When the prophets of the Old Testament prevailed not, nor John the Baptist, nor Christ himself, who told them the kingdom of God was at hand, the apostles and ministers of the gospel were sent, after Christ’s resurrection, to tell them it was come, and to persuade them to accept the offer. The reason why sinners come not to Christ and salvation by him, is, not because we can not, but because most will not.

OUR PRAYER I hear the horns in heaven heralding your greatness heavenly Father, sounding out your Holy reverence. Music not of the world but of heaven so majestic it is beyond the human mind, soothing, uplifting and identifying your diety. Lord, we humble ourselves before your throne prostrating before you Father desiring to have you search our hearts, Lord. So we might know our true position within our personal relationship with you, Yeshua. We plead for you to measure our dedication, devotion, and loyalty. If you find it short, heavenly Father reveal those areas we need to strengthen to continue in your service. This we pray in the name of Yeshua Amen and Amen.

Making light of Christ and of the great salvation wrought out by him is the damning sin of the world. Many are careless. Multitudes will perish forever through mere carelessness, who show no direct aversion but are careless as to their souls. Also, the business and profit of worldly employment hinder many in closing with the Savior.

Both farmers and merchants must be diligent; but whatever we have of the world in our hands, our care must be to keep it out of our hearts, lest it come between us and Christ.
