A TRUE BELIEVER DESIRES FOR THIS! THEY PRAY FOR AND SEEK AFTER AND REJOICE!

SPIRITUAL FOUNDATION!

Psalms 27:4
[4]One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.

ROBERT’S OPEN DECLARATION!”
My position in presenting these postings is done not as a pastor, minister, or teacher of God’s words. They are brought forward as messages to be discerned by those receiving them and choosing personally how to react. Scriptural foundation for their delivery Ezekiel 33:9
Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
It is with great love for all given to me by Yeshua that you are receiving them. Luke 10:16
[16]He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me.  And all of God’s children say Amen and Amen.

PRELUDE: It is my duty to bring forward this information. Please note that the Commentary offered are quotes by Matthew Henry (1662-1714).

The Observations offered are from Robert (1945 – current), offering his commentary as Yeshua’s Watchman (Ezekiel 33:9).

OBSERVATION!

The Lord, who is the believer’s light, is the strength of his life; not only by whom but in whom he lives and moves. In God let us strengthen ourselves. The gracious presence of God, his power, his promise, his readiness to hear prayer, the witness of his Spirit in the hearts of his people; these are the secrets of his tabernacle, and in these the saints find cause for that holy security and peace of mind in which they dwell at ease.

COMMENTARY!

Christ is the Rock on which a poor soul can alone stand fast. Where God has given stedfast hope, he expects there should be a steady, regular walk and conduct. God filled the psalmist with joy, as well as peace in believing.

Multitudes, by faith beholding the sufferings and glory of Christ, have learned to fear the justice and trust in the mercy of God through Him. Many are the benefits with which we are daily loaded, both by the providence and by the grace of God.

OBSERVATION!

There is power enough in God to help the weakest, and grace enough to help the unworthiest of all that trust in him. The psalmist waited patiently; he continued believing, hoping, and praying. This is applicable to Christ. His agony, in the garden and on the cross, was a horrible pit and miry clay. But those that wait patiently for God do not wait in vain. Those that have been under religious melancholy, and by the grace of God have been relieved, may apply Psalms 40:2 very feelingly to themselves; they are brought up out of a horrible pit.

COMMENTARY!

Psalms 37:23
[23]The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.

The Lord our God requires that we do justly, and render to all their due. It is a great sin for those who are able, to deny the payment of just debts; it is a great misery not to be able to pay them.

He that is truly merciful will be ever merciful. We must leave our sins; learn to do well, and cleave to it. This is true religion.

OBSERVATION!

The blessing of God is the spring, sweetness, and security of all earthly enjoyments. And if we are sure of this, we are sure not to want anything good for us in this world.

By his grace and Holy Spirit, he directs the thoughts, affections, and designs of good men. By his providence, he overrules event’s, so as to make their way plain. He does not always show his way for a distance but leads step by step, as children are led.

COMMENTARY!

God will keep true believers from being ruined by their falls, either into sin or into trouble, though such as falling into sin will be sorely hurt.

Few, if any, have known the consistent believer or his children, reduced to abject, friendless want. God forsakes not his saints in affliction; and in heaven, only the righteous shall dwell forever; that will be their everlasting habitation.

A good man may fall into the hands of a messenger of Satan and be sorely buffeted, but God will not leave him in his enemy’s hands.

OBSERVATION!

Are we poor? God made us poor, which is a good reason why we should be content and make up our minds to our condition.

Are we rich? God made us rich, which is a good reason why we should be thankful, serve him cheerfully, and do good with the abundance he gives us.

He respects not man’s wisdom or fancied excellences but chooses those whom the world accounts foolish, teaching them to feel their guilt and to value his free and precious salvation.

CLOSING COMMENTARY!

Hannah’s heart rejoiced, not in Samuel, but in the Lord. She looks beyond the gift and praises the Giver.

She rejoiced in the salvation of the Lord, and in expectation of His coming, who is the whole salvation of his people. The strong are soon weakened, and the weak are soon strengthened when God pleases.

CLOSING OBSERVATION!

Those who see their need of Christ and are desirous of righteousness and life in him, he fills with good things, with the best things; and they are abundantly satisfied with the blessings he gives.

He will satisfy the desires of the poor in spirit who long for spiritual blessings, while the self-sufficient shall be sent away empty.

Luke 1:52-53
[52]He hath put down the mighty from their seats and exalted them of low degree.
[53]He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent away empty.

Robert a humble obedient servant to Yeshua and his Father in heaven Yahewa. And all of God’s children say Amen and Amen.
