SPIRITUAL FOUNDATION!

1 Kings 18:21
[21]And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.

OBSERVATION!

1 Thessalonians 4:17 KJV
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

We must be preparing to meet Yeshua in the clouds. To do so we must live a life of faith and righteousness. Go to Luke 18:8
[8]I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

These verses should awaken a great number of believers as it is going to resonate as a looming conviction to the Ecclesia. How can you say that?

Does your walk and personal relationship live up to Yeshua’s question? Will he find faith as your foundation and trust in his fulfilling his promises, or will he find a mixture of belief in the word and belief in science and pharmakia as part of their walk?

Will Yeshua’s question reveal you as a part of the hypoctites being described in

2 Peter 2:20-22
[20]For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
[21]For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
[22]But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

Many will of course be in denial, and will question. How is it I am being identified as part of this group, those who have been given the truth and outwardly displaying holiness but inside denying God’s power.

2 Timothy 3:5 KJV
Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

We also see this group spoken of in Mark 7:6 KJV
He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.

I desire to use Matthew 14:30 to reveal how multitudes have abandoned their faith and returned to trusting the world more than God’s promises.

But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.

You will find your answer in the last words, Peter cried out, “Lord, save me!” How, when faced with trials and tribulations in that moment, multitudes fail to cry out in faith to the Lord as Peter did, “Lord Save Me”, and returned to what they have been freed from the wisdom of the world science and pharmakia.

As I continued to research, the Lord placed this question on my heart: Where in the first commandment does it say worship me with 50% of your love, soul, and strength? That is when Elijah’s statement in 1Kings 18:20 began to reveal the condition of the hearts within the Ecclesia. Whose altar many are currently worshipping at out of believing in their minds, it is in righteousness!

COMMENTARY!

Deuteronomy 10:12
[12]And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,

We are here taught our duty to God in our principles and our practices. We must fear the Lord our God. We must love him and delight in communion with him. We must walk in the ways in which he has appointed us to walk. We must serve him with all our heart and soul. What we do in his service we must do cheerfully, and with good will. We must keep his commandments. There is true honor and pleasure in obedience. We must give honor to God; and to him, we must cleave, as one we love and delight in, trust in, and from whom we have great expectations. We are here taught our duty to our neighbor. God’s common gifts to mankind oblige us to honor all men. And those who have themselves been in distress and have found mercy with God should be ready to show kindness to those who are in the like distress. We are here taught our duty to ourselves. Circumcise your hearts. Cast away all corrupt affections and inclinations, which hinder you from fearing and loving God. By nature, we do not love God. This is original sin, the source whence our wickedness proceeds; and the carnal mind is enmity against God, for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be; so then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

CLOSING OBSERVATION!

Romans 8:5-6
[5]For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
[6]For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

In several past articles, I have brought forward the information that the condition of many in the Ecclesia is exactly the same mindset the 800 thousand who exited Egypt, who were worshipping under a tainted doctrine one filled with pagan myths; and in their minds would not accept correction, that they were not walking  righteously with God. They could not accept their walk was not in step with the first commandment.

CLOSING COMMENTARY!

Believers may be chastened of the Lord but will not be condemned with the world. By their union with Christ through faith, they are thus secured. What is the principle of their walk; the flesh or the Spirit, the old or the new nature, corruption or grace? For which of these do we make provision, by which are we governed?

The unrenewed will is unable to keep any commandment fully. The law, besides outward duties, requires inward obedience. God showed abhorrence of sin by the sufferings of his Son in the flesh, that the believer’s person might be pardoned and justified.

Thus, satisfaction was made to Divine justice, and the way of salvation opened for the sinner. By the Spirit the law of love is written upon the heart, and though the righteousness of the law is not fulfilled by us, yet, blessed be God, it is fulfilled in us; there is that in all true believers, which answers the intention of the law. The favour of God, the welfare of the soul, the concerns of eternity, are the things of the Spirit, which those that are after the Spirit do mind. Which way do our thoughts move with most pleasure? Which way go our plans and contrivances? Are we most wise for the world or for our souls?

Those that live in pleasure are dead, 1 Timothy 5:6. A sanctified soul is a living soul; and that life is peace. The carnal mind is not only an enemy to God, but enmity itself. The carnal man may, by the power of Divine grace, be made subject to the law of God, but the carnal mind never can; that must be broken and driven out.

We may know our real state and character by inquiring whether we have the Spirit of God and Christ, or not, 1 Timothy 5:9.

Ezekiel 33:9
[9]Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
