SPIRITUAL FOUNDATION!
1 Corinthians 15:10
But by the grace of God, I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain, but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
OBSERVATION !
In this release, we will find several teachings from the Holy Spirit, The crucifixion of our Redeemer and his conquest over death are the very source of our spiritual life and hopes.
Now concerning these saving truths observe, they must be retained in mind, they must be held fast (so the word is translated, Hebrews 10:23): Let us hold fast the profession of our faith.
The saving truths of the gospel must be fixed in our mind, centered in our thoughts, and maintained and held fast to the end if we were saved. They will not save us if we do not attend to them, yield to their power, and continue to do so to the end.
He only that endureth to the end shall be saved (Matthew 10:22.)
A humble spirit, in high attainments, is an excellent embellishment to any man; it sets hisqualities off to much more significant advantage.
How easily God can bring good out of the greatest evil! When sinners are by divine grace turned into saints, he makes the remembrance of their former sins very serviceable to make them humble, diligent, and faithful.
The best example was in Paul’s account, a very humbling circumstance. By owning himself inferior to the other apostles: Not meet to be called an apostle. The least, because the last of them; called latest to the office, and not worthy to be called an apostle, to have either the office or the title, because he had been a persecutor of the church of God, 1 Corinthians 15:9.
OPENING PRAYER by Robert
Heavenly Father, as we bow before your throne and lay our petitions before you, we plead you hear our prayers. As our days become more treacherous and dangerous, we pray, Lord, for your guidance. We recognize Father those who desire to harm or prevent us from doing your work. They do not accept you or your compassion, forgiveness, or love. We give praise Lord for the protection you place us under and acknowledge. You alone are our helper and uphold our souls. We know Father you will reward evil unto our enemies, cutting them off in your truth. We know Father it is You who will deliver us from all sin. This we give thanks for in the name of your Son, Yeshua, Amen, and Amen.
OPENING STATEMENT by Robert
It is God’s prerogative to say, “I am who I am;” it is our privilege to be able to ⁰
“By God’s grace, we are what we are.” We are nothing but what God makes us, nothing, in Spirituality, but what his grace makes us. All that is good in us is a stream from this fountain. Those who have the grace of God bestowed on them should take care that it be not in vain. They should cherish, exercise, and exert this heavenly principle. A humble spirit will be very apt to own and magnify the grace of God. A humble spirit is commonly a gracious one. Where pride is subdued, it is reasonable to believe grace reigns.
The wisdom we receive through patience and not passion has three distinct characteristics:
(1). It is practical. The wisdom of God relates to life even during the most trying times. It is not wisdom isolated from suffering and trials. O
Wisdom is the tool by which trials are overcome. An intelligent person may have profound ideas, but a wise person puts profound insights into action. Intelligence will allow someone to describe several reasons why the car broke down. The knowledgeable person chooses the most likely cause and proc, eeds to take action.
(2). It is divine. God’s wisdom goes beyond common sense. Common Sense does not lead us to choose joy in the middle of trials. This wisdom begins with respect for God, leads to living by God’s direction, and results in the ability to tell right from wrong.
(3). It is Yeshua like. Asking for wisdom is ultimately asking to be like Yeshua. The Bible identifies Yeshua as the “wisdom of God” (1Cor. 1:24; 2:1-7).
CLOSING PRAYER by Robert
Our closing prayer is taken from Psalms 1:1-6 Heavenly Father we know: Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; in his law doth, he meditates, day and night.
And shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season, his leaf also shall not wither, and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
The ungodly are not so. But are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. Therefore, the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous. But the way of the ungodly shall perish. We thank thee, Lord. For all you have blessed us with. This, we pray and accept in the name of Yeshua. Amen and Amen.
CLOSING STATEMENT by Robert
In closing, I am reaching back to Matthew Henry (1662 – 1774) commentary on Proverbs 10: 9 to explain the foundation for our walk and the benefits. “He that walks uprightly towards God and man, that is faithful to both, that designs as he ought and means as he says, walks surely; he is safe under divine protection and
easy in holy security. He goes on his way with a humble boldness, being well-armed against the temptations of Satan, the troubles of the world, and the reproaches of men he knows what ground he stands on, what guide he follows, what guard he is surrounded with, and what glory he is going to, and therefore proceeds with assurance and great peace, Isaiah 32:17; Isaiah 33:15, Isaiah 33:16. Some understand it as part of the character of an upright man that he walks surely in opposition to walking at all adventures. He will not dare to do that, which he is not fully satisfied with in his own conscience concerning the lawfulness of but will see his way clear in everything. That men’s dishonesty will be their shame: He that perverts his way, that turns aside into crooked paths, that dissembles with God and man, looks one way and rows another, though he may for a time disguise himself, and pass current, shall be known to be what he is. It is a thousand to one, but some time or other, he betrays himself; at least, God will discover him on the great day. He that perverts his ways (documento erit) shall be made an example of, for warning to others.”
Remember, these messages are given by a humble servant obedient unto our Lord
Yeshua as a Watchman. I pray for all. ”Our Heavenly Father brings us to the river which bringeth forth fruit so we may partake of its sustenance and be filled spiritually with nurturing wisdom and humble dedication in service to Yeshua “Blessings to all.” As you go forward in peace, knowledge, and strength.
Robert
