SPIRITUAL FOUNDATION

Luke 10:27-28 KJV
And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. [28] And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.

COMMENTARY!

Today, I had an Evangelist quote to me: Why is it wrong to solicit funds if it feeds orphans and widows.

“Something I must state for all to understand, I do not compromise on anything its called exercising my integrity while keeping your eyes on God. Many keep asking me to compromise my walk as they have done and that will not happen.” Does that make me special, or above anyone, “no”!

Exercising your faith takes courage. Our Lord gives strength to those servants who will not compromise his word and their walk within their relationship with Yeshua and Yahewa.

I field upwards to a minimum of three appeals a day to become a hypocrite. These appeals I place on a spiritual level as one of Satan’s three temptations to our Saviour to bow his knee to him.

Matthew 4:9-10 KJV
And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. [10] Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

Additions to God’s laws reflect upon his wisdom, as if he had left out something which was needed and which man could supply; in one way or other they always lead men to disobey God.

How thankful we should be for the written word of God! Never let us think that the religion of the Bible can be improved by any human addition, either in doctrine or practice. So why is it so many have so little faith in God’s ability to complete his promises.

Then, perhaps in naivety, they seek to add to God’s commandments their worldly commandments as part of their justifications of their actions. Thus capturing those walking in similar naivety into hypocrisy.

Those who make God their Hope, shall flourish like a tree always green, whose leaf does not wither. They shall be fixed in peace and satisfaction of mind; they shall not be anxious in a year of drought. Those who make God their Hope, have enough in him to make up the want of all creature-comforts. They shall not cease from yielding fruit in holiness and good works.

When we use verbal testimony, we are able to recognize who is being glorified, in pondering your action we learn inevitably, it is not God, but the individual or individuals whose compassion was stimulated, thus it appears as a good thing has occurred.

When we take the time to ponder what occurs when God is first approached through faithful prayer, we find God’s compassion is awakened to the needs, not that he is not aware, but now knows you are seeking him, instead of compromise, and your action confirms you are keeping the first commandment. Thus, he begins the process of involving those who are obedient by conditioning their hearts to serve and fulfill his promises.

Keep in mind, God, really doesn’t need these servants, but involves his servant’s so they will receive a blessing for their obedience and the glorifying of God for his compassion on all, involved. The orphans, needy or poor, or those in strife and turmoil. All will be blessed in different ways bringing forward  God’s glory to be spread by their testimony of how their hearts were conditioned to be an instrument for God to keep his promises, thus proving to the Gentiles God does exist and how one prayer can effect so many lives with so many blessings.

I ask all to recognize we have a choice of who it is we learn from. Those who trust to their own righteousness and strength, and think they can do without Christ, make flesh their arm, and their souls cannot prosper in graces or comforts.The case is bad indeed, if the conscience, which should set right the errors of other faculties, is a leader in the delusion. We cannot know our own hearts, nor what they will do in an hour of temptation. Who can understand his errors? Much less can we know the hearts of others, or depend upon them.

He that believes God’s testimony in this matter, and learns to watch his own heart, will find this is a correct, though a sad picture, and learns many lessons to direct his conduct. But much in our own hearts and in the hearts of others, will remain unknown. Yet whatever wickedness there is in the heart, God sees it. Men may be imposed upon, but God cannot be deceived.

Matthew 16:22-23 NKJV
Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, “Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!” [23] But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.”

Those that follow Christ, must not expect great or high things in this world. Peter would have Christ to dread suffering as much as he did; but we mistake, if we measure Christ’s love and patience by our own. We do not read of any thing said or done by any of his disciples, at any time, that Christ resented so much as this. Whoever takes us from that which is good, and would make us fear to do too much for God, speaks Satan’s language. Whatever appears to be a temptation to sin, must be resisted with abhorrence, and not be parleyed with. Those that decline suffering for Christ, savour more of the things of man than of the things of God.

There is no room in our walks for compromise. The Lord is getting ready to shake the rams out-of the church then shake the compromised sheep from the flock recognize his lifted church is a righteous one. In closing I bring you this thought recognize God did not accept compromised walks with the Israelites coming out of Egypt and through Yeshua warning us today he will not accept compromise in our walks.

The call to return to using fsith and turning to God first is ringing loud and clear to get our walks in line with Yahweh and Yeshua

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

That man alone with whose spirit the Spirit of God bears witness that his sins are blotted out, and the thoughts of whose heart are purified by the Holy Spirit, so that he can love God, and worthily magnify his name. We are not in a safe state unless it is thus with us, or we are desiring to be so.
