My position in presenting these postings is done not as a pastor, minister, or teacher of God’s words. They are brought forward as messages to be discerned by those receiving them and choosing personally how to react. Scriptural foundation for their delivery Ezekiel 33:9

PRELUDE: It is my desire to bring forward this information. Please note that the commentary offered are quotes by Matthew Henry (1662 – 1714).

The observations offered are from Robert (1945 – current), offering his commentary as Yeshua’s Watchman (Ezekiel 33:9).

SPIRITUAL FOUNDATION!

Galatians 5:24
[24]And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

OBSERVATION!

You must learn the depth of your will and its power! The next step is to learn how to use your will. The purpose of using your will is to reveal that the Holy Spirit is present in your life.

To accomplish this, during your daily assessments, you should look if The fruit of the spirit described in Galatians 5:22, is present in your current walk; revealing you having love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance, against these there is no law.

As the accepted  definition of the fruit of the spirit, they would be proof of the Holy Spirit’s presence and functioning as a part of your daily walk in spirituality.

Once we note the Holy Spirit is present with us, we are now able to discern which path we will choose to follow throughout our journey or pilgrimage to Eternity.

Many have chosen to remain involved with the world’s wisdom, while others have accepted walking in the Spirit as a ressurected and transformed spirit and soul.

However, this brings forward an additional question. Have you sought after the renewing of the soul (our mind),” or find yourself unable to transform your soul, because you have chosen not to renew your mind.

This means you have chosen not to present your soul as being righteous and separated from the world as a transformed soul. It is not bonded and functioning with the spirit, and being separated from the world, and not following within Yahewa’s first and second commandments as a transformed soul.

Thus realizing we have only transformed half of our being (the spirit) and remain in the grasp of the world without a renewed soul similar to the Israelites who exited Egypt, believing in their minds their form of worshipping which included many pagan customs traditions and festivals was righteousness.

COMMENTARY!

If it be our care to act under the guidance and power of the blessed Spirit, though we may not be freed from the stirrings and oppositions of the corrupt nature which remains in us, it shall not have dominion over us. Believers are engaged in a conflict in which they earnestly desire that grace may obtain full and speedy victory and always falling short.

And those who desire thus to give themselves up to be taught and comforted by the Holy Spirit are not under the law as a covenant of works, nor exposed to its awful curse.

Those with a transformed soul demonstrate their hatred of sin and desires after holiness showing that they have a part in the salvation of the gospel.

The works of the flesh are many and manifest. With these sins shutting men out of heaven. Yet what numbers, calling themselves Christians, live in these sins, and say they hope for heaven!

The fruits of the Spirit, or of the renewed nature, which we are called to seek, are named in Galatians 5:22. And as the apostle had chiefly named works of the flesh, not only hurtful to men themselves, but tending to make them so to one another, so here he chiefly notices the fruits of the Spirit, which tend to make Christians agreeable one to another, as well as to make them happy.

The fruits of the Spirit plainly show that such are led by the Holy Spirit. By describing the works of the flesh and fruits of the Spirit, we are shown what to avoid and oppose, and what to cherish and cultivate; and this is the sincere care and endeavour of all true Christians who have transformed their souls and spirits. 

The following is a description of the works of the flesh, which usually are found as part of the untransformed soul, Galatians 5:19-21[19], which are these: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
[20]Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
[21]Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

OBSERVATION!

A ttuth that was just revealed. Many believing they are worshipping righteously are not aware they have not sought to transform their soul.

And should be asking, “Have we sought after the renewing of the soul (our mind),” and in doing so, would discover why they have not been able to transform their lives and separate from the world.

They would discover it is due to their choice of not pursuing to renew their minds, but to remain trusting in the world’s wisdom, standards, customs and traditions.

This knowledge  reveals why multitudes are dependent on worldly wisdom as they lack the ability to draw on spiritual wisdom to discern spiritual matters as their soul’s are not renewed, causing them to fall short of receiving Yahewa’s gifts and fulfillment of his promises.

We must work on our soul as we did in  transforming our spirit to reign in our mortal bodies, Romans 6:12
[12]Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.

for we must seek to be separated from its cravings and lusts.

Christ will never own those who yield themselves up to be the servants of sin. And it is not enough that we cease to do evil, but we must learn to do well.

Ephesians 4:22-23 KJV
That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; [23] And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
