DO YOU RECOGNIZE  YOU’RE JOURNEYING THROUGH THE VALLEY OF DEATH!

“ROBERT’S OPEN DECLARATION!”
My position in presenting these articles is done not as a Pastor, Minister, or Teacher of God’s words. They are brought forward as messages to be discerned by those receiving them and choosing personally how to react. Scriptural foundation for their delivery Ezekiel 33:9
Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
It is with great love for all given to me by Yeshua that you are receiving them. Luke 10:16
[16]He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me.  And all of God’s children say Amen and Amen

SPIRITUAL FOUNDATION!

Psalms 23:4
[4]Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

COMMENTARY!

Now, that is a deep thought, actually realizing that those who are not born again in the spirit are spiritually dead and functioning as such. As I discern this verse from Psalm 23 more and more, the statement of being born again becomes even more important to me.

The reality of this verse is God’s way of saying I am going to spiritually ressurect you from the valley of death. I will now nourish you and protect you as you journey back to me through that Valley.

Now, here’s where it becomes important for all those who have been born again to recognize we must maintain our relationship with Yeshua and Yahewa as a completed commitment. We must sustain our position as stated in Deuteronomy 6:5 KJV
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

Here is a brief summary of real Christianity, containing the first principles of faith and obedience. Jehovah, our God is the only living and true God; he only is God, and he is but One God. Let us not desire to have any other.

We are to love God with all our heart, and soul, and might. That is, 1. With a sincere love; not in word and tongue only, but inwardly in truth 2. With a strong love. He that is our All, must have our all, and none but Hebrews 3. With a superlative love; we must love God above any creature whatever, and love nothing but what we love for him 4. With an intelligent love. To love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, we must see good cause to love him 5. With an entire love; he is ONE, our hearts must be united in his love. Oh that this love of God may be shed abroad in our hearts!

Here, I must make this comparison for those seeking heaven today. Note that we are told we will be entering a promised Land as were the Isralites of the Exodus from Egypt. Our journey is from the slavery of death and Satan’s grasp over our soul. Which, the Lord has broken for us through Yeshua being our Sacrificial Lamb and offering Salvation through being spiritually reborn (resurrected in spirit) and beginning our journey through the Valley of death to our promised Land.

Now, what comes to mind is the Exodus journey of 40 years and what transpired to those in that journey and their eventual fate.

Hebrews 3:9-11
[9]When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.
[10]Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways.
[11]So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)

The hardening of the heart is the spring of all other sins. The sins of others, especially of our relations, should be warnings to us. All sin, especially sin committed by God’s professing, privileged people, not only provokes God, but it grieves him. God is loth to destroy any in, or for their sin; he waits long to be gracious to them.

But sin, long persisted in, will make God’s wrath discover itself in destroying the unrepentant; there is no resting under the wrath of God “Take heed:” all who would get safe to heaven must look about them; if once we allow ourselves to distrust God, we may soon desert him.

Let those that think they stand, take heed lest they fall. Since tomorrow is not ours, we must make the best improvement of this day. And there are none, even the strongest of the flock, who do not need the help of other Christians. Neither are there any so low and despised, but the care of their standing in the faith and of their safety, belongs to all.

Sin has so many ways and colours that we need more eyes than our own. Sin appears fair but is vile; it appears pleasant but is destructive; it promises much but performs nothing. The deceitfulness of sin hardens the soul; one sin allowed makes way for another; and every act of sin confirms the habit. Let everyone beware of sin.

Christ, as the eternal Son of God, is rightful Owner and Sovereign Ruler of His Church. There must not only be setting out well in the ways of Christ, but stedfastness and perseverance therein to the end. Every meditation on his person and his salvation will suggest more wisdom, new motives to love, confidence, and obedience.

Those who spread loose principles, which render the church of God unholy, bring destruction upon themselves. Christ by his Spirit dwells in all true believers. Christians are holy by profession and should be pure and clean, both in heart and conversation. He is deceived who deems himself the temple of the Holy Ghost, yet is unconcerned about personal holiness or the peace and purity of the church.

The importance of the information contained in our recent release https://romboughrobert.wordpress.com/2023/06/05/does-using-coping-skills-justify-lusting-as-being-normal-and-a-moral-act-2/ should resonate loudly for all believers to note the following example on being unequally yoked with sinfulness seen as normal.

True pastors will caution their beloved children in the gospel, not to be unequally yoked. The fatal effects of neglecting Scripture precepts as to marriages clearly appear. Instead of a help meet, the union brings a snare. Those whose cross it is to be unequally united, without their wilful fault, may expect consolation under it; but when believers enter into such unions, against the express warnings of God’s word, they must expect much distress.

The caution also extends to common conversation. We should not join in friendship and acquaintance with wicked men and unbelievers. Though we can not wholly avoid seeing and hearing and being with such, yet we should never choose them for friends. We must not defile ourselves by converse with those who defile themselves with sin. Come out from the workers of iniquity and separate from their vain and sinful pleasures and pursuits from all conformity to the corruptions of this present evil world.

If it be an envied privilege to be the son or daughter of an earthly prince, who can express the dignity and happiness of being sons and daughters of the Almighty?

A flock of sheep, gentle and harmless, feeding in verdant pastures, under the care of a skilful, watchful, and tender shepherd, forms an emblem of believers brought back to the Shepherd of their souls.

The greatest abundance is but a dry pasture to a wicked man, who relishes in it only what pleases the senses; but to a godly man, who by faith tastes the goodness of God in all his enjoyments, though he has but little of the world, it is a green pasture.

The Lord gives quiet and contentment in the mind, whatever the lot is. Are we blessed with the green pastures of the ordinances? Let us not think it enough to pass through them, but let us abide in them.

In closing, I believe it is important for those journeying through the valley of death, on the narrow path leading them back to Yahewa, to recognize the deep value being offered in Psalms 91:1-2
[1]He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
[2]I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

What greater assurance can we have in knowing God is present and tending his flock Psalms 23:4
[4]Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Robert a humble obedient servant to Yeshua and his Father in heaven Yahewa. And all of God’s children said Amen and Amen.
