God doesn’t allow sickness or suffering to prevail with mankind! Some will say this guy is blind or refuses to accept what is right before us, all the suffering, sickness and death. How can he claim God is not to blame? Didn’t God send Yeshua to heal the sick blind and lame? What more proof does he need?

For years, I have pondered and prayed for an answer. During my prayers and meditation on February 26th, 2023, I received an answer to this question. It came as one word, “SIN!”

My following prayer was asking for more details because mankind; believer, or non-believer would or could not accept a one word answer as the root cause of their plight with disease and suffering.

The following is what my research revealed to offer as an answer. It begins in the Old Testament. However, to fully grasp the significance of the gospel about to be revealed, there must be a recognition that all covenants God made were done so with Israel and her occupants.

The seriousness of Yeshua’s birth, crucifixion, and resurrection is the main focus of the following information. God had to create a doorway for non Israelites and uncircumcised to become a part of His new covenant being established with Israel. Yeshua was that doorway that offered Gentiles and uncircumcised who were non-Israelites a position in God’s new covenant as adopted children.

This adoption now placed those accepting God’s son Yeshua as their savior, will be lifted out of the darkness and death, into the light of eternal life through the keeping of God’s Ten Commandments, given unto Moses to be followed, kept, and more importantly adhered too as part of the adoption into the New Covenant.

Now in giving the commandments God also laid out edits dealing with how those who brake the commandments would be dealt with.

Research reveals the importance and ongoing significance of a conversation between Moses and God shortly after Israel was delivered out of Egypt. This conversation set the future stage for all mankind throughout its existence and their spiritual choices and decisions generatimade about worshipping God.

Numbers 14:11-13, 19-20, 22-23 KJV
And the Lord said unto Moses, How long will this people provoke me? and how long will it be ere they believe me, for all the signs which I have shewed among them? [12] I will smite them with the pestilence, and disinherit them, and will make of thee a greater nation and mightier than they. [13] And Moses said unto the Lord, Then the Egyptians shall hear it, (for thou broughtest up this people in thy might from among them;) [19] Pardon, I beseech thee, the iniquity of this people according unto the greatness of thy mercy, and as thou hast forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now. [20] And the Lord said, I have pardoned according to thy word: [22] Because all those men which have seen my glory, and my miracles, which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now these ten times, and have not hearkened to my voice; [23] Surely they shall not see the land which I sware unto their fathers, neither shall any of them that provoked me see it:

Of all the verses displayed, Numbers 14:23 holds a very significant role in mankind’s future in regards to disease, illness, and suffering operating in their current lives as well as future generations to come.

In closing the door to those who do not honor God’s commandments, we draw your attention to the tools God has put in place to deal with them. It must be noted emphatically that the consequences are a result of mankind’s spiritual and moral choices and decisions. Deuteronomy 28:15 KJV
But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:

We better understand how it is Deuteronomy 28:15 comes into play here. In researching scripture, we find why our times are perilous; on account of persecution from without, still more on account of corruption within. Men love to gratify their own lusts, more than to please God and do their duty.

For no man can plead that he has fulfilled all his obligations to God and to his neighbor; nor can any truly say that he has fully acted up to the light afforded him. The sinfulness of man is described as ungodliness against the laws of the first table and unrighteousness against those of the second.

Romans 1:21-23
[21]Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
[22]Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
[23]And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

The cause of that sinfulness is holding the truth in unrighteousness. All, more or less, do what they know to be wrong and omit what they know to be right so that the plea of ignorance can not be allowed from any.

The picture of how and why there is disease, sickness, and suffering is becoming clearer. However, when we look at scripture, it becomes understandable why mankind desires to blame God. Acts 7:51 KJV
Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.

Remember, earlier we were shown sickness, disease and suffering remain in mankind’s lives due to their choices and ultimate decision of which path is followed.
