TRUTH! A CHALLENGE FOR MANKIND ESPECIALLY SOME CHRISTIANS!

SPIRITUAL FOUNDATION!

Matthew 22:16 KJV
And they sent out unto him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, neither carest thou for any man: for thou regardest not the person of men.

OBSERVATION!

Christ reveals his mind to his people gradually. From that time, when the apostles had made the full confession of Christ, that he was the Son of God, he began to show them of his sufferings. He spake this to set right the mistakes of his disciples about the outward pomp and power of his kingdom.

Those that follow Christ, must not expect great or high things in this world. Peter would have Christ to dread suffering as much as he did; but we mistake, if we measure Christ’s love and patience by our own.

We do not read of anything said or done by any of his disciples, at any time, that Christ resented so much as this. Whoever takes us from that which is good, and would make us fear to do too much for God speaks Satan’s language.

Whatever appears to be a temptation to sin, must be resisted with abhorrence and not be parleyed with. Those that decline suffering for Christ, savour more of the things of man than of the things of God.

COMMENTARY!

Nothing is more likely to insnare the followers of Christ than bringing them to meddle with disputes about worldly politics. Jesus avoided the snare by referring to the submission they had already made as a nation; and all that heard him marvelled at the great wisdom of his answer. Many will praise the words of a sermon, who will not be commanded by the doctrines of it

OBSERVATION!

We are often called to leave worldly connections, interests, and comforts. If heirs of Abraham’s faith, we shall obey and go forth, though not knowing what may befall us; and we shall be found in the way of duty, looking for the performance of God’s promises.

COMMENTARY!

My question is to those who profess to love Yeshua and continue their dependency on the world. “Why?”

Do you not realize what and who you are denying by doing so.

Here is what you’re rejecting when you continue walking in the world. 1 Peter 2:9 KJV
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

Please recognize when you commit your life to Yeshua. You become a Pilgrim journeying through this world as a citizen of heaven and, as such, should have no further allegiance to the world in any form as Yeshua will provide for all of our needs.

OBSERVATION!

If you love God, then honour him with that love. Turn to him for all things be patient and trust he will provide. Trouble with most, they are caught up in the instant gratification the world provides and have no patience and look for instant results as monetary support. Sadly

Many claim they love God and set him aside while begging in the world for help. Some love, sorry I only speak the truth here. I wonder how Yahewa sees those who lower themselves to begging?

CLOSING COMMENTARY!

The best way to enjoy our comforts is to give them up to God; he will then again give them as shall be the best for us. Let us look how far our faith has caused the like obedience, when we have been called to lesser acts of self-denial, or to make smaller sacrifices to our duty.

Have we given up what was called for, fully believing that the Lord would make up all our losses and even bless us by the most afflicting dispensations?

This is a truth many believers refuse to accept as part of their commitment, walk, and personal relationship with Yeshua.

Mark 12:33 KJV
And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.

Robert a humble obedient servant to Yeshua and his Father in heaven Yahewa. And all of God’s children say Amen and Amen!
