My position in presenting these articles is done not as a Pastor, Minister, or Teacher of God’s words. They are brought forward as messages to be discerned by those receiving them and choosing personally how to react. Scriptural foundation for their delivery Ezekiel 33:9
Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

SCRIPTURAL FOUNDATION!

1 Peter 2:9 KJV
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

COMMENTARY!

The gain of godliness lies much in the promise; and the promises to godly people relate partly to the life that now is, but especially to the life which is to come: though we lose for Christ, we shall not lose by him.  If Christ be thus the Saviour of all men, then much more will he be the Rewarder of those who seek and serve him; he will provide well for those whom he has made new creatures.

Many persuade themselves they are holy persons, yet their hearts are full of sin, and practice secret wickedness under the guise of comforts and possession of luxuries. There are others whose lofty pride is manifest believing their walk is righteous, not realizing it is filled with isms.

Those who would follow Christ aright must, at his command, leave all things to follow him, must be ready to part with them. This instance of the power of the Lord Jesus encourages us to depend upon his grace. He speaks, and it is done.

Matthew 4:20-22
[20]And they straightway left their nets, and followed him.
[21]And going on from thence, he saw other two brethren, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in a ship with Zebedee their father, mending their nets; and he called them.
[22]And they immediately left the ship and their father, and followed him.

So here we have the first test of our commitment and faith within the Ecclesia. Are you saying for me to properly follow our Lord as one of his modern-day disciples, I must leave everything behind? 

No! However, what is being stated is those who, having committed to our Lord should without question, be prepared to show all that what the Lord has provided, for those who are his loyal servants. As a demonstration of their being a peculiar people, in obedience to their Lord’s call, have no further dependency on all of the worlds comforts, luxuries, and wisdoms, as part of their  personal relationship and walk with Yeshua. They are in their obedience prepared to live in and with faith alone, to like Ezekiel, demonstrating God’s power. Matthew 6:26 NKJV
Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?

It would seem presently that this calling is in question by multitudes of the Ecclesia. Because the question in their heart’s, is how do we provide? How do we survive while journeying through this world? My reply to these questions is who placed these thoughts in your minds to bring them before our Lord.

Can you not recognize these are seeds of doubt which blind you to God’s truth? Have you forgotten what we have as sustenance and coverings as our homes and apparel are all provided by the rewards of our labour’s, which Yahewa has provided to His servants. Matthew 6:25,31-33 NKJV
“Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? [31] “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ [32] For after all these things, the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. [33] But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Have you succumbed to the world’s belief like the Gentiles that you  alone provided them. That by your efforts skills and labours you are the sole provider. 1 Peter 2:11 KJV
Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; Have you forgotten that all your skills are gifts from Yeshua. Ephesians 4:8 KJV
Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

A brother in Christ queried me today about the condition of many within the world. He stated the harvest is great, but there are so few to reap it. How do we go about such a task?

Here was my reply. Don it will be met by those who in their hearts are dedicated not just to win souls but demonstrate how being dedicated to our Lord dominates our enemy and overpowers all forms of evil.

How, when we actually practice every moment of every day, that there is no disease, there is no confusion, only peace in our lives and our families, even though the world around us is in chaos.

We demonstrate like Ezekiel did with his sacrifice, God’s  powers, and abilities to do what he promised. No sickness, no torment, power to overcome temptations, that we have sustenance sufficient, and long life.

Our demonstration of truth then becomes, a journey without fear but with power and wisdom under our Lord’s Grace as obedient servants who love their God with all their hearts, minds, souls and strength and demonstrate they would be content to be without the luxuries, comforts, and world’s wisdom yet under God’s grace remain within them as their reward for having first forsaken them. In other words, we are peculiar people in the eyes of God and become such in the eyes of the Gentiles who are in the darkness of evil. To them, we become God’s light shining as beacons for all to see, we are different and have peace in our lives even though we are surrounded by the world’s chaos and dramas.

Psalms 91:9-12
[9]Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
[10]There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
[11]For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
[12]They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

The bottom line is in being true to our teachings, we will live in God’s comforts, not the world’s, and be an example. Actions speak louder than words. Our words will get their attention. You making those words come alive get’s those in darkness, desiring to want what you have inner peace. As I see it, there are many in the Ecclesia who would also learn that when you actually walk the talk, you will find yourself in the hands of God’s angels and your journey even though filled with trials and tribulations actually becomes smoother.
