Our Lord teaches that once you come to salvation, we are to separate from the world. Most take this to mean material things that offer luxury and comfort. Many fail to recognize, this includes the many categories of wisdom offered by the world. Previously revealed information showing Satan using our ignorance of God’s Word, and Laws against us successfully, has become prevalent within the Ecclesia.

Ponder 1 Corinthians 3:19 KJV
For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.

The name of Jesus is given to men of every age and nation, as that whereby alone believers are saved from the wrath to come. But when covetousness, pride, or any corrupt passion, rules within, men shut their eyes, and close their hearts, in enmity against the light; considering all as ignorant and unlearned, who desire to know nothing in comparison with Christ crucified.

1 Corinthians 1:27-28,30 KJV
But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise, and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; [28] And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: [30] But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

And the followers of Christ should act so that all who converse with them may take the knowledge that they have been with Jesus. That makes them holy, heavenly, spiritual, and cheerful and raises them above this world.

1 Corinthians 2:4 KJV
And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:

The worldly look for and requires an acknowledgment of wisdom. What is missed by many is how God sees man’s wisdom.

1 Corinthians 3:19 KJV
For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.

To have a high opinion of our own wisdom is but to flatter ourselves; and self-flattery is the next step to self-deceit. The wisdom that wordly men esteem is foolishness with God.

How justly does he despise, and how easily can he baffle and confound it! The thoughts of the wisest men in the world have vanity, weakness, and folly in them. All this should teach us to be humble, and make us willing to be taught of God, so as not to be led away, by pretences to human wisdom and skill, from the simple truths revealed by Christ.

Mankind is very apt to oppose the design of the mercies of God. Observe the spiritual riches of a true believer; “All are yours,” even ministers and ordinances. Nay, the world itself is yours. Saints have as much of it as Infinite Wisdom sees fit for them, and they have it with the Divine blessing. Life is yours, that you may have a season and opportunity to prepare for the life of heaven; and death is yours, that you may go to the possession of it. It is the kind messenger to take you from sin and sorrow and to guide you to your Father’s house.
