SPIRITUAL FOUNDATION!
Romans 12:2 KJV
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
OBSERVATION!
Paul entreated the Romans, as his brethren in Christ, by the mercies of God, to present their bodies as a living sacrifice to Him. This is a powerful appeal.
We receive from the Lord every day the fruits of his mercy. Let us render ourselves; all we are, all we have, all we can do: and after all, what return is it for such very rich receivings?
It is acceptable to God: a reasonable service, which we are able and ready to give a reason for, and which we understand. Conversion and sanctification are the renewing of the mind; a change, not of the substance, but of the qualities of the soul.
The progress of sanctification, dying to sin more and more, and living to righteousness more and more, is the carrying on of this renewing work, till it is perfected in glory.
Write that in your hearts and follow it daily. You will find the world’s wisdom fading daily. God’s Love increasing and eliminating the world’s comforts and wisdoms. Because you are learning how to discern what you are receiving through Yahewa’s love in your soul, not your mind and satisfying of the fleshly comforts.
COMMENTARY!
The strongest emotion in a believer is to give, comfort, share, and serve. We recognize it as compassion.
Man’s wisdom offered through compassion becomes the great enemy to his renewal; it offers only conformity to this world and its vision of compassion.
Take heed of forming plans for happiness, as though it lay in the things of this world, which soon pass away. Do not fall in with the customs of those who walk in the lusts of the flesh and mind earthly things.
1 John 2:15 KJV
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
The work of the Holy Ghost first begins in the understanding, and is carried on to the will, affections, and conversation, till there is a change of the whole man into the likeness of God, in knowledge, righteousness, and true holiness. Thus, to be godly, is to give up ourselves to God.
OBSERVATION!
Here begins the battle for many! Their justifications to maintain control, I have striven hard to earn the respect and regard of those I walk with. As the head of my home and spiritual covering, I must always be in control!
How can I relinquish this control and maintain my spiritual position? These are the common mistakes many put forward in order to maintain their position as the head of their family. I will not attempt to answer them, but place before you Yahewa’s position to be discerned. We find it strongly presented in Psalms 91:1-2,4
[1]He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
[2]I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
[4]He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
What greater assurance can you ask for then to know your life once turned over to Yahewa is covered and guided by His love and compassion because you trusted in His word.
COMMENTARY!
The Lord, who is the believer’s light, is the strength of his life; not only by whom, but in whom he lives and moves. In God, let us strengthen ourselves. The gracious presence of God, his power, his promise, his readiness to hear prayer, the witness of his Spirit in the hearts of his people; these are the secret of his tabernacle, and in these the saints find cause for that holy security and peace of mind in which they dwell at ease.
OBSERVATION!
Do we hope that the praising of God will be the blessedness of our eternity? Surely then we ought to make it the business of our time. This he had at heart more than anything. Whatever the Christian is as to this life, he considers the favour and service of God as the one thing needful. This he desires, prays for and seeks after, and in it he rejoices.
COMMENTARY!
Wherever the believer is, he can find a way to the throne of grace by prayer. God calls us by his Spirit, by his word, by his worship, and by special providences, merciful and afflicting. When we are foolishly making court to lying vanities, God is, in love with us, calling us to seek our own mercies in him. The call is general, “Seek ye my face;” but we must apply it to ourselves, “I will seek it” The word does us no good, when we do not ourselves accept the exhortation: a gracious heart readily answers to the call of a gracious God, being made willing in the day of his power. We find this love growing in our lives through the ongoing development of our personal relationship with Yeshua.
OBSERVATION!
Believers should request the favour of the Lord; the continuance of his presence with him; the benefit of divine guidance, and the benefit of Divine protection. God’s time to help those that trust in him, is, when all other helpers fail.
OBSERVATION!
He is a surer and better friend than earthly parents are, or can be. What was the belief that supported the psalmist? That he should see the goodness of the Lord. There is nothing like the believing hope of eternal life, the foresights of that glory, and foretastes of those pleasures, to keep us from fainting under all calamities.
In the meantime, he should be instead of yielding to impatience or despondency under our troubles, we should turn our thoughts to the goodness of the Lord towards those who fear and trust in Him.
All comes to sinners through the wondrous gift of the only-begotten Son of God to be the atonement for their sins. Let not any yield to unbelief, or think, under discouraging circumstances, that they are cut off from before the eyes of the Lord, and left to the pride of men.
Lord, pardon our complaints and fears; increase our faith, patience, love, and gratitude; teach us to rejoice in tribulation and in hope. strengthened to bear up under his burdens. Let us look unto the suffering Saviour, and pray in faith, not to be delivered into the hands of our enemies. Let us encourage each other to wait on the Lord, with patient expectation, and fervent prayer.

COMMENTARY!
The deliverance of Christ, with the destruction of his enemies, ought to strengthen and comfort the hearts of believers under all their afflictions here below, that having suffered courageously with their Master, they may triumphantly enter into his joy and glory.
God teaches by his word and guides with the secret intimations of his will. David gives a word of caution to sinners. The reason for this caution is, that the way of sin will certainly end in sorrow. Here is a word of comfort to saints. They may see that a life of communion with God is far the most pleasant and comfortable. Let us rejoice, O Lord Jesus, in thee, and in thy salvation; so shall we rejoice indeed.
OBSERVATION!
Being compassed with enemies, David prays to God to keep him in safety. This prayer is a prediction that Christ would be preserved, through all the hardships and difficulties of his humiliation, to the glories and joys of his exalted state, and is a pattern to Christians to commit the keeping of their souls to God, trusting him to preserve them to his heavenly kingdom.
Those are our worst enemies that are enemies to our souls. They are God’s sword, which cannot move without him, and which he will sheathe when he has done his work with it.
They are his hand, by which he chastises his people. There is no fleeing from God’s hand, but by fleeing to it. It is very comfortable when we are in fear of the power of man, to see it dependent upon, and in subjection to the power of God.
CLOSING COMMENTARY!
Most men look on the things of this world as the best things; and they look no further, nor show any care to provide for another life.
The things of this world are called treasures. They are so accounted; but to the soul, and when compared with eternal blessings, they are trash. The most afflicted Christian need not envy the most prosperous men of the world who have their portion in this life.
Clothed with Christ’s righteousness, having through his grace a good heart and a good life, may we by faith behold God’s face and set him always before us. When we awake every morning, may we be satisfied with his likeness set before us in his word, and with his likeness stamped upon us by his renewing grace. Happiness in the other world is prepared only for those that are justified and sanctified: they shall be put in possession of it when the soul awakes, at death, out of its slumber in the body, and when the body awakes, at the resurrection, out of its slumber in the grave.
There is no satisfaction for a soul but in God, and in his good will towards us, and his good work in us; yet that satisfaction will not be perfect till we come to heaven.

Robert a humble obedient servant to Yeshua and his Father in heaven Yahewa. And all of God’s children say Amen and Amen.
