Revelation 17:4
[4]And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
OUR PRAYER!
Heavenly Father, hear my cries for your guidance and teachings to open the eyes and ears of your children. Bring forward your light that all the darkness shrouding our world and lives may again be filled with your strengthening words. Bring forward your healing of all those caught in the darkness of Satan’s lies and deceptions. Remove from their lives the lusting for pomp, glory, and power feeding their pridefulness to remain in splendid, gainful, or fashionable religions. Take from them the golden cup filled with all of Satan’s mysteries of iniquities. I plead Heavenly Father that all the cords of iniquity and abominations be removed from their hearts in the name if Yeshua, Amen and Amen.
COMMENTARY: Here, in these words, you will find Satan’s subtle allurements of worldly honor and riches, pomp, and pride, suited to sensual and worldly minds. Prosperity, pomp, and splendor feed the pride and lusts of the human heart but are no security against the Divine vengeance.
The golden cup represents the allurements and delusions, by which this mystical Babylon has obtained and kept Satan’s influence, and seduced others to join his abominations. Satan is revealed, from the infamous practices, the mother of harlots; training her captives to idolatry and all sorts of wickedness. She filled herself with the blood of the saints and martyrs of Jesus. She intoxicated herself with it; and it was so pleasant to her that she never was satisfied. We cannot but wonder at the oceans of Christian blood shed by men called Christians; yet when we consider these prophecies, these awful deeds testify to the truth of the gospel. And let all beware of a splendid, gainful, or fashionable religion. Let us avoid the mysteries of iniquity, and study diligently the great mystery of godliness, that we may learn humility and gratitude from the example of Christ. The more we seek to resemble him, the less we shall be liable to be deceived by antichrist.

Proverbs 19:21 wisely teaches us, “Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails.” Robert a humble obedient servant to Yeshua and his Father in heaven Yahewa.
