SCRIPTURAL FOUNDATION!
1 Peter 2:9 KJV
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
OBSERVATION!
Question how can anyone who our Lord considers as Royal, holy, and peculiar consider themselves as being poor, destitute, or without value?
For those who say they have Yeshua as their saviour yet believe they are without obviously have not separated from the world’s standards. And hold not this truth in their hearts.
Matthew 6:31-33 KJV
Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? [32] (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. [33] But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
In order to see one’s self as poor or without worth means you still have lust in your heart and measure your worth according to how you and the world perceive your life. You set aside this one simple task Yeshua reveals in Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Note: We suffer at the hands of Satan, who will conflict you due to your ignorance of Yeshua’s teachings. I call on all to hear the Watchman’s Trumpet and measure your relationship, and walk with Yeshua.
Psalms 23:3-4
[3]He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
[4]Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
COMMENTARY!
Christ is called a stone to teach his servants that he is their protection and security, the foundation on which they are built. He is precious in the excellence of his nature, the dignity of his office, and the glory of his services.
Psalms 23:3
[3]He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
All true believers are a holy priesthood; sacred to God, serviceable to others, endowed with heavenly gifts and graces.
How then if we claim to walk having Yeshua as our interceder and provider consider ourselves as poor or without. Only if we continue to measure our worth by the world’s standards.
2 Corinthians 6:17 KJV
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
OBSERVATION!
To believe in Christ is to have him for our Head and willingly to commit ourselves to his guidance and government. And let us pray for the coming of the glorious day when there shall be one Lord through all the earth.
COMMENTARY!
It is a wonder of Divine power and mercy that there are any saved: for even those left to be a seed, if God had dealt with them according to their sins, they would have perished with the rest. This is the great truth this Scripture teaches us. Even among the vast number of professing Christians, it is to be feared that only a remnant will be saved

OBSERVATION!
We are here taught our duty to ourselves. Circumcise your hearts. Cast away all corrupt affections and inclinations, which hinder you from fearing and loving God.
Psalms 23:5
[5]Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Are we most wise for the world or for our souls? Those that live in pleasure are dead, 1 Timothy 5:6. A sanctified soul is a living soul; and that life is peace.
By nature we do not love God. This is original sin, the source whence our wickedness proceeds; and the carnal mind is enmity against God, for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be; so then they that are in the flesh cannot please God, Romans 8:5-9.
[5]For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
Let us, without delay or reserve, come and cleave to our reconciled God in Jesus Christ, that we may love, serve, and obey him acceptably, and be daily changed into his image, from glory to glory, by the Spirit of the Lord.
The favour of God, the welfare of the soul, the concerns of eternity, are the things of the Spirit, which those that are after the Spirit do mind. Which way do our thoughts move with most pleasure? Which way go our plans and contrivances?
The carnal mind is not only an enemy to God but enmity itself. The carnal man may, by the power of Divine grace, be made subject to the law of God, but the carnal mind never can; that must be broken and driven out.
We may know our real state and character by inquiring whether we have the Spirit of God and Christ or not. Ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit. Having the Spirit of Christ, means having a turn of mind in some degree like the mind that was in Christ Jesus, and is to be shown by a life and conversation suitable to his precepts and example.
COMMENTARY!
God showed abhorrence of sin by the sufferings of his Son in the flesh, that the believer’s person might be pardoned and justified.
Thus, satisfaction was made to Divine justice, and the way of salvation opened for the sinner. By the Spirit the law of love is written upon the heart, and though the righteousness of the law is not fulfilled by us, yet, blessed be God, it is fulfilled in us; there is that in all true believers, which answers the intention of the law.
OBSERVATION!
Those who would find mercy when they are in distress, must show mercy when they are in prosperity; and those who show most readiness for every good work, are most likely to be faithful in whatever is trusted to them.
Those who are idle, very seldom are only idle, they make mischief among neighbours, and sow discord among brethren. All believers are required to relieve those belonging to their families who are destitute, that the church may not be prevented from relieving such as are entirely destitute and friendless.
CLOSING COMMENTARY!
The Apostle Paul charges Timothy solemnly to guard against partiality. We have great need to watch at all times, that we do not partake of other men’s sins.
Keep thyself pure, not only from doing the same yourself, but from countenancing it, or in any way helping others in it. (i.e. solicitation of the worldly).
The apostle also charges Timothy to take care of his health. As we are not to make our bodies masters, so neither slaves; but to use them so that they may be most helpful to us in the service of God.
1 Corinthians 3:16 KJV
Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
There are secret, and there are open sins: some men’s sins are open before-hand, and going before unto judgment; some they follow after. God will bring to light the hidden things of darkness and make known the counsels of all hearts.
Looking forward to the judgment-day, let us all attend to our proper offices, whether in higher or lower stations, studying that the name and doctrine of God may never be blasphemed on our account.

And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.
Robert a humble obedient servant to Yeshua and his Father in heaven Yahewa. And all of God’s children say Amen and Amen
