DECLARATION!

What I will be offering in all of our future posts, and may appear as judgmental or boastful, please note: they are being offered out of Love for God’s children and obedience to the second commandment; do unto your neighbor as you would do unto yourself!

Rest assured, I am not asking you to perform anything, I am not doing myself by following Romans 12:2
[2]And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. 

In other words, be prepared to be at times offended by what you are receiving as spiritual wake-up calls. If this may be too much to handle on your part because of where you believe you are in your walk, perhaps it is time to move on, or better yet set your EGO and PRIDE aside, and suck it up, locate the weakness in your walk and correct it, as there is no intention on my part, to bring compromise into my walk or messages.

As our time is too short, please take serious note: Yeshua is only lifting out his righteous followers, not the ones who, in their minds, believe they are righteous.

When you’re in that mindset, you’re in trouble. It’s good to be confident and sure, but you need to display confidence and assurance which is supported by diligent daily personal assessments with the inclusion of sound scriptural support, not confidence and surety based on your justifications, and then rationalized to conform to your mindset.It’s time to ponder this observation being given out of love.

Note: when you are assessing and find a flaw. It now becomes your duty as a Watchman to reveal that in good faith to yourself for correction. It then becomes a decision you must make accept or deny knowing your choice will place you in one of two places, in iniquity or delivering your soul. Bottom line the choice is yours the consequence belongs to you and only you! This would be using or denying a RENEWED MIND.

COMMENTARY!

Christ counsels to make our best things the joys and glories of the other world, those things not seen which are eternal, and to place our happiness in them.

There are treasures in heaven. It is our wisdom to give all diligence to make our title to eternal life sure through Jesus Christ, and to look on all things here below, as not worthy to be compared with it, and to be content with nothing short of it.

It is happiness above and beyond the changes and chances of time, an inheritance incorruptible.

OBSERVATION!

Being rich in this world is wholly different from being rich towards God. Nothing is more uncertain than worldly wealth.

For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Mercy is the spring of all this; yea, great mercy, and manifold mercy. This well-grounded hope of salvation is an active and living principle of obedience in the soul of the believer.

The matter of a Christian’s joy is the remembrance of the happiness laid up for him. It is incorruptible, it cannot come to nothing, it is an estate that cannot be spent.

The hope of the sons of the living God is a living hope; not only as to its object, but as to its effect also. It enlivens and comforts in all distresses, enables us to meet and get over all difficulties.

Worldly possessions are uncertain and soon pass away, like the flowers and plants of the field.

Seek then to believe Christ’s excellence in himself, and his love to us; this will kindle such a fire in the heart as will make it rise up in a sacrifice of love to him.

And the glory of God and our own happiness are so united that if we sincerely seek the one now, we shall attain the other when the soul shall no more be subject to evil. The certainty of this hope is as if believers had already received it.
