My position in presenting these articles is done not as a Pastor, Minister, or Teacher of God’s words. They are brought forward as messages to be discerned by those receiving them and choosing personally how to react. Scriptural foundation on their delivery Ezekiel 33:9

Time is calling a reminder forward for believers to pause and assess. We keep hearing this message to assess most will question what am I looking for. I am baptized, I belong to a Bible grounded church, I believe Yeshua is my saviour and he died on the cross for my sins. I believe he is my interceder. What more is there to do? Why do I continue to hear this call to assess my walk my relationship?

2 Peter 2:18 KJV
For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.

It is not without reason you are reminded to assess daily. If you recall we were shown Satan and his minions work subtlety patiently placing their wiles and temptations within your path.

Continuously placing thoughts of assuredness and completeness that all is won and your journey is on the right path.

In the midst of their talk of liberty, these men are the vilest slaves; their own lusts gain a complete victory over them, and they are actually in bondage. When men are entangled, they are easily overcome; therefore, Christians should keep close to the word of God and watch against all who seek to bewilder them.

A state of apostacy is worse than a state of ignorance. To bring an evil report upon the good way of God, and a false charge against the way of truth, must be exposed to the heaviest condemnation. How dreadful is the state here described!

Yet though such a case is deplorable, it is not utterly hopeless; the leper may be made clean, and even the dead may be raised. Is thy backsliding a grief to thee? Believe in the Lord Jesus, and thou shalt be saved.

Those who ask why should we daily assess our walk. There are many cautions many reasons, possibly found in the following in Jude 1:7-8
Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
[8]Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.

Notice how often the word “ungodly” is repeated. Many now do not at all refer to the terms godly, or ungodly, unless it be to mock at even the words; but it is not so in the language taught us by the Holy Ghost. Hard speeches of one another, especially if ill-grounded, will certainly come into account at the day of judgment. These evil men and seducers are angry at everything that happens and never pleased with their own state and condition. Their will and their fancy are their only rule and law. Those who please their sinful appetites are most prone to yield to ungovernable passions. The men of God, from the beginning of the world, have declared the doom denounced on them. Such let us avoid. We are to follow men only as they follow Christ.

In these moments of assessment, we find how the truly primitive church, of the first days of it; its state of infancy indeed, but, like that, the state of its greatest innocence. Set an example for many to discover how they kept close to holy ordinances, and abounded in piety and devotion; for Christianity, when admitted in the power of it, will dispose the soul to communion with God in all those ways wherein he has appointed us to meet him, and has promised to meet us. Thus your answer of why you should daily pause pray meditate and take a serious look at the condition of your walk and how much of the world have you allowed to creep into it? How much of the world’s wisdom are you presenting to our Lord as righteousness. In doing so, most will discover those little subtleties of Satan affecting your walk you missed. You can not fix what you’re not willing to recognize and rebuke. And all of God’s children say Amen and Amen.

The greatness of the event raised them above the world, and the Holy Ghost filled them with such love, as made every one to be to another as to himself, and so made all things common, not by destroying property, but doing away selfishness, and causing charity. And God who moved them to it, knew that they were quickly to be driven from their possessions in Judea. The Lord, from day to day, inclined the hearts of more to embrace the gospel; not merely professors, but such as were actually brought into a state of acceptance with God, being made partakers of regenerating grace. Those whom God has designed for eternal salvation, shall be effectually brought to Christ, till the earth is filled with the knowledge of his glory.
