OUR PRAYER

Heavenly Father in humility and awe, I approach your throne to place this petition before you for all who have taken on the armor of light in preparation for our future battles in the spirit. I plead Father for the placing of courage in their hearts the removal of fear through your knowledge, compassion, and love for all your children. Place in them Father your desire to serve as faithful soldiers bearing the protection and weapons you have made available, for us, Lord, through the Holy Spirits guidance and teachings. This I pray in your name in the name of Yeshua, Amen, and Amen.

Today, I desire to share the musing of Melissa Brown, a dear sister in Christ, offered as part of our prayer. As I believe she is offering an insight, all of Yeshua’s warriors should understand.

Our sister Melissa Brown  muses. Why is it that doctors and others in our life make it seem as if death is the worst thing that could happen to us? Only two in history have gotten out of this life alive, Enoch and Elijah. Billions upon billions have faced death,  and billions will continue to face death until Christ returns.

Paul said that to die was gain, not loss.
Ask yourself why our society tries to cause panic and anxiety over death. It is not something unique that happens to a few unlucky people. It is because we live in a society that does not have a reverence or fear of God.
The ones who are in Christ need not to fear death. But those who are under the wrath of God should be terrified of death.
This is the importance of us spreading the gospel. People need to know there is a way out from under the wrath of God. We do not need to be a dead man walking, who is a slave to sin.

The importance of our sisters message, I believe, can be summed up in my reply. Most don’t realize that the only thing that perishes is the temple as it was formed from dust and destined to return to dust. We, as the inhabitants, were created spiritually to live eternally and as such have the time while in that temple to determine where this spirit will abide and who this spirit will abide with eternally.

I ponder this question, how many attempt to put their lives together without having read the instructions (Scripture) on how and who it is will assist us in this short span of time to choose the right path? Is it they are to busy fulfilling the wants and pleasures of that fading temple to recognize why they fear the end of that temple, could it be the realization that all the pleasures fade and perish with that temple and, now, here is eternity and they didn’t follow the instructions on how to continue their journey. As the reality becomes apparent, “Oops,” I should have read the instructions first. It was a very common mistake, unfortunately.
