ROBERT’S OPEN DECLARATION!”
My position in presenting these postings is done not as a pastor, minister, or teacher of God’s words. They are brought forward as messages to be discerned by those receiving them and choosing personally how to react. Scriptural foundation for their delivery Ezekiel 33:9
Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
It is with great love for all given to me by Yeshua that you are receiving them. Luke 10:16
[16]He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me. And all of God’s children say Amen and Amen
SCRIPTURAL FOUNDATION!
Luke 3:14 NKJV
Likewise the soldiers asked him, saying, “And what shall we do?” So he said to them, “Do not intimidate anyone or accuse falsely, and be content with your wages.“
COMMENTARY!
The gospel requires mercy, not sacrifice; and its design is to engage us to do all the good we can and to be just to all men. The same principle that leads men to forego unjust gain leads to restoring that which is gained by wrong. John tells the soldiers their duty. Men should be cautioned against the temptations of their employments.
These answers declared the present duty of the inquirers and at once formed a test of their sincerity. As none can or will accept Christ’s salvation without true repentance, so the evidence and effects of this repentance are here marked out.
The importance of our adoption now is highlighted in this verse Exodus 23:1
[1]Thou shalt not raise a false report: put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.
In the law of Moses are very plain marks of sound moral feeling and of true political wisdom. Everything in it is suited to the desired and avowed object, the worship of only one God, and the separation of Israel from the pagan world.
The adoption makes us a part of the Israelites who are to separate from paganism. Neither parties, friends, witnesses, nor common opinions, must move us to lessen great faults, to aggravate small ones, excuse offenders, accuse the innocent, or misrepresent any thing.
As believers, we must be aware of how our presence is seen by the worldly. It is possible for us to appear intimidating as confidence and being assured can be misread.
My wife Bunnie Marie asked, how so we are to have a gentle spirit, show meekness and humility? That is all true, however, zeal and determination to share the truth can be seen as aggression and bullying, giving those of the world witnessing these actions a sense of being intimidated. To an unsuspecting public those fully armored as spiritual warriors could easily be seen as intimidating due to the fact that believers have a knowledge and understanding about what is spiritually around us and is not available to the worldly.
The common reaction is to think believers are out of step with the world. Thus, the feeling of intimidation due to lack of understanding the behavior of a believer whether in vocalization or demonstration. John the Baptists’ warning to the soldiers reveals what care must be taken by believers. John tells the soldiers that men should be cautioned against the temptations of their employments. Jesus emphasized his warning to the disciples in Matthew 10:16 KJV
Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
Christianity is worth everything; all who believe the truth of it will come up to the price and make everything else yield to it. Christ will lead us through sufferings, to glory with him.
It is the power of Yeshua’s presence in all we do that those of the world misunderstand and feel intimidated. We then see that the disciples of Christ are hated and persecuted as serpents, and their ruin is sought, and they need the serpent’s wisdom. Be ye harmless as doves. Not only do nobody any hurt, but bear nobody any ill-will. Prudent care there must be, but not an anxious, perplexing thought; let this care be cast upon God. The disciples of Christ must think more about how to do well than how to speak well.

Robert a humble obedient servant to Yeshua and his Father in heaven Yahewa. And all of God’s children say Amen and Amen.
