SCRIPTURAL FOUNDATION!

1 Peter 2:9 KJV
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

COMMENTARY!

As I ponder this verse and the description of each path taken, they do not seem to describe similar walks. When a believer reaches out to the world for assistance, I fail to understand how that fits the definition of being any different than the Gentiles being reached out to, I fail to recognize how this form of presenting my beliefs as a Christian honoring God appears to the Gentiles as being Peculiar.

My question then to any who in their minds have justified this walk as being supported by Yahewa and Yeshua, please explain how your rationalization brings honor on God as the benefactor. Or how it appears to the children you are standing on faith to honor God when they see you praying but holding your hand out to the world, sort of saying God needs backup.

The word of Christ is spoken to all believers; and there is a cleansing virtue in that word, as it works grace and works out corruption. And the more fruit we bring forth, the more we abound in what is good, the more our Lord is glorified. In order to show fruitfulness, we must abide in Christ and must have union with him by faith. It is the great concern of all Christ’s disciples, constantly to keep up dependence upon Christ, and communion with him.

True Christians find by experience that any interruption in the exercise of their faith causes holy affections to decline, their corruptions to revive, and their comforts to droop. Those who abide not in Christ, though they may flourish for awhile in outward profession, yet come to nothing.

The fire is the fittest place for withered branches; they are good for nothing else. Let us seek to live more simply on the fulness of Christ and to grow more fruitful in every good word and work, so may our joy in Him and in his salvation be full and a demonstration for all to witness.

Let us think frequently upon the second coming of Christ. He shall come, to the terror of those who wound and crucify him by apostacy: he shall come, to the astonishment of the whole world of the ungodly. He is the Beginning and the End; all things are from him and for him; he is the Almighty; the same eternal and unchanged One. And if we would be numbered with his saints in glory everlasting, we must now willing submit to him receive him, and honour him as a saviour, who we believe will come to be our Judge.

Alas, that there should be many, who would wish never to die, and that there should not be a day of judgment!

I was given the task to bring God’s children to be solidly embedded in God separate from the world, which many are coveting as their answer to assist the poor orphans and widows. There walk has taken them off the narrow path. My task is to bring followers back on the narrow path and dolifly embedded.
