PRELUDE: It is my duty to bring forward this information. Note: The commentary offered are quotes by Matthew Henry (1662- 1714).
The Observations offered are from Robert (1945 – current), offering his commentary as Yeshua’s Watchman (Ezekiel 33:9).
SPIRITUAL FOUNDATION!
Galatians 5:1 KJV
Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
OBSERVATION!
I hear many who claim to believe and follow Yeshua’s teachings, stating they are poor and have little or nothing. They reveal that, at times, going day’s without food, and many are homeless! How and why is this possibly happening to those claiming to love and follow Yeshua?
Our Lord offers sustenance clothing and shelter. So why are there so many suffering this form of indignity and pain? You will find the answer in the following verse if you discern our Lord’s command within it. For those without the Spirit of God with them, it states you as a newborn spirit, must step away from the world totally, and let the Lord guide you through your journey in this life as He prepares you for your eternal life in the presence of our heavenly Father Yahweh!
Matthew 6:25 KJV
Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
COMMENTARY!
There is scarcely any sin against which our Lord Jesus warned his disciples than disquieting, distracting, and distrustful about the things of this life. This often insnares the poor as much as the love of wealth does the rich.
OBSERVATION!
If you discern and ponder Matthew Henry’s comments, you will recognize the snare Satan is using to maintain, taunt, and torture those who are by the world’s standards considered poor.
What is being unveiled here is a stronghold setup to ensnare and maintain man in the bondage of poverty, believing they are poor and without hope. How is this possible, if they are proclaimed believers, walking in Salvation?
Here is a simple truth that many, possibly, are not aware of. If you are spiritually bound, you are not living a Christian life. Where there is bondage, there’s deception! All spiritual bondage is rooted in spiritual deception! The scripture declares where the spirit of the Lord is there is liberty and is where he has influence.
2 Corinthians 3:17 KJV
Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
And in whatever area of our lives, we have given up influence. Those become the breeding grounds for the deception and why you are without. Due to not heeding this warning, our Lord Jesus warned his disciples than disquieting, distracting, and distrustful about the things of this life.
This deception will wreak havoc in your lives if you do not identify it and eliminate it immediately, through the believing in truth.
John 8:32 KJV
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
We are created for more than spiritual struggle. Sadly many believers have accepted the idea that spiritual struggle is just a part of Christian’s life!
That spiritual defeat is inevitable. That being in a spiritual battle or being defeated in that battle is a spiritual sacrifice unto God or a cross to carry. Spiritual defeat is not a cross to bear or to be a part of our lives.
If discerned, you will recognize it is identifying religious pride! This is based on the thought process of the devil knowing how big of a threat I am. When in reality the truth is if you are a threat, then scripture states the enemy will flee. James 4:7 KJV
Submit yourselves, therefore, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
The belief behind this is the more man struggles, the more spiritual he becomes! This is another of Satan’s lies placed before us due to our ignorance of God’s teachings and promises.
COMMENTARY!
Worldly-mindedness is enmity to God. Enemies may be reconciled, but “enmity” never can be reconciled. A man may have a large portion in things of this life, and yet be kept in the love of God; but he who sets his heart upon the world, who will conform to it rather than lose its friendship, is an enemy to God.
OBSERVATION!
That lie (the more man struggles, the more spiritual he becomes) is only one tool Satan uses as a hold on his victims because when they accept this lie that suffering is a part of the believer’s walk he already has a hold on you because you are walking in Legalism which is Satan’s expertise.
Consider why he keeps people in a state of poverty and destitution? There sufferings become criticism of our Lord and grounds to doubt and pull away from the truth that Yeshua will and can help. That there is no solution in prayer as God won’t answer. Satan keeps their focus on those who have, creating envy and further despair.
What other tools does he use to maintain their position as slaves within his darkness.
A lie is anything that contradicts the truth. A lie doesn’t become a deception until you believe it. It then enters into your memory. You then begin thinking about the lie and, in doing so, you have created a thought pattern. That thought pattern begins to change your thinking and behavior. When you behave in that manner, it now becomes a habit.
Habits can be broken for a season of time. But you return to that habit, and this is repeated over and over and now becomes a cycle.
Now once if becomes a cycle, you return to the old cycles and habits. And when an effort is made to break this pattern, instead of dealing with the source. Many believe dealing with the symptoms is the answer and become frustrated and fall deeper into despair and hopelessness.
CLOSING OBSERVATION!
I am asked how can you say I am not poor and destitute. Look at where I am and must live with daily and, at times, go hungry.
Question: Do you know of inner peace, or have you ever experienced it? To find this inner peace, you must know embrace, love, and worship Yahewa and Yeshua with all your heart never doubting and knowing in your mind you are going to do everything you can, so Yeshua sees you in this light, which definitely is not being poor, destitute, or homeless.
1 Peter 2:9 KJV
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
You will find some of what you must do to achieve that inner peace. Have a listen and ponder what is being offered here.

Robert a humble obedient servant to Yeshua and his Father in heaven Yahewa. And all of God’s children say Amen and Amen
