SPIRITUAL FOUNDATION

Exodus 20:3
[3]Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

COMMENTARY!

That was the challenge Yeshua placed before me July 28th, 2022. And to gain my attention both physically and spiritually, he brought me down on my back through the following test of my faith and relationship.

My testimony of August 12th, 2023, is about having to place my faith and trust in the hands of Yeshua. This picture is graphic and shows how deeply serious Yeshua was in order to gain my attention. Oh, how close I was to receiving my final baptism into death. You think I am being dramatic, not at all.

Now, here is where I need your full attention. Yes, I attended the medical profession. However, I was not about to accept their final diagnosis and solution, amputation of my right leg just below the knee.

My wife of 32 years, Bunnie Marie, prayed with me that nothing further with my foot and body was going to occur. My answer if God had answered prayer came via a 20-year surgeon familiar with gangerous wounds stated he did not schedule amputation because I was, in his opinion, now not septic nor my life being threatened. He as well stated he could not understand why with such an advanced wound and stage of Gangerene progression I was not septic.

I immediately knew why, and made it known to him that someone far greater than he was at my side and was going to heal it. One other doctor recommended amputation as the solution as in his 30 year experience wounds this serious never completely heal and usually end in amputation due to serious infections. I assured him this wound was going to heal because I had someone far stronger than he by my side.

That leads me to the real healing which needed to occur. As I was in the hospital with time on my hands I prayed and asked the Lord why he had me on my back.

His reply was to the point and sort of a slap as I believed all along I was being an obedient servant. I now ponder how many others are suffering from the same symptoms of believing you’ve been obedient.  

Exodus 32:9 NKJV
And the LORD said to Moses, “I have seen this people, and indeed it is a stiff-necked people!

After much meditation and prayer it was becoming clear I needed to take a serious look at my spiritual condition. Yeshua does not take this depth of action unless he is close to wrath and turning you over to a reprobate mind. Which we see in Romans 1:28
[28]And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Ok, now the real picture was clear: the physical was to get me flat on my back to hear his personal message. I was in error and not listening to the Holy Spirits warnings. So this testimony is for those the Lord is reaching out to in his warnings many he has tasked as Shepherd’s are being stiffnecked and are not hearing the Holy Spirits message.

As for my foot, I lost two toes, and have been convalescent for just over a year. Now, for those who don’t think faith works, remember the highly most respected open wound specialist was so sure this wound would never fill in again and I would be fighting infections because of its nature is in for a spiritual lesson as are all those who are afraid to stand on faith. So for those who believe I don’t know anything about living with faith. I live it daily now for all things. You see, without God, they would have amputated my leg, not just two toes, a small price to pay to experience God at work. And answering his call in obedience to now share his work as part of my task. And just as a reminder, Luke 10:16
[16]He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me.

The task Yeshua has placed before me as a Watchman is to have believers return to using their faith and reliance on prayer to Yeshua and his Father in heaven Yahewa to fulfill their needs. The call of our Lord is to return to His altar, completely step away from depending on the world, its idols and ideologies, recognize and know all we have, is from, and of the Lord.

The Lord sets watchmen to guard your houses, and sentinels to warn of your enemies’ approach, but where the everlasting happiness or misery of the soul is at stake, you are offended if ministers obey their Master’s command, and give a faithful warning; you would rather perish, listening to smooth things.

Blessed are the peacemakers, those who are men of God, and remain in faith for all things. And all who are devoted to walk in the footsteps of our Lord’s journey. These will surely bring peace to the hearts of many saints, as did the 12 apostles, whose destiny was as well to wear the Baptism of death, which is the destiny of Yeshua’s faithful. Psalms 23:4
[4]Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

True devotion is being willing to lay down your life in the name of Yeshua and his Father in heaven Yahewa in obedience. How blessed our lives would be, and our cups would runneth over.

Will your fervor be as strong when the day comes to face the inevitable time of entering our eternal life? This is not a judgment but a thought to ponder, here and now, when the day of our baptism into death comes, are we truly ready to pass through the valley of death. Can we confidently know our Lord’s rod and staff will comfort us. Have we sat at our Lord’s table and shared what was prepared for our strengthening of our spirit and soul to make that journey knowing we have been cleansed by the fires of trial and tribulation as we have journeyed to the gate. Our brothers allude there are many forms of baptism to be encountered during our Pilgrimage through the valley of the Living dead which we were once a part of and were freed by the blood of the Lambs final sacrifice offering Salvation and receiving a water baptism to cleanse us before our heavenly Father, who acknowledges us as one of his adopted sons and daughters as he did his Son whom he sent to open that narrow path for us to follow unto our eternal life, receiving all in the name of our Saviour Yeshua. Who in finality of our new life will introduce us to his and our Eternal Father Yahweh, as we begin our Eternal journey. Go in peace, my fellow warriors of Christ, for we are all of the same family who have all had a personal journey, with Jeshua, to finally meet our adoptive Father Yahweh.

Psalms 91:1-2
[1]He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
[2]I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

He that by faith chooses God for his protector, shall find all in him that he needs or can desire. And those who have found the comfort of making the Lord their refuge, cannot but desire that others may do so. The spiritual life is protected by Divine grace from the temptations of Satan, which are as the snares of the fowler, and from the contagion of sin, which is a noisome pestilence.

Great security is promised to believers in the midst of danger. Wisdom shall keep them from being afraid without cause, and faith shall keep them from being unduly afraid. Whatever is done, our heavenly Father’s will is done; and we have no reason to fear. God’s people shall see, not only God’s promises fulfilled, but his threatenings.
