Matthew 4:19
[19]And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

OUR PRAYER!

Heavenly Father, I come before thee as your humble servant placing before you Father All who are busy reflecting your light into the world and walking as your “FISHER’S OF MEN.” I pray, Lord, you will remove from your flock all spirits of pride, self-importance, belief that they are special in  your eyes. Yehwah, I pray for the spirits of humility, meekness, and submission be upon them Lord through the leading of the Holy Spirit. I ask Lord for you to draw them closer, Father, to deepen your personal relationship with them, Lord.  I pray you will loose upon them a deeper knowledge of the mysteries required within our walk for the spiritual battles they will face as your humble servants. I plead, Father, you will deepen their spirit of discernment and wisdom to enhance their understanding of the courage you have placed in their hearts so they may move forward  This I pray for in the name of Yeshua. And all of God’s children said Amen and Amen

COMMENTARY!

Yeshua chooses the foolish things of the world to confound the wise. Diligence, in an honest calling, is pleasing to Christ, and it is no hinderance to a holy life. Idle people are more open to the temptations of Satan than to the calls of God. It is a happy and hopeful thing to see children careful of their parents and dutiful. When Christ comes, it is good to be found doing. Am I in Christ? is a very needful question to ask ourselves; and, next to that, Am I in my calling? They had followed Christ before, as common disciples, John 1:37; now they must leave their calling. Those who would follow Christ aright must, at his command, leave all things to follow him, must be ready to part with them. This instance of the power of the Lord Jesus encourages us to depend upon his grace. He speaks, and it is done.

The gain of godliness lies much in the promise; and the promises to godly people relate partly to the life that now is, but especially to the life which is to come: though we lose for Christ, we shall not lose by him.  If Christ be thus the Saviour of all men, then much more will he be the Rewarder of those who seek and serve him; he will provide well for those whom he has made new creatures.

Hear Yahewa call to pause pray, meditate, assess your walk, know your position and relationship with Yeshua, your interceder as you wait his return. Overconfidence is a form of idleness and it was pointed out earlier. Those who are idle in righteousness are vulnerable to Satan’s temptations. Know which path you are following. Many persuade themselves they are holy persons, whose hearts are full of sin, and who practice secret wickedness. There are others whose lofty pride is manifest. Be certain you are not being idled by the comforts and luxuries of the world. Dedicate One Minute a day at the Lord’s table.
