OBSERVATION!

Please take note: God’s word, once spoken unto, his children, echo’s throughout eternally. So observe what he set before the original 799,998 of the Exodus from Egypt as their fate. Deuteronomy 9:6 KJV
Understand, therefore, that the LORD thy God giveth thee not this good land to possess it for thy righteousness; for thou art a stiffnecked people.

Yeshua identified for those in the new Covenant who are walking similarly as a stiffnecked people. This verse identifies the fate waiting for those who will be identified within the Ecclesia as being stiffnecked.

When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:

My research has revealed that Yeshua identified the same spirit working in the lives of the Israelites of his time; that same mindset which in the minds of those who Yeshua was speaking to, were believing their form of righteous worship was honouring Yahweh. It was not.

This same spirit is today, operating, in the Assemblies causing many to stumble.

Acts 7:51 KJV
Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.

In today’s Assemblies, those walking out of step to our Heavenly Father’s word and Yeshua’s teachings should recognize their plight.

Here is a template being offered to identify your status: When debates, corrections, and truths cause offence and provocation to defend your position it is time to assess if there are moments of subtle opposition to warnings and the Holy Spirits teachings of the gospel, if present it is time to assess. Recognition of what is shown revealing there is an error in your foundation and corrections are advised. However, that decision only you can make.

Ezekiel 33:9
[9]Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

If there are no changes, you like the Exodus Israelites are stubborn and wilful.

There is in our sinful hearts, that which always resists the Holy Ghost, a flesh that lusts against the Spirit, and wars against his motions; but in the hearts of God’s elect, when the fulness of time comes, this resistance is overcome.

The gospel is offered now, not by angels, but from the Holy Ghost; many will not embrace it, for in their minds they are comfortable and  resolved not to comply with God, either in his law or in his gospel.

COMMENTARY!

It is good for us often to remember against ourselves, with sorrow and shame, our former sins; that we may see how much we are indebted to free grace, and may humbly own that we never merited any thing but wrath and the curse at God’s hand.

For so strong is our propensity to pride, that it will creep in under one pretense or another. We are ready to fancy that our righteousness has got for us the special favor of the Lord, though in reality, our wickedness is more plain than our weakness.

But when the secret history of every man’s life shall be brought forth at the day of judgment, all the world will be proved guilty before God.

At present, One pleads for us before the mercy-seat, who not only fasted, but died upon the cross for our sins; through whom we may approach, though self-condemned sinners, and beseech for undeserved mercy and for eternal life, as the gift of God in Him. Let us refer all the victory, all the glory, and all the praise, to Him who alone bringeth salvation.
