WHAT IS THE MEASURE OF A BELIEVERS ABILITY TO BEAR FRUIT?

ROBERT’S OPEN DECLARATION!”
My position in presenting these postings is done not as a pastor, minister, or teacher of God’s words. They are brought forward as messages to be discerned by those receiving them and choosing personally how to react. Scriptural foundation for their delivery Ezekiel 33:9
Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
It is with great love for all given to me by Yeshua that you are receiving them. Luke 10:16
[16]He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me.  And all of God’s children say Amen and Amen

1 Corinthians 13:3 KJV
And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

COMMENTARY!

That which establishes souls, is, the plain preaching of Jesus Christ. Our redemption and salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, are, without controversy, a great mystery of godliness. And yet, blessed be God, there is as much of this mystery made plain as will bring us to heaven, if we do not wilfully neglect so great salvation.

Life and immortality are brought to light by the gospel, and the Sun of Righteousness is risen on the world. The excellent way being disclosed in the last verses of Romans, is not what is meant by charity in our common use of the word, almsgiving, but a display of love in its fullest meaning; true love to God and man. Without this, the most glorious gifts are of no account to us, of no esteem in the sight of God. When we turn our needs to the world and our backs on that love.

A clear head and a deep understanding are of no value without a benevolent and charitable heart.  There may be an open and lavish hand, where there is not a liberal and charitable heart. Doing good to others will do none to us if it be not done with devoted love to God, and good-will to men. If we give away all we have, while we withhold our heartfelt love from God, it will not bear fruit. Nor even the most painful sufferings.  These are  the deluded souls who look for and use the acceptance and reward for their good works, which is scanty and defective, giving an appearance that they are corrupt and selfish!

Our Lord warns against hypocrisy and outward show in religious duties. What we do must be demonstrated as an inward principle, that we may be approved of God, not praised by men.

We are cautioned against hypocrisy in providing and seeking alms. Take heed of it. It is a subtle sin; and vain-glory creeps into what you do before you are aware. But the duty is not the less necessary and excellent for being abused by hypocrites, which serves their pride.

The doom Christ passes, at first may seem a promise, but it is their reward; not the reward God promises to those who do good, but the reward hypocrites promise themselves, and a poor reward it is; they did it to be seen of men, and they are seen of men.

When we take least notice of our good deeds ourselves, God takes most notice of them. He will reward thee; not as a master who gives his servant what he earns, and no more, but as a Father who gives abundantly to his son that faithfully and lovingly serves him.

Those who turn from God’s love and embrace the spoils of the world, their purpose, and rewards, though based in human compassion, are revealed in Matthew 6:2
[2]Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

It is a serious point to note the use of human compassion without God’s compassion enjoined is a gateway for Satan to draw unsuspecting Shepherd’s into his delusion the world holds answers to their plight thus separating them from God’s compassionate love.

Pride is a sin in us by nature; we need to be cautioned and armed against it. All the saints make up one body in Christ, who is the Head of the body, and the common center of their unity. In the spiritual body, some are fitted for and called to one sort of work; others for another sort of work.

We are to do all the good we can, one to another, and for the common benefit. Demonstrating our full love, soul, faith, trust as obedient servants fulfilling God’s promises.

Robert a humble obedient servant to Yeshua and his Father in heaven Yahewa. And all of God’s children say Amen and Amen
