SPIRITUAL FOUNDATION!

Matthew 22:37 KJV
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

OBSERVATION!

Matthew Henry relates, which I believe is very important and possibly would be missed by many “To prevent a revolt to false gods, we are forbidden to worship the true God in such a manner as the false gods were worshiped in .”

Mark 10:21 KJV
Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.

COMMENTARY!

Most ask for good to be had in this world; any good, Psalms 4:6; he asks for good to be done in this world, in order to enjoy the greatest good in the other world. Christ encouraged this address by assisting his faith and by directing his practice.

But here is a sorrowful parting between Jesus and this young man. He asks Christ what he shall do more than he has done, to obtain eternal life; and Christ puts it to him, whether he has indeed that firm belief of, and that high value for eternal life which he seems to have. Is he willing to bear a present cross in expectation of future crown? The young man was sorry he could not be a follower of Christ upon easier terms; that he could not lay hold on eternal life and keep hold of his worldly possessions too. He went away grieved. See Matthew 6:24, Ye can not serve God and mammon.

OBSERVATION!

Amen, brothers and sisters, it is rare these days to find dedicated individuals. As Many want to believe they are dedicated and in some ways, are, but like the rich man want to cling to the comforts, luxuries, and toys of the world as followers of Yeshua however in many cases do not realize they are worshipping other gods.

Money and sports are two of them. Children of Yahewa, the choices believers have to make in  today’s life, are deep, challenging and must be unpretentious, requiring all our discernment, knowledge, and understanding in bringing forward God’s wisdom in  making them.

Research shows a misunderstanding by many lies in their anticipation of what the Lord might allow of the world’s luxuries, pleasures, and comforts, to be in our lives as far as  sustenance, raiment, and residence are concerned.

Research has brought forward this message. “Our Lord offers that of the world for our comforts, Yeshua knows we can handle, in our lives, without influencing our walk and relationship with him.“

This, however, only applies to those who have turned over the control of their lives to Yeshua fully. That is where a majority of believers miss the mark and maintain control because they do not have faith or trust enough in Yeshua to do so due to the lack of information required to do so comfortably.

This is an example of Satan using our ignorance of God’s promises to beguile man. As a result, they will not realize what they are missing out on. This all goes back to one part of being man and following what the world teaches and expects.

Man is taught and as a result in their hearts believe it is THEIR responsibility to make sure that their life and the lives of their families are safe and comfortable, which the world teaches is men’s responsibility.

It takes individuals walking with Yeshua using their God-given wisdom to know turning over the reins of your life to Yeshua is a guarantee of peace, comfort, and safety for them and their families.

COMMENTARY!

Worldly-mindedness is a common and fatal symptom of hypocrisy, for by no sin can Satan have a surer and faster hold of the soul, under the cloak of a profession of religion. Something the soul will have, which it looks upon as the best thing; in which it has pleasure and confidence above other things. Christ counsels to make our best things the joys and glories of the other world, those things not seen which are eternal, and to place our happiness in them. There are treasures in heaven. It is our wisdom to give all diligence to make our title to eternal life sure through Jesus Christ, and to look on all things here below, as not worthy to be compared with it, and to be content with nothing short of it. It is happiness above and beyond the changes and chances of time, an inheritance incorruptible. The worldly man is wrong in his first principle; therefore all his reasonings and actions therefrom must be wrong. It is equally to be applied to false religion; that which is deemed light is thick darkness. This is an awful, but a common case; we should therefore carefully examine our leading principles by the word of God, with earnest prayer for the teaching of his Spirit. A man may do some service to two masters, but he can devote himself to the service of no more than one. God requires the whole heart, and will not share it with the world.

CLOSING OBSERVATION AND “WATCHMANS SHOFAR“

Do not take this closing lightly as there is a specific warning to be discerned and heeded by all.

“The following is how I was shown you have strayed from the flock and believe me when I saw this it startled me, here’s what God pointed out through the Holy Spirits, message.”

“You go on in your annual feasts and rituals year after year, piling the abominations higher and higher. Do you think your external performance of religious services will serve as an exception from the Judgments of God? You can continue paying lip service to God and not reforming or humbling your hearts, do not think you can pacify an offended God, or turn away His wrath. For your sins will be punished with thunder, troubling earthquakes, minor shaking, storms, tornadoes, hurricanes, and draught burning heat.“

The final thought is to be shared. Our Lord Yeshua in his love for all of His children. Is shown, by Lot, a righteous man being taken completely out of harms way, before God releases his wrath upon sin and sinners.

Dont miss it this is our opportunity to get our house in order and righteous in God’s eyes as the  lifting out of the righteous is near. The choice is yours.
