2 Peter 2:13 NKJV
and will receive the wages of unrighteousness, as those who count it pleasure to carouse in the daytime. They are spots and blemishes, carousing in their own deceptions while they feast with you,
Outward temporal good things are the wages sinners expect and promise themselves. And none have more cause to tremble, than those who are bold to gratify their sinful lusts, by presuming on the Divine grace and mercy. Many such there have been, and are, who speak lightly of the restraints of God’s law, and deem themselves freed from obligations to obey it. Let Christians stand at a distance from such.
The enemies of the cross of Christ mind nothing but their sensual appetites. Sin is the sinner’s shame, especially when gloried in. The way of those who mind earthly things, may seem pleasant, but death and hell are at the end of it. If we choose their way, we shall share their end.
When we are up and ready, we are not to sit still, but to appear abroad; let us walk. Christianity teaches us how to walk so as to please God, who ever sees us.
Walk honestly as in the day; avoiding the works of darkness. Where there are riot and drunkenness, there usually are chambering and wantonness, and strife and envy. Solomon puts these all together, Proverbs 23:29-35. See what provision to make. Our great care must be to provide for our souls: but must we take no care about our bodies? Yes; but two things are forbidden. Perplexing ourselves with anxious, encumbering care; and indulging ourselves in irregular desires.
Natural wants are to be answered, but evil appetites must be checked and denied. To ask meat for our necessities is our duty.
Many appealing for healing prayer without a change in the individuals sinful ways is wrong. We are taught to pray for daily bread; but to ask meat for our lusts is provoking God, Psalms 78:18.
Those hearts are hard indeed, that will neither be melted by the mercies of the Lord, nor broken by his judgments. Those that sin still must expect to be in trouble still. And the reason why we live with so little comfort, and to so little purpose, is, because we do not live by faith. Under these rebukes, they professed repentance, but they were not sincere, for they were not constant.
It is sad when men begin in the Spirit, and end in the flesh. Twice dead; they had been once dead in their natural, fallen state; but now they are dead again by the evident proofs of their hypocrisy.
We should be careful that nothing in our behaviour at the Lord’s table, appears to make light of that sacred institution. The Lord’s supper is not now made an occasion for gluttony or revelling, but is it not often made the support of self-righteous pride, or a cloak for hypocrisy? Let us never rest in the outward forms of worship; but look to our hearts.
A good measure of our walk and personal relationship with Yeshua is the order before us. I reference this article https://romboughrobert.wordpress.com/2023/02/10/yeshua-is-recruiting/
OUR PRAYER
Heavenly Father in humility we come before your throne, asking for you to search our hearts and reveal the true state of our journey. The true position, we hold with Yeshua within our personal relationship. Bring our weaknesses forward to be identified, show us our vulnerabilities to temptations, fill us with humility so we might accept your findings. Bring forward the depth of our Integrity and wisdom of our determination in demonstrating ourselves as humble, meek, servants committed to your service. Bring into our lives the secrets of heaven, that we might be emboldened to serve with all of our hearts, our minds, and most of all our Spirit and Soul. This we pray in your name Yeshua, Amen and Amen.

Robert a humble obedient servant to Yeshua and his Father in heaven Yahewa.
