’re in trouble. It’s good to be confident and sure, but you need to display confidence and assurance  which is supported by diligent daily personal assessments with the inclusion of sound scriptural support, not confidence and surety based on your justifications, and then rationalized to conform to your mindset. It’s time to ponder this observation being given out of love.

And be assured Pharisees and Sadducees exist in our assmblies today. As always, the final choice is yours to make.

PRELUDE:

I must declare the following, the COMMENTARY being offered are quotes taken from Matthew Henry’s (1662-1714) book of Commentary.

OBSERVATIONS! Are the researched commentary and findings of Robert, a humble servant  to Yeshua as his  Watchman!

SPIRITUAL FOUNDATION!

Exodus 32:9 KJV
And the LORD said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people:

[10]Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them:

OBSERVATION!

God was ready to destroy the whole nation because of their unwillingness to recognize their worship was compromised. It was not righteous but filled with pagan customs and rituals adopted into their worship during the period of slavery, but Moses pleaded for mercy, and God spared them.

This is one of the countless examples in the Bible of God’s mercy giving his children time to bring their lives back into line with the First commandment.

Although we deserve his anger, he is willing to forgive and restore us to himself. We can receive God’s forgiveness from sin through repentance and asking him for his mercy and forgiveness. But we all know that, and many take it for granted, thinking they can sin and just ask for forgiveness. It doesn’t work that way

Also, like Moses, we can pray that he will forgive others and use us to bring them the message of his mercy.

As I prayed for guidance, the Lord revealed how he was seeing the actions of today’s churches.

COMMENTARY!

Sin is the corruption of the sinner, and it is a self-corruption; every man is tempted when he is drawn aside of his own lust.

They had turned aside out of the way. Sin is a departing from the way of duty into a by-path. They soon forgot God’s works.

He sees what they cannot discover, nor is any wickedness of the world hidden from him. We could not bear to see the thousandth part of the evil, which God sees every day.

God expresses the greatness of his just displeasure, after the manner of men who would have prayer of Moses save them from ruin; thus he was a type of Christ, by whose mediation alone, God would reconcile the world to himself. Moses pleads God’s glory.

OBSERVATION!

Moses pleads God’s glory. The glorifying of God’s name, as it ought to be our first petition, and it is so in the Lord’s prayer, so it ought to be our great plea.

And God’s promises are to be our pleas in prayer; for what he has promised, he is able to perform. See the power of prayer.

In answer to the prayers of Moses, God showed his purpose of sparing the people, as he had before seemed determined on their destruction; which change of the outward discovery of his purpose, is called repenting of the evil.

As I prayed, the Holy Spirit revealed how some of today’s leaders and churches are viewed by Yeshua.

He also revealed how important it has become to be preparing for the declaration in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 KJV
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: [17] Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
