DECLARATION!
What I will be offering in all of our future posts, which may appear as judgmental or boastful, please note: are being offered out of Love for God’s children and obedience to the second commandment; do unto your neighbor as you would do unto yourself! Rest assured, I am not asking you to perform anything. I am not doing myself based on Romans 12:2 [2]And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
In other words, be prepared to be at times offended by what you are receiving as spiritual wake-up calls. If this may be too much to handle on your part because of where you believe you are in your walk, perhaps it is time to move on, or better yet set your EGO and PRIDE aside, and suck it up, locate the weakness in your walk and correct it, as there is no intention on my part, to bring compromise into my walk or messages.
As our time is too short, so take serious note: Yeshua is only lifting out his righteous followers, not the ones who, in their minds, believe they are righteous.
Exodus 32:9 KJV
And the LORD said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people:
When you’re in that mindset, you’re in trouble. It’s good to be confident and sure, but you need to display confidence and assurance which is supported by diligent daily personal assessments with the inclusion of sound scriptural support, not confidence and surety based on your justifications, and then rationalized to conform to your mindset. It’s time to ponder this observation being given out of love.
Matthew 16:6 KJV
Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.
And be assured Pharisees and Sadducees exist in our assmblies today. As always, the final choice is yours to make In the postings, information is being shared that reveals you are being called to be your own Watchman over your soul and Spirit!
Ezekiel 33:9
[9]Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
PRELUDE: I must declare the following, the COMMENTARY being offered are quotes taken from Matthew Henry’s (1662-1714) book of Commentary.
OBSERVATIONS! Are the researched commentary and findings of Robert, a humble servant to Yeshua as his Watchman!
SPIRITUAL FOUNDATION!
Titus 2:12 KJV
teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world,
1 John 1:8 KJV
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
OBSERVATION!
The doctrine of grace and salvation by the gospel is for all ranks and conditions of men. This inludes you. Pastor, Minister, Teacher, Evangelist, Bishop, Deacon, and Elders. It teaches to forsake sin; to have no more to do with it. An earthly, sensual conversation suits not a heavenly calling.
Matthew 18:20 KJV
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
Many tend to forget this knowledge of who is present in our spiritual conversations!
Redemption from sin and sanctification of nature go together and make peculiar people unto God, free from guilt and condemnation, and purified by the Holy Spirit.
COMMENTARY!
This doctrine teaches to consciencely make, known that which is good. We must look to God in Christ as the object of our hope and worship.
A gospel conversation must be a godly conversation. Our duty in very few words; denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, living soberly, righteously, and godly, notwithstanding all snares, temptations, corrupt examples, ill usage, and what remains of sin in the believer’s heart, with all the hinderances it presents as fleshly pleasures.
It teaches to look for the glories of an eternal world upcoming. At, and in, the glorious appearing of Christ, the blessed hope of believers will be complete: To bring us to holiness and happiness was the end of Christ’s death.
The things of the world may be desired and possessed for the uses and purposes which God intended, and they are to be used by his grace, and to his glory; but believers must not seek or value them for those purposes to which sin abuses them.
Yeshua, our Saviour, saves us as God. He loved us and gave himself for us; and what can we do less than love and give up ourselves to him in obedience by discerning the pleasures of the world our flesh presents as comforts and luxuries, and using our integrity we can rebuke them in Yeshua’s name!
I am stating here that the previous statement clarifies what decisions we must make when faced by those remaining pleasures in our hearts currently presenting themselves, not only as a temptation; but are being presented as pleasurable and seemingly compatible to a believer’s walk.
If we take one minute a day in prayer appealing to our Heavenly Father to reveal our spiritual shortcomings, we would be assessing our spiritual walk and personal relationship with Yeshua.
Now, here is an area of choice, when our prayer is answered and those areas the Holy Spirit is revealing, are you prepared to accept his truth there are flaws in your walk and relationship and deal with them or choose to cope (justify and rationalize) and continue with them as being pleasurable? Remember you have been called to walk as a Watchman over your soul and Spirit.
All Scripture is profitable and furnishes all parts of duty and the proper discharge of them.
Let us inquire whether our whole dependence is placed upon that grace, which saves the lost, pardons the guilty, and sanctifies the unclean.
Showing the further we are removed from boasting of fancied good works, or trusting in them, so that we glory in Yeshua alone, the more zealous we will be to abound in sound works pleasing to Yahewa and not our fleshly desires.
Matthew 12:37
[37]For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
Temptations could not prevail, were it not for man’s own corruption; but true Believers make the will of God, not their own lust or desires, or the rule of their lives and actions.
True conversion makes a marvellous change in the heart and life. It alters the mind, judgment, affections, and conversation. When a man is truly converted, it is very grievous to him to think how the time of his past life had been spent.
One sin draws on another. Six sins are here mentioned, which have dependence one upon another. It is a Christian’s duty, not only to keep from gross wickedness but also from things that lead to sin or appear evil.
The gospel had been preached to those since dead, who, by the proud and carnal judgment of wicked men, were condemned as evil-doers, some even suffering death.
But being quickened to Divine life by the Holy Spirit, they lived to God as his devoted servants. Let not believers care, though the world scorns and reproaches them.
The world draws the heart from God; and the more the love of the world prevails, the more the love of God decays.
1 Corinthians 5:6 KJV
Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?
The things of the world are classed according to the three ruling inclinations of depraved nature
1. The lust of the flesh, of the body: wrong desires of the heart, the appetite of indulging all things that excite and inflame sensual pleasures
2. The lust of the eyes: the eyes are delighted with riches and rich possessions; this is the lust of covetousness
3. The pride of life: a vain man craves the grandeur and pomp of a vain-glorious life; this includes thirst after honour and applause.
The things of the world quickly fade and die away; desire itself will ere long fail and cease, but holy affection is not like the lust that passes away. The love of God shall never fail.
Matthew 18:20
[20]For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
Many vain efforts have been made to evade the force of this passage by limitations, distinctions, or exceptions. Many have tried to show how far we may be carnally-minded, and love the world; but the plain meaning of these verses cannot easily be mistaken. Unless this victory over the world is begun in the heart, a man has no root in himself, but will fall away, or at most remain an unfruitful professor.
Yet these vanities are so alluring to the corruption in our hearts, that without constant watching and prayer, we cannot escape the world, or obtain victory over the god and prince of it.

But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, “Lord, save me!” [31] And immediately Jesus stretched forth His hand and caught him and said unto him, “O thou of little faith, why didst thou doubt?”
If I can bring forward anything scriptural to awaken your souls and Spirit, ponder this closing observation.
Christ bade Peter come, not only that he might walk upon the water, and so know his Lord’s power, but that he might know his own weakness.
And the Lord often lets his servants have their choice, to humble and prove them, and to show the greatness of his power and grace.
When we look off from Christ and look at the greatness of opposing difficulties, we shall begin to fall; but when we call to him, he will stretch out his arm and save us. Christ is the great Saviour; those who would be saved, must come to him, and cry to him, for salvation; we are never brought to this, till we find ourselves sinking: the sense of need drives us to him.

Robert a humble obedient servant to Yeshua and his Father in heaven Yahewa. And all of God’s children say Amen and Amen.
