COMMENTARY!

It is Sunday, August 6th, 2023, our Lord’s day. I spend this day with the Lord in prayer and meditation, searching the scripture for confirmation of  messages received from the Holy Spirit in response to prayers lifted to our Father. I must clarify that the answers are sometimes for prayers previously lifted and some for this day.

The important part is I will not share unless it can be scripturally verified. And I must say there are some which don’t make the cut.

Today, as I perused Facebook spiritual postings one of my earlier prayers of two weeks past was verified by a posting pastor Robert Woodward posted.

In the beginning with the word, and the word was with God. And the same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him and without him was not anything made that was made.
       John 1:1-3

In the beginning God created the heavens and the Earth.
And and the Earth was without form and void, and darkness covered the face of the deep.
      Genesis 1:1-2

And God said, let there be light and there was light.
      Genesis 1:3

And in him with life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shined in darkness and the Darkness comprehended it not.
       John  1:4-5

And God saw the light that it was good: and he divided the light from the darkness. and he called the Darkness night. And the evening and morning were the first day.  And God said, let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
        Genesis 1:4-6

Let us note here that the light in verse 3 of Genesis 1 is the primary root for all light, this will be the person of Jesus Christ. Let us also note that the darkness had the ability to comprehend, in other words it was spirit not physical.

The Hebrew word for day here is Yowmn, while it has the application of a 24-hour period of time, it more often has the application of a particular event regardless of the time allotment. The 24-hour time sequence was not installed until the 4th day when God established the planetary Orbits.

Something to think about as we watched the spiritual climate around us get darker and darker.

My response to this man of God came to me through a conversation with my wife, Bunnie Marie. As we spoke about the creation, she related a spiritual revelation found in Genesis chapter one. That God had all creation in his mind before he created it Genesis 1:1-3
[1]In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
[2]And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
[3]And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

These two pieces of information confirmed a message I had received three weeks previously. The Lord was tasking me to call all his children back to depending on their faith and trust in God as they continue their journey. He was calling all of His children to turn away from the darkness falling upon the world and focus only on the light he has brought into the world. John 1:1-5
[1]In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Here is a message I received while meditating today August 6th, 2023.

It will read as two parts I provided as an answer to Pastor Woodward’s posting. Blessings Man of God. I ponder who understands this fact that before anything was formed it was a thought in God’s mind. Genesis 1:1-3
[1]In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
[2]And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
[3]And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

Then, the message came through. At first, I had thought perhaps it was personal, and I eluded to that fact in my response. However, I realized it was a verification to this message received earlier.

I say man of God I ponder what the Lord has in store these coming days as His call is for the brothers and sisters to assess whose altar they are bowing their knee at the Lord’s or Baals. His   call is to come back to standing on faith, to come away from worldly wisdoms, and return to using God’s heavenly wisdom.

Ponder your thoughts. Is the wisdom you’re standing on from above or worldly. Has your walk become lackadaisical, maybe a bit nonchalant or more peaceful than it should be. Take a look. Have the spiritual attacks kind of subsided, maybe not as intense as they were. Time to hear our Lord’s call to take a spiritual assessment of your walk and relationship with Yeshua and Yahewa as well. How much are you hearing from the Holy Spirit and his leadership?

Just thought I’d share my Lord’s day meditation message received. Might be personal, but I thought I’d share with you just in case it might come in handy this week. I’ve started looking!

All of my recent posts received, dealt with using God’s treasury for those assisting Orphans and widows to remove their dependency on the world for support and turn to God in faith and trust he will provide with an abundance. These messages were meant for all to see if there is a dependency on the world rather than on what God will provide.

These messages showed that the possibility existed that there may be a slippage on depending on faith and prayer. That a dependency on the comforts of the world may have crept into our walks.

These messages also revealed that the world is Satan’s domain and that any dependency on this domain could be construed as bowing your knee at Baals altar unknowingly rather than at God’s altar.

This video was provided to reveal what support the Holy Spirit offers those fully depending on Prayer and faith.

and what those not standing on faith were missing out on.

The bottom line is that God is calling all of His children to stop and look at their walk and personal relationship to make sure all is in order. I would say not to ignore this call as there is always something big about to happen when we receive this type of warning. I am reminded of what this verse is relating to those who choose to ignore. Luke 10:16
[16]He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me. 

Something to seriously ponder as it is a caution given by Yeshua. But as Romans 1:22
[22]Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, there are always some of these in every crowd and that includes the Ecclesia. Just look around you’ll find them surprisingly!
