COMMENTARY!

Here is a question asked as a statement of fact to an earlier description I related about the condition of some churches today and how they got there.

Robert Does the Holy Spirit teach you definitions of words?

The following is my answer; yes, he teaches all wisdom from heaven. Please, do not try and relate man’s wisdom is superior to wisdom received from heaven.

“Romans 1:22 tells us where man’s wisdom leads and Romans 1:23 the result of that leading!” Look around you, same-sex marriages, sodomites attending the Assemblies, man’s wisdom in the form of ism’s being taught from the stage as there are no longer pulpits!

Really, you call new age teachings, or prosperity teachings, biblical, or having false prophets leading your churches, or TV evangelists portraying themselves as snake oil salesmen hawking their holy oils and holy water as biblical teachers; Pastors, who are afraid to read certain books of the Bible, as your Scriptural teachers. Do I believe the Holy Spirit teaches definitions, most certainly?

Do I believe the Holy Spirit teaches how to fear God because He is a loving Father who forgives, but is as well a CHASTE Father in heaven who deals with His children, especially those who blaspheme the Holy Spirit?

What must be feared is His wrath because we know the depth of it, and if it is displayed, we know it is deserved. The greatest sin these churches have committed is bringing God down to man’s level of compassion and teaching, God {the worldly church’s definition of god} forgives all sin, but have removed, “God”, chastens those of His disobedient children who continue in sin.

Many of today’s churches have dropped, being accountable for your actions and as well taking responsibility for them as part of their teachings.

They are teaching how to rationalize and then justify your choices and decisions. Thus, the flocks are learning how to Cope with God. Resulting in the introduction of isms into their teachings.

You learn how to rationalize and justify your sins. I call it the “Devil Made Me Do It” syndrome! [That] is how the Holy Spirit has been driven out of the churches.

Revelation 2:2-3
[2]I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles and are not, and hast found them, liars:
[3]And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name’s sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.

Christ knows and observes the state of His churches; though in heaven, yet he spiritually walks in the midst of his churches on earth, observing what is wrong in them, and what they lack and need.

Christ keeps an account of every hour’s work his servants do for him, and their labour shall not be in vain. But it is not enough that we are diligent; there must be inclusive action bearing fruitfulness while exercising, our patience while waiting for our Lord Yeshua’s return in the clouds.

1 Thessalonians 4:17 KJV
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

And though we must show all meekness to all men, yet we must show, a just zeal, against their sins.

If the presence of Christ’s grace and Spirit is slighted, we may expect the presence of God’s displeasure and chastening. These modern-day churches are calling indifference to truth and error, good and evil, charity and meekness, but in truth it is not so; and it is displeasing to Yeshua.

The Christian life is a warfare against sin, Satan, the world, and the flesh. We must never yield to our spiritual enemies, knowing we will have a glorious triumph and reward.

All who persevere shall derive from Christ, as the Tree of life, perfection and confirmation in holiness and happiness, not in the earthly paradise, but in the heavenly.

Believers who are well acquainted with the Scriptures, may, in humble dependence on Divine teaching, discern those who set forth doctrines according to the apostles, and those who contradict them. The sum of revealed religion is in the doctrine concerning Christ, his person and office.

The false teachers speak of the world according to its maxims and tastes so as not to offend carnal men. Because the world approves of them, they make rapid progress and garner many followers who walk after their image; the world loves its own, and its own will love it.

The true doctrine as to the Saviour’s person, as leading men from the world unto God, is a mark of the spirit of truth in opposition to the spirit of error.

The more pure and holy any doctrine is, the more likely to be of God; nor can we by any other rules try the spirits whether they are of God or not. And what wonder is it, that people of a worldly spirit should cleave to those who are like themselves, and suit their schemes and discourses to their corrupt taste?

Though the way of error is a hurtful way, many are always ready to walk therein. Let us take care we give no occasion to the enemy to blaspheme the holy name whereby we are called, or to speak evil of the way of salvation by Jesus Christ, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

These seducers use feigned words. They deceive the hearts of their followers. Such are condemned already, and the wrath of God abides upon them. God’s usual method of proceeding is shown by examples. Angels were cast down from all their glory and dignity for their disobedience.

If creatures sin, even in heaven, they must suffer in hell. Sin is the work of darkness, and darkness is the wages of sin. See how God dealt with the old world. The number of offenders no more procures favour than their quality. If the sin is universal, the punishment shall likewise extend to all.

If in a fruitful soil the people abound in sin, God can at once turn a fruitful land into barrenness and a well-watered country into ashes. No plans or politics can keep off judgments from sinful people. He who keeps fire and water from hurting his people, Isaiah 43:2, can make either destroy his enemies; they are never safe. When God sends destruction on the ungodly, he commands deliverance for the righteous.

In bad company, we cannot but get either guilt or grief. Let the sins of others be troubles to us. Yet it is possible for the children of the Lord, living among the most profane, to retain their integrity; there being more power in the grace of Christ, and his dwelling in them, than in the temptations of Satan, or the example of the wicked, with all their terrors or allurements.

In our intentions and inclinations to commit sin, we meet with strange hindrances, if we mark them When we intend mischief, God sends many stops to hinder us, as if to say, take heed what you do. His wisdom and power will surely affect the purposes of his love, and the engagements of his truth; while wicked men often escape suffering here, because they are kept to the day of judgment, to be punished with the devil and his angels.

Blessings brothers and sisters may you all walk in the light which has been shared with you comforts you and lights the narrow path so hard to find and maintain.
