For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
We all have heard how the Greeks destroyed Troy with a Trojan horse. How it was temptation that allowed the downfall. You will hear learned men professing scholarly knowledge telling you that believers are shielded from temptations because they are saved and under the protection of Yeshua’s blood. Which is true to a point. However, being human we are subject to curiosity which Satan knows is a weak point in our spiritual armour.
Satan also knows that once we put on the armour of God we keep it in place until we are victorious over him. Thus, we see the Trojan horse introduced into our battle.
Satan’s aim is not to derobe you but to pacify you within the armour, thus making your attacks less effective.
Be not deceived by the subtlety of Satan as his Golden cup is filled with iniquities lies deceptions pleasantries, which slowly leaves you never satisfied, always craving for more, thirsting to sip from his Golden cup.
Babylon is abundant in treasures, yet neither her waters nor her wealth shall secure her. Destruction comes when they did not think of it. Wherever we are, in the greatest depths, at the greatest distances, we are to remember the Lord our God; and in the times of the greatest fears and hopes, it is most needful to remember the Lord. The feeling excited by Babylon’s fall is the same with the New Testament Babylon, Revelation 18:9, Revelation 18:19. The ruin of all who support idolatry, infidelity, and superstition, is needful for the revival of true godliness; and the threatening prophecies of Scripture yield comfort in this view. The great seat of antichristian tyranny, idolatry, and superstition, the persecutor of true Christians, is as certainly doomed to destruction as ancient Babylon. Then will vast multitudes mourn for sin and seek the Lord. Then will the lost sheep of the house of Israel be brought back to the fold of the good Shepherd and stray no more. The exact fulfillment of these ancient prophecies encourages us to faith in all the promises and prophecies of the sacred Scriptures.
The evil and the good events of life are often represented in Scripture as cups. Under this figure is represented the desolation then coming upon that part of the world, of which Nebuchadnezzar, who had just began to reign and act, was to be the instrument; but this destroying sword would come from the hand of God.
Now having the knowledge a Trojan Horse, exists within our ranks, the following continues to provide examples of how Satan is successfully pacifying sectors of the Ecclesia. You should note in the following how being unsatisfied leads to a description of spiritual drunkenness. And how our Lord deals with those who abide in this deceived lifestyle. Jeremiah 25:14-16.
The desolations the sword should make in all these kingdoms, are represented by the consequences of excessive drinking. This may make us loathe the sin of drunkenness, that the consequences of it are used to set forth such a woful condition. Drunkenness deprives men of the use of their reason, makes men as mad. It takes from them the valuable blessing, health; and is a sin which is its own punishment. This may also make us dread the judgments of war. It soon fills a nation with confusion.
In these final words it is revealed how to recognize rebuke and overcome the Trojan Horse within the Assemblies and Ecclesia. That all Christians may be encouraged, in the time of trial, to be faithful to their Lord. The gospel is the great means whereby men are brought to fear God, and to give glory to him. The preaching of the everlasting gospel shakes the foundations of antichrist in the world, and hastens its downfall. If any persist in being subject to the beast, and in promoting his cause, they must expect to be for ever miserable in soul and body. The believer is to venture or suffer any thing in obeying the commandments of God, and professing the faith of Jesus.
May God bestow this patience upon us. Observe the description of those that are and shall be blessed: such as die in the Lord; die in the cause of Christ, in a state of union with Christ; such as are found in Christ when death comes. They rest from all sin, temptation, sorrow, and persecution; for there the wicked cease from troubling, there the weary are at rest.
Their works follow them: do not go before as their title, or purchase, but follow them as proofs of their having lived and died in the Lord: the remembrance of them will be pleasant, and the reward far above all their services and sufferings. This is made sure by the testimony of the Spirit, witnessing with their spirits, and the written word.

Matthew 24:31 KJV
And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. Robert a humble obedient servant to Yeshua and his Father in heaven Yahewa.
