OUR PRAYER

Heavenly Father, hear my petition before your throne. Open the minds and hearts of your children to know your path. That to remain on your narrow path, there can not be any of the world present. Release unto them Father your wisdom so they might discern no form of enmity can be in your presence. Lift from them the vail shrouding their minds of this truth. Place in their hearts the knowledge that your teachings determine righteousness, not them. Teach them that you will determine the outcome of their choices at the end of this journey. All of God’s children say Amen and Amen.

In the name and by the authority of the Lord Jesus, that having professed the gospel, you should not be as the unconverted Gentiles, who walk in vain fancies and carnal affections. Do not men, on every side, walk in the vanity of their minds? Must not we then urge the distinction between real and nominal Christians?

They are void of all saving knowledge; they sit in darkness and love it rather than light. They have a dislike and hatred to a life of holiness, which is not only the way of life God requires and approves, and by which we live to him, but which has some likeness to God himself in his purity, righteousness, truth, and goodness.

The truth of Christ appears in its beauty and power when it appears as in Jesus. The corrupt nature is called a man; like the human body, it is of divers parts, supporting and strengthening one another.

Sinful desires are deceitful lusts; they promise men happiness but render them more miserable and bring them to destruction, if not subdued and mortified.

I ponder how many whovwalk with a mixture of heavenly and worldly wisdom realizes they walk void of God’s presence or of the Holy Spirit  James 4:4 KJV
Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

It seems there are those who like the Israelites who exited Egypt, believe in their minds they are presenting and worshipping God righteously while presenting enmity before Him.
