OUR PRAYER!
Heavenly Father hear these words grant us your patience that we may find our way on this narrow path you have provided. Bring us discernment that we would know your words interpret them with us as you have set them before us. Lord bring us to your walk, guide us, so we are walking in your light and only in your presence. Fill us with righteousness that we may stand against all temptations to veer from this narrow path. Bring us under your wings Father comfort shield and nurture us like the children we are. This we pray in Yeshua’s name, and all

COMMENTARY!

The gifts we have will be continued to us or not, as we use them for the glory of God and the good of our brethren. Nor is it enough not to hold the truth in unrighteousness; we should desire to hold forth the word of life and to shine, giving light to all around. Great encouragement is given to those who prove themselves faithful hearers of the word by being doers of the work. Christ owns them as his relations.

Let the word of Christ have the place it ought to have in a soul, and it will show itself in a good conversation. It grows gradually: first the blade; then the ear; after that, the full corn in the ear. When it is sprung up, it will go forward. The work of grace in the soul is, at first, but the day of small things; yet it has mighty products even now, while it is in its growth; but what will there be when it is perfected in heaven!
